"Hey guys, wait up." The two looked in the direction of the voice, both greeting the distant figure with opposite responses; the tealette smiled, Isaiah's upper lip only curled up to form a disgusted snarl. "Urgh! Of all the people that could have found us it had to to him." He grumbled in between drags of his cigarette. The girl jabbed him in the side with her elbow. "Shush." She said with a frown. Isaiah huffed. "I don't get why we didn't kill him off when we had the chance, the wounded have no place in this town." "You just can't be nice to anyone, can you." She sighed.
"You people know I can't climb cars, I can barely walk. Can one of you come give me a hand. I keep losing even more blood, and I can barely see straight." "It's called parkour, and it's im[injection]portant in the event of an apocalypse." He took a drag from his cigarette, blowing the smoke out in the direction of the other boy. "It's called being hospitable, and it's im[injection]portant if you want to have friends and sponsors with supplies and survive in the event of an apocalypse." The tealette grumbled, shooting a stern look his way. Isaiah crossed his arms and huffed. "Hmph, I don't need 'friends.' We were better off on our own." The girl thought of saying something back in response, but it was useless, he was about as stubborn as can be, even if she was right. It was always better to travel in a group in stead of alone, especially in a place like this where anything and everything could and would happen. As usual, she was the only one that saw things for what they really were, he only treated this place like some sort of desecrated, concrete playground, even killing the undead was a game to him -- everything was a game to him.
"Man, he is pathetic." She heard him grumble as he watched the boy struggle to join them. The smirk on his face gave off the impression that he was enjoying watching him struggle, (and was also probably just waiting for the right time so he could sit back and watch the poor boy get reduced to a pulp as a horde came.) He always had a sick sense of humor, and she did too, admittedly.
"Seriously, can someone help me?" "Yeah, yeah. I'll be right there, kid." He waved his hand through the air, keeping a firm grasp on his cigarette. The tealette felt a strand of hair being brushed from her sullen face. "You coming, Ash?" "Yeah." She smiled. "Give me a minute, I'll meet you down there." "Alright, baby." She smiled back. "Be safe coming down. I'm going to see what this kid wants."

(( lets say Emmy did bring robin but they go separate ways))
Emmy saw the others had gone. She remembered Leanna saying some thing about a guy named blake in town. Hesitating on witch way was town, she stated heading north. Her six year old sense of direction wasn't the best. After a while of walking she heard voices. Then of coarse she got another vision. It was of a boy and a girl helping a wounded boy. She snapped back to reality. Emmy was happy she had found more people and rushed in that direction. Just incase her vision of the future was wrong, witch they had yet to be, she tightened her little hand around the pistol.

Leanna woke up, somehow Jen and Z had gotten her here. For some reason Emmy and Robin were not with them, but her elf ears detected a sound coming from the northern direction. She could only hope it was Emmy and not a zombie, for she started to run after the noise. She new that Jen and Z were most likely staring at her gaping. She turned around.
Look guys, i am going after that noise. There is a chance that it is Emmy or even a group of other people. If i have a chance to find Emmy, I am taking that chance. You can either follow me, or you can go a separate way, but I finally have someone, something to live for, and I am going to find that someone, even if it kills me.
She could only hope her friends would follow her. If they didn't, she wouldn't really consider them friends.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kyle knew that most likely Isaiah wouldn't have helped him of it weren't for Ash. Kyle hadn't even known that two people as opposite as them could be in the same room without strangling each other, but they made it work somehow. He wasn't really aware of where they were and how they were helping him up, he was more focused on getting over the car. Finally they made it over.
Thanks guys. When i get my magic back I promise I'll make it up to you.
He started waling forward, trying to block out the pain from his leg. Suddenly he saw the figure of a girl moving toward them. he ducked behind a pile of scrap metal, and motioned for the others to do the same. He hoped that they did, but he was to concentrated on whether this person was a zombie or not.
Thank the Lord, it is just a little girl.
Relief washed over him, and he almost stepped out from behind the pile, but he noticed someone coming from the opposite direction. This girl was much closer, and running much to fast to be a zombie, but there were still some hostile people alive, and it couldn't hurt to be careful. As she got closer, he noticed that she looked a little familiar. The outline, the hair, the eyes...
No way. It can't be, she couldn't have survived...
Tears sparkled in his eyes. He never thought she would see her again.
It's Leanna. I found her.
Leanna! LEANNA!
He disregarded everything, and ran out from behind the pile, the pain in his leg had been wiped completely out of his mind. She had just cleared the car. Only a few more agonizing yards separated them, and he braced himself for the hug that he knew was going to come.

