Josh glared at Ashlee and snarled, "Then you can take a picture of him before you kill him." He ran a hand through his shaggy blonde hair. "They've caught onto our plan."

Jason frowned, tossing his ice cream in the trash. "I don't know what we're going to do, then." His hands started to shake slightly. "If they attack us in the middle of public... we'll be exposed."

Sarah walked up to him, pushing his shoulders back so he was laying on the bed. Then she sat ontop of him, smiling down at him. She pinned his arms above his head. "Uncomfortable yet?" she asked. 

"So we Leave." Deomi said. She grabbed Jason's hand and pulled him out the door. She glanced around nervously, "Ahrg." she growled, letting go of Jason's hand and pressing her fingertips to her temples, "the wolf in me wants to escape, and that would be very bad." she said, closing her eyes.

"Not at all." Liam said, a crooked grin on his face, "how about you?" he asked.

"Now you listen and you listen good," Ashlee snarled back, "you watch how you talk to me. I've been around for about two hundred years, and killing is what I do. I will not be talked to like that. And if you don't watch yourself, you will be my target, not them." She said threateningly, "got it?" she glanced back at Deomi and Jason as they left, "and them finding out doesnt mean anything except that we change the plan." she said.

Sarah leaned forwards so her face was slightly closer to his. "How about now?" she said, smiling at him. 

{Imagine Deomi and Jason walking in on them like that. xD Its like, "o3O what the.."}

"You don't scare me," Josh hissed back. He stopped there, dropping the arguement before it could go any further. A sudden thought occurred to him then.

"New game plan," he said, smiling darkly. "You lead on the angel boy; tell him you love him, do whatever you want, but make him trust you enough to get him alone. Then you strike." Josh's eyes danced crazily. "And then the girl will be so enraged that she'll come to avenge him... alone."

Jason frowned at her. "Just take deep breathes and relax..." he said quietly. Blinking a few times, he frowned. Wow, it sounds like I'm guiding her through giving birth or something. He bit back a giggle.

"Nope." Liam said, "care to try again?" he asked.

Ashlee rolled her eyes, "are you dumb?" she asked, "He is aware that me and you are working together. He's not going to fall for me." she said with a shrug, "but the girl. She seems more trusting, you will have better luck trying to win her over." she said.

Deomi clenched her hands into fists, "how can I relax? It's impossible, if I relax, the wolf will get out. Just get me the hell out of here." she said through clenched teeth. She could feel herself beginning to shake.

Sarah smirked, leaning forward again. Their noses were almost touching. She smiled slowly, long fangs shining eerily. "If I didn't know any better I'd say you're actually enjoying this." she purred, ruby eyes sparkling.

Jason nodded, wrapping his arms around her from the back. Closing his eyes, he focused on transporting them to Liam's from porch. "hold on tight," he teased as he wrapped his wings around them, blocking out the view of the street. Opening his eyes again, they were at their destination. 

He let go of Deomi, clearing his throat. "We're here..." 

"Oh you bet I am." Liam said, holding her gaze evenly.

Ashlee snorted, "I'm not into petty wagers, but alright." she said with a shrug, "but whats in it for me if i win?" she asked with a grin,

"I don't want to go in yet." Deomi said quietly, "Sarah makes me a little edgy, and I can smell that she's still here, can we just sit out here for a little while?" she asked. Not waiting for his reply, she sat down on the top step, proppingh er elbows on her knees and placing her head in her hands.

Liam wrapped one arm around her waist, "try it. I dare you." he taunted.

Ashlee laughed quietly, "and if you win?" she asked.

Deomi watched an ant on the ground and just thought about how fragile life is. You never know what moment could be your last, the ant could make it back to its colony, or could be stepped on along the way. Or burned by a kid with a magnifying gl*censored*. nd jsut like that, its life would be gone. She sighed, just like that, her life had been taken as well.....twice. That WOULD be my luck. She thought.

"What're you gonna do if I get off, huh?" Sarah asked, eyes twinkling.

Josh winked seductively. "You'll see."

"Do you really want to get up, wouldnt you rather stay right where you are?" Liam asked.

Ashlee laughed lightly, "you are an intresting person Josh, I'll give you that much." She said, wrapping her wings around herself and vanishing. She went back to her ledge that looked over the city. The sat down at the corner and let her feet dangle over the edge.

