(( Ok, since I haven't been posting I know whats going on, (call me meg please) I'll sum it up: Emmy, you are fighting zombies with Robin, and you haven't gone through the portal. Robin, you are fighting zombies with emmy, and you haven't gone through the portal. Z, you have gone through the portal with Jen while carrying Leanna. Jen, you have gone through the portal with Z while carrying Leanna. And I am passed out from overuse of magic, but still alive and through the protal. Got it? ))

I know that it's...deathly late, but I've been reading all the pages of posts and was just wondering if I could join in? )

(( Quarantine, I think that's ok, but we are going to need to find a way to integrate you and the boys [I am making one too] into it, so I think if you just make your bio I can find a way to get you in. ))

( Alright. And I'll be playing two characters, if that's okay.
By 'bio' do you mean character biography/skeleton or introductory post -- and will my introductory post be in "Destination Safe" or elsewhere? )

(( Forget the bio thing, I forgot this is about the one thread where you don't need one. You won't be arriving in destination safe, which is why I need to think about how to get you in. We are running from destination safe, it isn't really safe anymore. ))

I guess I'll just be idle until you can figure out how to slip me in? )

(( I'm about to find a way to slip you in. All the characters have to get through the portal my character opened [I'm an elf] and then I can wake up, and we can run away. We can meet all the new people on the streets. I think that is the last time we can add more people in though. We are getting pretty full. ))

(( Kk. We need to wait till the other people get here to get you in all the way, but we can all post our new characters intro posts. By the way, you are going to be traveling with at least a guy I am making, maybe more people, just so you know. ))

( Alright. I'll just post my intro and then you can cue your character/the rest of the group in. )
"This place is a wreck." Said a boy of adolescent age, climbing on top of one of the destroyed, compressed cars that lined the streets. He was of average height, (around 5'8"), with a slender build, though he did have slight traces of muscle -- just an even balance of strength and flexibility. "It was always a wreck, remember?" There was a girl traveling with him. She appeared to be about his age, if not a year older. Pastel-teal hair reached down to her waist, the cotton candy colored locks being swept to her left side. Both were clad in tattered tank tops, jackets, and tight-fitting jeans which were adorned in blood from the living dead (and themselves, due to a few unpleasant wounds.) "Oh sorry. Next time why don't you remind me to check out the scenery as I'm running for my life." He snorted. "Don't be a prick, Isaiah." The tealette shot back, jerking the hand that held her makeshift weapon in his direction. "Whatever." He pouted, shoving his hands into the pockets of his jacket before jumping off the car. "Do you really think the owner would appreciate you using their car as some sort playground equipment." She giggled. "Well, if the owner has a problem then I guess we'll discuss it then, otherwise I'm pretty sure they're dead and gone."
"rrrRRRRRAAAAAAAAALRGGHJHHh!" A vile groan came from behind the alleyway. "Looks like we've found our owner." A devilish grin curled at the boy's lips as he peered over at the figure, watching it slowly draw closer. "I guess we did. Do you want to take this one?" "Yeah, I got this." The tealette mimicked his grin as her grip tightened on her weapon. "GRRRRAAAAALLGHHHG" The figure, no, abomination's mouth hung wide open as it charged, revealing rows of bloodied, mangled teeth and thin bits of sinew that held its jaw in place. "That's it, get niiiiiiice and close." Her hands tightened more around the handle, slowly becoming florid from her grasp. Details piled in as the figure drew closer. It's tattered clothing, mangled, decadent skin, absent limb, and the smell, oh lord the smell. That alone was enough to make the most calm and collected sick to their stomach. Her grin sat unfazed as the bat was brought back to her ear. Six steps to go, four steps to go, two steps to go, and...."CRACK." A shower of blood erupted from the stump where it's head once was, covering the side of a brick wall in a deep red hue. With a loud shout of "Yeeeaaaah!" the two watched the severed head as it soared through the air, coming into contact with the hard ground after a matter of minutes, sending a splash of red to mingle with dark gray. "It's amazing how you can treat your kind that way." The boy chuckled. The tealette's blue eyes widened. "My kind? Not exactly. I'm way more civilized than these things." "Yeah. Disgusting, pathetic morons." Isaiah snarled as he kicked the head that lay on the ground, sending it flying through the air. It's journey came to an unfortunate end as bits of pinkish-gray brain matter smeared against the wall. "Hey!," she frowned, "What was that about treating my kind with respect." She felt the gentle pat of a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, you're much better then these idiots." With a response of "Whatever." she brushed the hand off her.
"Speaking of," he paused, "you need to let me know if you start to feel any urges. I don't want anyone in our group freaking out and using you as target practice, alright?" "Yeah. Don't worry, I'll be fine." She smiled to reassure him before glancing behind them. "Hey, where is the group?" "Hell if I know." Isaiah shrugged. "Might as well just wait for them to catch up," A yawn cut him off mid-sentence. "I'm just going to climb up here and wait for them." The tealette's gaze drifted up to a ledge on a side of a building. "Hey, wait up!" She called up to him as she climbed atop the piles of rusted metal, being ever so careful not to injure herself. "Shhhh, knucklehead, do you want to call them back over!" He joked, playfully ruffling her hair. "Well excuuuuuuuse me for letting you know I was alright. You're the one that decided to 'magically disappear' after all. "Whatever." He wasn't really paying attention, his focus was directed to the pack of cigarettes and the lighter in his pocket. "Do you want one?" He asked, pulling out two thin cigarettes. "Of course I do." The tealette smiled as she accepted his offer. He only chuckled as he lit up her cigarette, paying close attention to how the thin ob[injection]ject was held between her delicate, subtle, rosy lips. "I'm pretty sure the smoke will attract some unwanted company." She joked as she drew in a breath. "Well if that happens then we'll just burn this whole damn place to the ground." He laughed before taking a drag.
She snorted at his remark and Isaiah slowly slipped his arm around her waist. "Now all we need to do is wait for the gang to show up."

Hey guys, wait up. Kyle started running, but quickly stopped to grab his leg. God, that blade was rusty. Lucky I got my Tetnis shot before all this happened, or I would be dead, or zombified by now. He looked down at the gash in his leg, the only thing keeping him from bleeding out was a thin white bandage, which was already slick with blood. Hopefully we run into some people with better medical supplies. I would use my magic, but.. Kyle cut off the thought, it didn't do well to dwell on his magic, it just got more severed from him, and once elves totally loose their magic, they start to become humans. Kyle tucked a strand of his chocolate hair behind his ear. Gosh that stuff needed to be cut, but who had the time to do that in this chaos. Finally, his bright blue eyes landed on two of his group. He was extremely relieved, except when he saw the car in the way. You people know I can't climb cars, I can barely walk. Can one of you come give me a hand. I keep losing even more blood, and I can barely see straight. Kyle wobbled a little bit from blood loss. If they didn't find another group anytime soon, he would be toast. Or a zombie. Or maybe zombie toast. He tried to get his good leg on the car, but his bad one just collapsed, leaving him splayed out on the floor. Man that hurt, almost knocked the wind out of me. Seriously, can someone help me? He heard shuffling from their direction, and he could only hope that it was them and not a zombie, cause he would immediately go down. He didn't have any fight in him, it was hard to when you were bleeding to death.

Once all the zombies were dead Emmy headed towards the portal. She looked back just to make sure more weren't coming. Emmy knew it would be such a waste if the zombies found out or got into the protal. Yet she suspected they would be to stupid to "find out". More like not knowingly entering the portal. Emmy took one glance back and then walked through the portal.
