"Mmm." Was all he mumbled, turning his arm to peer at his watch. "Well," Josh said. "Its time I'd be going. Meet me right here tomorrow morning, bright and early.... around 7:00."

Jason frowned. "Did you feel anything weird when he was around us? The scar on my throat burned when he got close to me." He put one hand on his neck, feeling the familiar scar of his death, along with the new ones he got from Sarah biting him. Thinking about it brought back the thirst.

"Perhaps we should hunt before we go back," he said through a scorched throat. His fangs dug into his gums. "Liam's still alive and everything. That could be a problem..."

"Are you calling my life simple?" Sarah said with a sniff, scowling at him.  

Ashlee nodded, "don't be late." she warned. THen she wrapped her wings aroudn herself and vaished in a haze of black smoke.

"Maybe it's because he's the one who killed you." Deomi said with a shrug. She caught the scent of a nearby human and her mouth pooled with candy-sweet venom. She looked aroudn herself and saw the girl. She looked like she was in her early twenties, with long black hair and fair skin. Deomi forced herself to look at the ground, "I-i don't want to kill any more people." she said quietly.

Liam rolled his eyes, "hardly. All I'm saying is your emotions don't tie into who you kill.
 he said.

Jason blinked, swallowing the venom in his mouth. He wondered faintly if it was unhealthy. "It seems unfair to take away someone's future," he said quietly, eyes scanning over various people. "All of them have family, friends, hopes and dreams..."

Josh snorted, walking over to pick up his knife from where he had dropped it. He shoved it into its sheathe and then wrapped his scaly black wings around himself. Like Ashlee, he disappeared in a cloud of black smoke.

Sarah nodded, staring at her hands. She was finding it very hard to keep up a conversation with Liam. "so.." 

Liam looked at the floor, "so." he echoes. How odd, he thought. Alone in a room with a vampire, and his animal instencts weren't fighting to get free. And he wasnt nervous at all.

Deomi nodded, "I'd rather not have to hurt any of them." her voice was quiet and innocent, like a childs, "its not fair that for us to live, they have to die."

Jason swallowed, biting down on his lip gently. "I know," he said, a slight whine in his voice. "but I'm so damn thirsty."

Sarah frowned, eyes shifting towards Liam. She stared at him for a while before saying, "Nice conversation we're having here," 

"Isn't it though?" Liam said with a smile, "just full of interesting topics."

Deomi looked around at the girl again, "aw hell." she muttered. Her muscles were tense as she just watched the girl, her body otherwise unmoving.

"Yeah," Sarah teased. "I'm sure this could carry on for hours."

Jason blinked, eyes focusing on a young boy on the edge of the crowd. "What happens if someone sees up?" he said quietly, biting down on his lip a little harder. 

"They hunt us down." Deomi said quietly, looking at the ground.

Liam chuckled, "yeah, OR we could go do something." He suffersted with a shrug.

"Like what?" Sarah said with a small sigh, glancing out of the nearest window. "I'm sure those two will be home any minute now... and if we leave, won't they be a little worried if we're not here when they get back?"

"Guess we'll have to be careful then," Jason muttered, brushing off the front of his pants. He had to bring his A-game if he wanted to pull this off smoothly. He swallowed slowly and started to approach the boy with a forced smile. 

Liam's smile got bigger, "well theres stuff we could do here." he teased with a wink.

Deomi put on an easy smile and walked up to a boy with an easy smile, "watch and learn." she whispered to Jason as she p*censored*ed. She walked up to the boy with a sway in her hips and a seductive smile on her face. "hey there." she said to him as she p*censored*ed, brushing against him slightly and encouraging him to follow her. As she expected, he did. She tucked some of her long black hair behind one ear, looking back and winking at him before turning into an alley.

This is TOO easy. She thought, mortal boys are too easy to manipulate. She suddenly felt kind of bad for him, he didnt even have a chance. When the boy caught up to her, the smile was back on her face and she was leaning against the side of a wall, "You got a name?" she asked.

"Yeah. Alex, what about you?" he said, standing so close they were brushing together.

