Sarah didn't stop moving closer until she was almost chest to chest with Liam, who was about a foot taller than the vampress. Smiling, she grabbed a fistful of his shirt, pulling his face closer to hers. "Yeah," she purred, eyes gleaming. "Thank you."

At first she let her lips brush against his throat, just to tease him, and then kissed him full on the lips.

Josh arched one eyebrow, blonde hair falling over his eyes. "Just a tad," he teased, smiling as she took a bite of his sandwich. "Like it? I'm not a bad chef when I want to be." Smirking, he added, "I'm actually quite good at a lot of things..."

Jason only frowned, shaking his head lightly. "Wouldn't Liam want to know where you've gone? And besides, she won't be in there much longer, I guess." He smiled nervously, as if afraid to say something. "Do you really think Liam would be in there alone with her if she was dangerous?"

((made them cry? HOW?!?! XD))

Liam's hands went to Sarah's waist and he pulled her closer and up onto her toes so he could kiss her easier. How can someone so dangerous be this amazing? He thought. ((fail-post. romance is off for me at teh moment XD))

"Yes." Deomi said with a small laugh, "yes he probably would be there alone with her no matter how dangerous she is. He wasnt our Fearless leader for no reason." she said.

"I'm not much of a believer. You would have to show me." Ashlee said wth a seductive smile. She put the sandwitch down on the small table next to the chair and let one hand play with Josh's hair. She looked in his eyes and her smile became a smirk.

{ I yelled at them to put a cork in it and shove their petty drama up their 'butts' before I'm forced to hospitalize them. }

{ o3o I can be so mean sometimes, when people bully me. }

Sarah, surprised but not disappointed in his reaction, only parted her lips slightly and pressed closer to him. Ripples of pleasure cascaded down her spine, making her shake slightly. How can I be this close to someone, she wondered faintly, and not want to bite them? Then, slowly, her sense of judgement melted away as she focused solely on Liam's arms around her.

Jason only laughed. "Alright, let's go save him then, and tell him that we're going to get ice cream." He winked. "Since we had to throw our's out." Then, as though thinking that through, he frowned and said a little quieter. "Er, if you want to, anyways..."

"I would," Josh said as he gently pushed her off of him. He stood up, not glanced at the sandwich he no longer was craving. "But this is strictly a business relationship." Winking, he stood behind her and grabbed her around the waste, whispering a few charming words in her ear. "Although, if you win our bet, I'm yours to do whatever you please with..."

Deomi nodded and got up, brushing off her jeans and turning toward the door. Without bothering to knock, she walked in. She glanced in the kitchen and saw nobody, same for the living room. She headed for Liam's room and froze, wide eyed.

Liam pulled back from Sarah and looked at Deomi guiltily, feeling his cheeks grow warm.

Ashlee sighed, "Do I really have to wait that long?" She leaned back slightly against his chest, "Or can we just say we both win?" She turned and faced him with a mischievious smile on her lips. She leaned forward andnipped his lower lips playfully, "Either way, we are both happy."

{ what can I say? They deserved it. xD 

Though what I actually said was much less PG and included some words my mother would shun me for using. :o }

Sarah jumped, ruby eyes wide with shock and guilt. "I'll be going now," she said, to no one in particular, as she started to exit the room with the stealth of a puma. However, she was barred from leaving as Jason took residence in the doorway. With a hiss of annoyance and a careful smile plastered on her face, the pretty vampire turned to Deomi, trying not to wear an ex
pression that made her look like she'd been caught killing someone.

"Damn," he said slowly, eyes sparkling only slightly as he teased Liam, intending to annoy Deomi. "You have to teach me how to do that. You've known her what, two hours tops?" He, however, then took a moment to glare reproachfully at Sarah. "Next time be a little wiser in your pickings though.... I wouldn't let a vampire anywhere near my neck."

"Patience is virtue," Josh said, smile cold and unwavering. He loved to draw things out slowly, torturous, as to make it more fun for himself. "Besides, you never eat your dessert before your dinner." He winked.