Sarah frowned, leaning back so she was sitting upright. "Deomi's outside..." she mumbled. "Perhaps I should go; I'm sure you wouldn't want her walking on us like this..." She shimmied off of Liam, readjusting her shirt.

Josh only smiled coldly, disappearing from where he stood, bat-like wings curled around his body like a scaly shield. Bringing his wings back to his sides, he peered at the girl not far away. So, it had worked. Just picturing Deomi was good enough to transport him to wherever she was. He put on his most upset, depressed face, (which wasn't hard), and wandered closer, like a neglected puppy.

With a sight, Liam nodded, "I suppose you are right." he stood up too, brushing off his shirt to get rid of the wrinkles. He walked to the door, then turned around to lean on the door frame, "you can stay if you want. You're just as welcome here as Deomi is. Besides, you have a lot to teach Deomi and Josh about being vampires." he said with a shrug.

Deomi looked up at Josh, and she got the nervous feeling in her gut again, "what do you want?" she asked, trying unsuccesfully to keep her voice even.

Sarah only shook her head, feeling slightly foolish for letting herself get carried away by her emotions. "They don't want me here," she argued. "I can sense it; neither of them trust me."

"I want to be fixed," Josh said quietly, sliding into a sitting position beside her. "I don't want to be what I am any more. I'm tired of always being... bad." A demon's trademark was lying; they had the ability to utter any word and have it sound believable. Josh, however, seemed to have really embraced this skill and was very good at it.

Jason locked his house behind him, thinking numbly of Deomi's previous words. 'I think I can fix him.' He snorted to himself, annoyed, and turned around. He wondered faintly what to do now; he didn't want to go back to Deomi just yet, but he didn't want to stay alone.  

"But niether of them live here." Liam pointed out.

Deomi looked Josh square in the eye, "how can I trust you? You tried to kill me and kicked me when I was down. Literally." But then again, hadn't she told Jason that she wanted to fix him? "Besides, I wouldn't know how to just fix you. You're not broken. You just are what you are." she said with a shrug.

__

Ashlee looked down, and had to hold back a laugh. She was just a little ways down the street from Jason. She wrapped her wings around herself and vanished in a puff of black smoke, appearing again on a bench alone a little ways down the street. She placed her head in her hands and wept softly, doing her best to look miserable and hoping Jason would see her.

"But neither of them will like it if I do stay," Sarah said, trying to squirm her way out of staying with Liam. If her heart was still beating, it would be pounding in her chest. "Besides, I'm sure you don't want me to stay here. You're just being nice."

"How can you be certain I'm not broken?" Josh said, tilting his head back to stare at the sky. "Perhaps I just put on a very good facade all the time."

Jason blinked, not noticing the girl's wings at first. He didn't recognize Ashlee at all; he'd only got a fleeting glance at her in the ice cream parlor. He sauntered towards the sad young lady, hands shoved in his pockets. "Hey," he said softly. "What the matter?" He sat down next to her.

"Think what you want." Liam said, "but I would personally prefer it more if you stayed." he said.

"Because being broken has more to it than emotions. Its just as physical. she looked down at the ground, "when you are truly broken, you have nothing left. It hurts to breathe, horts to stand, you can't even do anything. Its practically impossible to put on a brave face." she looked over at him with tears in her eyes, "I've been there before. And while you might be hurt, its not something that can just be fixed."

"That Josh kid is what's the matter." Ashlee said with a sniffle, "It's like he chose to be a demon. And he chooses to hurt people."

{ Because. ;c Stuff. }

"And why would you prefer if I stayed?" Sarah asked slowly, unsure of whether or not she wanted the answer.

"It doesn't hurt to try," Josh said, eyes locking onto hers. "Perhaps if you help me, I could return the favor..."

Jason pulled back like he had been electrocuted, sliding down the bench away from her. "You," he hissed. "You're that girl from the ice cream parlor. What do you want?" The hair on the back of his neck stood on end, but he wasn't feeling exactly edgy or in danger. He just felt like he wanted to make her stop crying. He hated it when people cried. 

Liam shrugged, "because I'd like to think of you as a friend if thats okay. And all of my friends are welcome here."

"I don't want anything." Ashlee said quietly, "I didn't even ask you to ask me about anything wither did I?"

"What would you have to offer me that I actually want?" Deomi pointed out.
