Shay quickly darted downstairs, following the succulent smell of food.  Smelling was the way to go right now since the house was still sort of foreign to her.  Eventually getting to the food, a wide grin was on her face.  "Oh my gosh, this looks so awesome!"  The girl would've hugged Holly if it wasn't going to be.. well, awkward.  This looked amazing! Pasta with wonderful sauce and the great chicken, ooh la la!~  It looked and smelled just as good as it sounded!  Quickly, Shay took a seat.  BUT, she had the idea in her mind that she was going to wait for the others before she took a bite.

Kurogane smiled, taking a seat at his place at the table. His thoughts drifted back to when Lamia had allowed him shelter when he was with out anywhere to go. As long as he had known Lamia, he had noticed that she had always had the sense of when something was right to do or not. He didn't doubt her then, nor would he doubt her now for secretly he felt that these new guests were right where they were supposed to be. He snapped back into the current time, now aware of Sakura resting on his chair. He watched as each new guest made their way down for the meal that was actually cooked by one of the guests. He was starving and didn't really want to wait, but was too polite of a person to openly eat whe not everyone had arrived yet. He eyed the food with a certain wonder of how food so simple looking could look so perfect.

Jade opened her eyes, suddenly exhausted. The sound that had woke her, aparently, was Lamia knocking on the door to tell her that the food was ready. She got up slowly, still quite dizzy from the earlier episode that was still unexplainable. She opened the door to see Jake sitting infront of her. "Good boy, Jake." She said, watching her little gaurd dog's tail wag with the pleasure of a job well done. He followed her down the steps but then took the lead and showed her the way to the place where they would be dining. "Wow, it is so pretty back here. I am almost doubting that this is your place, no offense, but I don't think anyone in the world can pay for how much this is worth. It truly is amazing, and that food looks delicious." She sat down on the left side of a tall male with a bird sitting by his shoulder. She didn't recognize him from the earlier group so she as.sumed that he had been living here prior to that. "She is a beautiful creature." She said, pointing to the hawk.

Kurogane turned to the girl who had taken the seat next to his. "I know, isn't she? It is hard to imagine something so mean in the wild come to my possesion in the form of a creature this majestic. I named her Sakura. Though I can say that your companion is quite the animal as well. Has a sense of intellegence that is far beyond his years." He chuckled, stroking the head of the bird they had been discussing. "I'm Kurogane, by the way." He added, extending his hand out in greeting to the girl.

Jade took the hand with a smile. "I'm Jade, and this here is Jake. I do believe you are right. It is as if he was already trained when I found him. The strange part is, no one could say who he belonged to. I thought for sure he was around here for he knows his way really well, but I guess I was wrong..." She trailed off in thought, trying to come up with a justified explination to why her dog was so sure of where to go.

Haruki, a little tardy (As usual), hustled down the stairs in a rushed manner.  Galaxy, who was too busy gawking at herself in the bathroom mirror, didn't bother to follow.  He nearly tumbled over on the more difficult steps, but managed to keep his balance, as he'd learned to do exceptionally well.

The boy made it down just in time to hear Lamia mention everyone staying at this house.  But he wasn't quite sure of the idea himself.  Yes, the place was amazing, and he was guaranteed everything he needed.  But he'd certainly miss the nights under the stars, travelling where ever, when ever, and most of all, he'd miss the fun of the town and the surrounding forest.  Granted, all that wouldn't necessarily be gone.  He just didn't like the feeling of commitment to one area, to one group of people.

Figuring all this thinking would merely give him a headache, Haru simply settled in an open seat at the table, ready to eat.

After Lamia's announcement, Holly signalled to Robert with a casual nod. Together they began to serve the food, making sure that everyone got a well sized portion of everything. Tonight was not a night or anyone to go to bed less than stuffed. She smiled warmly at all the other guests, waiting until everyone had been served before taking a seat, making sure that Robert did the same.

"Well, I hope everyone considers. The house seems like it would be so empty without everyone here to fill it. Until then, we should just eat!"

((Finals are getting in the way of everything. I really hate them!))

Kurogane was smiling before the food even reached his tongue. Everything smelled amazing and tasted twice as good as he had expected. "This is delicious. Thanks." He said, after swallowing his second bite.
Sakura tried to pick at his food but he playfully brushed her head to the side so she couldn't reach her plate. Finally she gently nipped his ear and stole a strand of pasta off of Kurogane's fork when he paused to say 'Ow'. She flew up and landed on the roof of the house, out of the reach of the annoyed Kurogane.

Jade ate quietly, nodding in thanks to Holly for the food. Each bite seemed better than the last and she couldn't stop eating it. Though it was the first meal she had eaten in a little while. She didn't count her stolen candy bars and bags of chips meals.

Holly's delight grew with each smile she saw. After all, a cook's greatest pleasure was seeing the enjoyment of others. She turned to Lamia, shaking her head. "If you had come down to help I would've just pushed you right back out. This was the least I could do after you opened your home to me. Besides, I love cooking. And I'm very glad that you all enjoy it so much. Perhaps I should be the official chef for the house, eh?" Laughing, she grinned to Lamia, then nodded to those who had payed her compliments, whether they were spoken or communicated by the intense concentration on the meal. Often, that was compliment enough for the girl.

Robert nodded, smiling to Lamia cordially. "Thank you, Miss Lamia. Everything is splendid. Then again, I would find sleeping in a cardboard box splendid if it would mean remaining close to my mistress. Thankfully, the accomodations in your home are infinitely more comfortable." At the statement Holly blushed a little, focusing a little more on her food.

History: Jareth was abandoned in the woods when he was 6 years old. He learned to survive in the wild and was raised with Mischiefs' mother, Akira. He learned from very early not to trust easily and how to fight for what he needed.When he turned about 15 his pack was attacked and only he and Mishchief survived though barely. While he was unconsios from the fight he and Mischief were taken in by an old lady, Valencia, who brought them both back to health. When Valencia passed on to greater adventures she left her home and land to Jareth.