Deomi felt a slight pang of jealousy, but pushed it aside, she flashed a small smile at Sarah, but it quickly disappeared when Liam glared at Jason.

Liam growled low in his throat, "Wiser in my pickings? I'm sorry my last girlfriend died." He glanced at Deomi, pain in his eyes, "twice." Then his attention went back to Jason, "I'd be slightly more careful what you say. Sarah may have some control over herself, but my patience is wearing thin today." he said.

Ashlee snickered, "Patience?" she sighed, taking a step back, "fine, if I have to be." She turned and walked into the kitchen and immeadeately began to rummage though the fridge, "so you got anything good here?" she asked.

"I usually eat out," Josh said absentmindedly, waving a hand in the air dismissively. "So I doubt you'll find anything good in there. I hardly even sleep here anymore." He chuckled, standing up as he stretched out.

Jason's eyes simmered quietly. "Try dying yourself," he hissed, taking a step backwards through the doorway. "Maybe then you'll see why I don't trust her." He turned and disappeared, not saying a word to Deomi. Perhaps they'd have to push their date back to another date.

Sarah bit down on her lip, smoothing down her shirt uncomfortably. "He's right you know," she mumbled, inching towards the door. "I've been here too long. It's getting late." She followed Jason out, and started towards her own house. Her eyes were focused on the sun setting in the distance. 

Ashlee groaned, "so not only are you not letting me get what I want, but you're starving me too? You are a very sick, twisted person." she said with a smile.

Deomi glanced at Liam apologetically, then turned to follow Jason. She did her best to hide her wings, but knew that every now and again they would appear for a moment. I hate all this confusion, She thought angrily. Spotting Jason, her anger faded, "Hey! Wait up!" she called.

Liam growled angrily and closed his eyes. Why am I loosing my temper so fast these days? He wondered, forcing himself to calm down. It wasnt this bad since when he was a kid, just learning of his powers. He leaned against the door frame and sighed, opening his eyes again, wishing Sarah would come back, but knowing she wouldnt. He wondered vaguely if he would ever even see her again, but pushed all thoughts of her from his mind suddenly. Why did it even matter? After all, she was a vampire...

"Mmm. What a nice thing to say," Josh said, chuckling. "Here, why don't we have dinner somewhere else then. Devil forbid I starve you to death." He rolled his eyes. "Where do you want to go?"

Jason turned to stare at Deomi, eyes black and unreadable. His mouth was pressed into a thin line as if he were debating on something. Then his wings snapped from his sides, wrapping around his body as he disappeared with only a thin wisp of shimmering silver smoke to mark where he'd been standing. He didn't feel like talking to her right now. He wanted to wait for his anger to fade. He wasn't the same person when he was angry; and he didn't want Deomi to see that. 

Ashlee shrugged, "take me somewhere fun." She said, "somewhere with loud music, and colds drinks." she said with a wink.

Deomi stared at the spot where Jason has vanished. Her eyes flashed angrily for a second, but then it became hurt. She sighed and kept walking forward, head bowed and hands in her pockets. She knew she couldnt go home, the police were likely at her appartment, because of the fire. She hoped they would think that her body burned in the fire and she was dead, that would solve most of her problems. Except that all of her things were still at her apartment. Damn.

 Josh's amused smile was charming, but his mind was on things other than Ashlee. It was on the large quantities of alcohol he was planning to consume as he always did, to drown any bad memories from his mind and ignore whatever was bothering him at the moment. He always had some alcohol in his system; Josh's addiction would be life-threatening, if he hadn't been immortal. Without alcohol in his body, he would go into cardiac arrest. 

"Alright, let's go, if you're done making yourself look pretty. And try not to kill anyone; I've got a lot of business partners in here." He wrinkled up his nose, as he always did when he caught his first whiff of the night of the crowded bar. He could smell everything from shifters, vampires, angels and demons, all the scents mingling with the reek of beer and cigarettes.