Jen, almost out of breath, was running after Leanna, trying to catch up, when she heard the yell. She was to far away to hear it properly so she couldn't tell if it was a shriek of pain or not. The first thing she thought of was Emmy. She ran as fast as she could just barely catching up with Leanna until she saw who the yell was from. She ignored him completely, her main goal was to make sure Emmy was okay. She looked in the distance for Emmy and much to her surprise she saw her. "Leanna I can see Emmy!" (( Quaratine Can you make your font bigger?))
I'd tell you i love but then I'd have to kill you.

Emmys eyes filled with joy! She went to hug Leanna with a running start. "Leanna i'm so glad to see you!" she shouted with excitment. Now she knew she was definitely safe. Emmy saw Jen and smiled. "So almost all of us are together again?" She asked. She Didn't do well alone so with a lot of people she felt a spark of hope. " And we've also met knew people too!!"

Leanna was totally conflicted. Run after Emmy, or hug her boyfriend? Boyfriend, definitely boyfriend.
Sorry Emmy, I thought he was dead.
She ran up to Kyle, her eyes shining, and embraced him. She felt him wipe a tear from her cheek. She smiled and looked up.
I thought I would never see you again. After you didn't catch up, I feared the worst, and I gave up. I couldn't stop crying for days. I missed you Kyle..
Her voice trailed off. She held him tighter, and happy silence filled the moment, both of them reveling in the others presence. Finally Kyle looked her in the eyes.
Leanna, I would never have given up, and I wouldn't let those things kill me. I told you to run because the thought of them hurting you was worse than the thought of dying myself.
Kyle, you are the biggest, most stupid idiot I have ever met.
They smiled at each other, they didn't need words to know what the other person was feeling. Anyone could have looked at them and known exactly what was going through their minds. This lasted for a minute or so, then Leanna looked down and saw Kyle's leg.
Oh my gosh what happened Kyle! We are separate for three weeks and you almost bleed to death.
Leanna didn't even wait for permission, she just bent down and unwrapped the bandages. Blood immediately started to ooze out. She said a few magic words, and the gash immediately closed up, leaving nothing but a small pink scar.
Thanks Leanna, that really felt great.
You're welcome, I am only forgiving you because I was passed out about a minute ago.
Leanna felt Emmy almost tackle her.
Emmy, Jen, i would like you to meet Kyle, my boyfriend.

Emmy had a shocked look on her face when Leanna just passed her. Did i do something wrong? Emmy thought. "Emmy, Jen, i would like you to meet Kyle, my boyfriend" Leanna exclaimed. It made more sense, but Emmy still felt a little hurt. Emmy waved at kyle with a slight smile on her face. She avoided eye contact with him. For some reason she just didn't like him, but she couldn't explain why. Was she jealous that Leanna had someone else to pay more attention to? No, Emmy refused to think that. "Where are we going to stay?" Emmy asked with a hint of annoyance in her voice.

I think I know just the place Emmy.
She hugged the little girl next to her
So nice to see you again Emmy. I hope those zombies didn't hurt you.
She did a quick glance over Emmy, and healed a few scratches on her. She then started to walk towards the forest that was about a mile away. She knew forests like the palm of her hand. There was nothing in them that hid from her, and nothing that she couldn't hide from.
Sorry if anyone here has a fear of forests, but I know an old elven safe house in there. It is enforced with magic, and we should be safe for at least a couple days, plus it has a built in silent alarm system, so if a zombie gets near us we will know immediately.
Leanna started walking forward. She wished she had some reinforcement from Z, but she hadn't said a word the entire time. It was almost like everyone had expected Z to be the leader in the beginning, and she had just kinda faded. Leanna was thankful for the experience of leadership for when she was queen, that is if she and Kyle weren't the last elves, but she didn't feel like it was her place to take over for Z. She did seem to be leading them a lot now though. At least now she had Kyle to help her.
Come on, lets get a go before more zombies find us, I'm not sure exactly how far we are away from the portal I made, but we can't be far. If the zombies stumble across it and we are anywhere near it, we are in serious trouble.
Leanna broke off in a run again. She was sure that Kyle would follow her, and almost sure that Emmy would, but the others she didn't know. She had never even seen the two new people, but she hoped they trusted Kyle enough to follow her. Z she thought would do it, but also jen had never truly trusted her, and Robin was new.
So this is what being a queen is like. Never sure if your subjects will follow you, always worried that mutiny may arise, always watching your back to make sure there is no knife there. Speaking of being a queen, I will have to tell Kyle about that. I don't know how he'll react. i hope he doesn't get all weird and spacy like my dad did.

"don't worry Leanna i'll always stay by your side!" Emmy said as if Leanna said that out loud. Honestly Emmy did think she said that out loud.

