Jace flirtatiously teased her a bit. " C'mon cutie pie it ain't that scary in here", he chuckled. He watched Mayhem and Chief sniff around the place a bit. He patted Cheyenne on the head and rubbed his hand around to mess her hair up playfully.

Jace always felt a kind of more than friend connection with Cheyenne, but never really acknowledged it. "Yeah, I really did", he joked. He let go of her head and laughed a bit more until Chief stopped and began barking at something in the shadows of the stairs.

Jace snickered a bit and then tried peeling her off of his arm."Cheyenne it's OK, nothing bad's going to happen to you. Promise", he laughed out loud a bit. Jace walked up to Chief and patted his chest. "What is it boy", he replied to Chief, but he only continued growling, and snarling. Jace began to get serious now. Chief never barked a lot and this concerned Jace.

"I'm a marine", he looked back at her, his blue eyes blazing. He Turned back to Bullet and Chief. "go Chief", he called and Chief went right into the shadows. Chief began scrapping around with something hidden by the darkness, and suddenly Chief was thrown back into the hallway beside them. Chief stood up once more, still growling and baring his fangs. "Good thing you're half wolf huh boy", Jace asked him, petting the scruff on his neck.

Jace ran to Cheyenne."Are you OK ?", he asked concerned about her arm.He took off his undershirt and tore it into bits. He wrapped her arm up to stop the bleeding and then grabbed her and picked her up. "OK let's go", he forced out sternly. He whistled to the dogs and they came bolting out of the house with him and Cheyenne.

" I didn't see the others Cheyenne", he replied hesitantly. Jace knew they had to find the others, but there was something off about that house. He didn't like the aura it gave off and both dogs didn't like it either. He wondered why Mayhem didn't bark though.

Cheyenne looked at him. "We cant leave them.." She shook her head,No matter how bad she hated to say it,She wasnt leaving her sister,Brother and friends in there. She knew they had to go back.

Rayna smiled when Logan stayed back with her and didn't notice when Jamie went in a different direction as them, following Shay. Wow, Logan waited for me, Rayna thought to herself, feeling butterflies flutter in her stomach. She's had a little crush on the boy for a while and this made her heart speed up a bit. Shadows flickered around the vast room they had entered and she finally noticed that they weren't with the group anymore. "Where did everyone go?" she asked in a shaky voice. Jamie walked beside Lashay and glanced around the house. "This might have looked good at one time, but not anymore..." Stumbling around the dark room, he accidentally kicked an old desk that sent a cloud of dust into the air. "Ouch!" he cried, while trying to cover his mouth from the dust.

Jace set Cheyenne on the ground and walked back into the house with Mayhem and Chief. He found Logan and Rayna there by the door as he heard a loud "Ouch" from his mouth. He walked over with the dogs. "Are you guys OK? Cheyenne got scratched up bad but by what i don't know and neither does she", he exclaimed.
