Dusk sighed monotonously as she stared sightlessly at the wall of the Hermes cabin. What if I don't belong here, what if I am not a half-blood... Dusk thought angrily, tossing a rock and hitting anohter kid. The kid stormed to the other side of the room and she felt him sit down. "Sorry." She muttered.
The kid nodded to show he had heard her, but it didn't matter, Dusk was was blind and she couldn't see him either way. She growled and got up from her cot, tripping over some bags as she walked. A low snarl rose in her throat, but she pushed it down. She needed to figure out what cabin she was supposed to be in.
The wind swept violently over her as she stepped out of the cabin into the cold morning air and whipped her hair over her purple eyes. She continued to walk, sticking her hands into her pockets. She felt no colder than she had in the cabin, to her, it was always warm when the air was wet.
She knew for a fact that she wasn't Athena's child, she wasn't smart enough and school definately wasn't her forte. Nor was she in Aphrodite's cabin, she wasn't as pretty as them. She was just average with black hair and blind eyes, what boy liked that in a girl. Hephastus wasn't her father, she was sure, she just couldn't build with her hands. She cried the first time she tried to build a tower when she was in a house at 4-years-old.
She tried and tried to think of where she could be and a hazy picture formed in her mind of a family on a boat in the water. One of the children was black-haired like Dusk, but he was a boy. The mom was thin and also had black hair. The father was a bit overweight, wearing a hawaiien t-shirt with flowers. He had a beard and his cheaks were red as if he had been laughing. the picture dissapeared.
Her father couldn't be Posieden.... Or could it?
((I got carried away.))
