Alistair held up his hands at Bow's comment. "No charge. I would not ask money for something that was given to me free. The only thing that I ask is that you be a little...." He paused to think of the right word, "tolerant  towards the humans. It's actually a pretty layed back town. Other than that little request, you all would not owe me a penny. I just don't like the thought of a fellow demon with nowhere to stay."

Alistair nodded to Bow. He was a little shocked by her approach, but nevertheless he still gave a crooked smile. "No problem." Then, to answer Saw's question, he pointed towards the west. "It's not too far at all. The town is about a mile or so that way. One thing that I like about it is that it's the only town around here for miles, so it has a small population."

After a moment or two of trying to resist the urge to scratch the canine demon behind the ears, Alistair answered her. " That shouldn't be a problem at all." Actually, the request worked in Alistair's favor. By nightfall, the two gangly men that were currently seeking to rip him limb from limb should be in a bar getting ridiculously wasted, leaving Alistair free to return to his home without any grief.

"I can't, however, wait until then to eat," he said as he stood up. "I will be back in a few moments. I should not be any longer than that. I'll bring you back something as well. " He paused. "I hope that you all like fruit." Shrugging a bit, the demon headed off towards the apple tree that he had passed earlier.

(I'm so afraid to leave that scene. I'm not sure if Insane is returning or not and I did not want to abandon her character >.< )

As he walked further and further from the small group of demons Alistair felt his whole body begin to relax. It wasn't that he did not like their company, for it's rare to find demons that don't immediately want to rip your limbs off, but it was difficult to be around so many demons at once. Over time he knew he could get used to it, but right now the scent of demonic power was enticing to his other form, like a freshly cut steak being held in front of a caged and derranged lion, making it a bit challenging to keep that part of him contained. 

About a few minutes into the forest he finally made it to his favorite wild apple tree, which was nearly tipping over because of the over-abundance of fruit. He stared up at it, scratching the back of his head, and wondered if inviting the demons to his home was too reckless of an idea. He smirked at that thought. Of course it was a reckless idea, but that was just who he was now. A glass half-full kind of demon. After putting his thoughts aside, Alistair began to pick apples from the lower branches of the tree.