(I normally keep my font small to conserve space, but I suppose I can make an exception. )
"Touching," Isaiah grumbled from the post they were previously sitting on top of, "Our only chance for reinforcements and what do we get--two annoying girls and another freaking faerie." "Elf, darling." Ashley corrected him before taking a small drag off her cigarette. "And you have to feel a bit of sympathy for them--they've been separated for quite a while, can you imagine, being lost from the one you love for so long that you just give up hope? I can't even fathom it." "Hmmph," he scoffed, "if I wanted a 'Kodak moment' I would've brought my damn camera." "And there you go again. You just can't be compassionate for the slightest minute, can't you, boy." A devious grin crossed the boy's face, "Oh, I can be compassionate when I want to, heh," he chuckled, lightly grabbing hold of her chin before completing his sentence. "And you, of all people, should know that."
The tealette's eyes widened and she felt her face flush, the actions earned another smirk from the boy. "Wha-whatever!" She exclaimed, tearing her jaw out of his hand.
"Hmmn?" Isaiah instantly perked up. "Looks like our faeries are going into the forest." He followed his sentence with a laugh. "We should follow them?" The tealette questioned, turning her attention to the distant figures. He loaded a few bullets into his revolver, chasing each with a smirk. "Yeah, we should." "Wha-what are you doing! We're supposed to be on their side!"
Isaiah shrugged as his thumb slid over the hammer, cocking it with a subtle "click." "I don't like people, you should know that by now." "Now, com'on, we've got quite a ways to go."
"I can already tell this is going to end badly," Ashley sighed, "and I'm not bailing your ass out when you almost get us killed." "Whatever." He rolled his eyes as he helped her down. "If we hurry we'll be able to catch them in a decent amount of time." "And then?" She asked. He grinned and tucked the revolver into his pocket. "Then what happens, happens."

They had finally reached the safe house. Leanna had been there before, and the smell of earth and pines was the most welcoming thing about this place. No zombies, no sulfur, no burning, just nature. Leanna took a deep breath, reveling in the familiarity of the place. She knew Kyle was doing the same. Nature was irresistible to elves.
Okay, just let me do a quick spell, and that should unlock it. Kyle, can you help me?
Um, Leanna, I have basically lost all my magic. I can only do something simple like make a flower grow.
Kyle looked at the ground sheepishly, and Leanna resisted a very strong urge to smack him. Couldn't he do anything without her? She shook her head.
I'll deal with you later Kyle. I guess I am going to do this myself. Don't be surprised if I pass out again. It is normally a two person spell, but i guess the new queen of elves can handle it.
She had felt that was a good time to drop the whole elf queen bombshell on him. At least she openly admitted it, unlike him. She mumbled a few words, and the door cracked a little, and she didn't even wobble a little.
You guys coming in?
------------------------------------------------------------------
Kyle felt like his world had just exploded. Leanna was queen? When did this happen? Why didn't she tell him. Obviously she had know for at least a couple weeks, if not more. Why hadn't she been honest.
She was probably just waiting for the best opportunity. And i have to admit, this was a pretty good one. I would have passed out or vomited at any other time. Yeah, she knows me so well.
Before entering the door, he turned around to try to see if anyone from his group was there. He thought he saw Ash's teal hair, but that might have just been something else. He shrugged and walked in after Leanna into the darkness.

Emmy walked in and looked all around. "Wooow" She said in awe. "Its pretty big!" she smiled and spun around. "not again" she mumbled as another vision kicked in. She was in a room with kyle and there was dim lighting. Kyle was banging on a iron door and Emmy was crying in a corner. Emmy snapped back to reality. Shock and confusion flooded her face. The last thing she wanted was to be stuck in a room with him.

"Isaiah, we shoot zombies, not people! Are you even listening to me? Isaiah!" It was useless, that boy had a shoot-now-ask-questions-later attitude, and that was exactly how he managed to snag her, only at that time it was more of a kiss-now-ask-the-girl-questions-later type of moment. "Urgh! You have to be the most stubborn, hard-headed, incompetent, unfathomable..." She kept her voice fresh in the boy's mind throughout the whole entire [forced] journey. His eyes narrowed, her 'reasoning' had became too much. He had to do something to shut the tealette up. "Ashley," He stopped short, grabbed the underside of the girl's chin, and pulled her into a subtle kiss. "You talk too much." The sudden moment had caught her off guard, her eyes widened before snapping back to reality. "Is that always your solution for everything that you find annoying?" She huffed. "Only for you." He winked, sticking his tongue out playfully. "Whatever," the tealette said defeated, "just don't get used to it, alright, boy." "Hmn, don't get used to what, loving you? Or other things?" There was a certain emphasis on the word "other" to make his point clear. "Urgh. I can't believe you'd even have that on your mind in the middle of an apocalypse."
"Well I'm a guy, so......" He shrugged, bringing his attention back to the path. "Hey, what's that?"
"Well, I understand that you are a guy, that much is clear, but not all guys think like that and you should really stop being such a -- ne, what's what?" "That." Isaiah motioned the barrel of the gun towards a small house. "That appears to be a house." Ashley said in a matter-of-fact-ly tone. He rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I think I know what a house looks like. I meant why is it here?" "What, house in the woods seem too odd to you?" Asked Ashley, snorting after her question. "Because believe it or not, people actually do live in the woods away from civilization, imagine that!" "Shut up."
"And yeah, I guess we're just going to have to see who lives here." He gave a devilish grin before pulling the revolver from his pocket and running in the direction of the house. "Now, darling, let's introduce ourselves properly this time oka--oh lord, Isaiah Rossner, you stop this instant, you're going to get yourself killed!"