"does it matter?" Deomi asked. She put her arms around his neck and he put his hands on her waist. Her blue eyes sparkled misceviously as she stood up on the tips of her toes as if to kiss him.....then she made her move, sinking her sharp fangs into his throat, not giving him a chance to even realise what was happening. The sharp tang of blood filled her mouth, but instead of repelling her, it was the best thing she had ever tasted.

Jason watched as she left, turning his shimmering eyes on a young woman about his age. "Hello Miss," he purred, running a hand through his ruffled hair. "Would a fine young lady like yourself happen to know your way around these parts? I'm new." 

The girl smiled, twirling one brunette curl around her finger. "Where do you live?" she asked. "I could show you the way, if you want." Her brown eyes lingered on his, the friendliness reflected there making Jason's stomach churn.

"I live in that direction," he muttered, pointing towards a close ally way. She nodded and grabbed his hand, leading him there.

"Your hand sure is cold..." she mused as the walls closed around them. "...Hey. This is a dead end. Are you sure we're going the right way?"

Jason pulled her hand towards himself, twirling her to land against his chest. Both wings spread from his sides. "Are you my guardian angel?" she spluttered, eyes wide.

"You could say that," he breathed. Leaning down like he was going to kiss her, he sunk his fangs into her throat, snapping her neck first so she wouldn't have to feel any pain. Instead of disgusted, he was overcome with bliss at the taste of the ruby liquid.

Sarah's eyes slid sideways towards him skeptically. "Give me a good example of what you have in mind," she said, blinking.  

"First you have to not promise to hit, and or kill me." Liam said with a wink.

Deomi Let Alex's now lifeless body rest gently on the ground. Then she started crying. She sank down to her knees beside him. Resting her head in her hands, she sobbed quietly, "I'm so sorry." She whispered. She may have felt terrible, but deep down inside her, she felt insanely powerful. The blood had made her feel more alove than ever before, yet still, she wished she didnt have to kill for the feeling.

Jason let the girl's body drop, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. He could swear the corpse was glaring at him in an accusatory way. Turning his eyes away, he started to wander towards where he had seen Deomi last. He blinked at her with a frown. "What did I tell you about crying?"

"I promise not to seriously injure or kill you." Sarah smirked, wondering what he was going with this. 

Deomi wiped her tearswith the back of her hand, "Can't help it." she said quietly, not even looking up at Jason.

Liam leaned close to Sarah, "Rule number one." he breathed, lips barely an inch form hers, "never trust a vampire." he said before leaning back to his origional spot, "how do I know you're not going to kill me?" he asked with a grin.

 "I've already fed today," Sarah said, glaring at him. Her breathing had picked up when he leaned closer. She started to fiddle with her hair, not looking at him. "and besides, I'm not like most vampires."

"Sure you can," Jason said, smirking. "You just need a little attitude change!" He held out his hand for her to get up. "Come on, lets go get ice cream or something. We may be part vampire, but we still have some other needs." 

Deomi sniffed once before taking Jason's hand and pulling herself up. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, "Ice Cream sounds good." she said quietly.

Liam grinned, "aww did I make the vampire upset?" he asked, noticing the glare she had aimed at him before looking away.

"Yes," Sarah sniffed. "And quit referring to me as 'vampire'. I'm a distinct individual and I prefer not to be..." She paused and searched for the right words. "stereotyped." Turning towards him, she crossed her arms over her chest.

Jason grinned. "Excellent. Though, we might look a little funny eating at the end of November when its this cold..." Blinking, he took a minute to think. "Huh. I can't even feel the cold air anymore. Amazing..." 

"Oh really now?" Liam asked, "And tell me then, what do you cla$$ify me as? A shifter. And the humans are all humans, so its not a stereotype, its a species." he pointed out.

"Ice Cream is good any time of year." Deomi said with a small smile. She looked around, "We are the undead. Cold shouldnt bother us. but jsut in case, I'm going to get a jacket." she said.

"Yeah, but you said that you can't trust a vampire," Sarah argued with him, frowning. "Not all vampires are untrustworthy. Some are really nice people, you know."

"Alright," Jason said. "Want to meet up at the ice cream parlor on Dundas Street? I've got to grab something from my place as well."