Leanna saw the two new people approach the house, and she looked surprised that they didn't know it was actually them in there.
Hey Kyle, do those friends of your ever get a clue?
They aren't friends of mine, and the girl does and the boy doesn't. They are pretty much total opposites. Don't know why they like each other so much, I like you because you are so much like me.
Well, the one without a clue is pointing a gun at us. Should we be concerned?
Isn't this place protected from stuff like that?
Yeah, but still it isn't too nice to see that pointed at you.
Leanna and Kyle held hands as they watched them approach, and as the boy got closer, they got more worried.
Kyle, I really think he is planning on shooting that thing.
Don't worry, it will be fine. I can actually see Ash screaming at him to stop. If he shot, she would kill him.
I guess you're right, but if he shoots that thing there is no way I am going to let them in here, which would be a shame, they seem like they would be useful.
Kyle put an arm around her. She always got so nervous during times like this, and he always was there for her. She rested her head on his shoulder. It would only be moments before the pair reached the door, and there was no telling what that boy with the gun would do.

Emmy started to wander off. "I'm going to explore this place!" Emmy shouted to Leanna. After a while of exploring she found an iron door. Totally forgetting about her vision, Emmy opened the door. Some sort of magic sucked her in and She screamed as loud as she could. The door shut behind her and the only light was a dim light bulb on the celling. Then she finally remembered her vision. But wasn't kyle supposed to be with me?.... maybe he comes to help and- "OH NO!" she shouted! If he were to help he would be sucked in too, but the room seemed to be sound proof.

They hadn't heard from Emmy in a couple of minutes. The two outside were still squabbling, and Leanna was getting worried.
Kyle, I'm concerned. Shouldn't we have heard from Emmy by now?
I'll go check on her if you want, Leanna.
That would be great thanks.
Kyle gave Leanna a quick kiss on the cheek and ran off to find Emmy. He came to a big iron door. He didn't think Emmy could open it, but who really knew with these people. Kyle cracked the door open, and was immediately sucked in. He saw Emmy, and realized what had happened, and how his likeliness for escape was not very good. He ran to the door and pounded on it, calling for Leanna.
Leanna! LEANNA! Leanna please!
Eventually he gave up and slumped on the floor, and started to softly cry. Not because he and Emmy were trapped in there, but because he knew how much Leanna cared about both of them, and how she wouldn't stop searching for them until she came upon the door, and her never being able to get out. Kyle hadn't cared if he lived or died in about a year. All his thoughts had been on whether Leanna died or not. Even if Leanna never found this room, it probably was still a fate worse then death. He and Emmy had finally given her someone to care about, and now she had no one. Kyle looked over at Emmy, and saw that she was crying in the corner. He went over and held her, stroking her head. He half expected her to push away from him, she didn't really like him. Maybe the worst of times brought out the best of people.
It's ok kiddo. If no help comes I can transport you out of here with the last of my life force. You'll get to see Leanna again. If that is what I have to do, please don't argue with me. I can't transport myself out, I am to big, and it would kill Leanna if both the people she cared about died. I can't let that happen to her.
Tears glistened in his eyes. It was so hard to get the love of your life back for half a day then have her stolen out from under you.

Emmys hands tightend around kyles shoulders. "No. Leanna will save us. I know she will" she wisperd through her tears. She sat there in Kyle's arms for a bit. Then she interrupted the silence. "stupid visions! This is all your fault!!!!!! If it weren't for you I wouldn't be in this mess!" Emmy shouted as if her visions were a person. She rested her head on Kyle's shoulder as she cried.

(Okay, so I found a way to temporarily 'fix' it. What I'm going to do is bump the thread to the next page so the page format will go back to normal.
Please ignore the influx of alerts you may get from this, it seems to be the only way to fix things. u n u )
