Josh smiled. "Alright; let's get going, then. The longer we stay here, the long we're in trouble."

"Guess so," Sarah mused. "Good thing my schedule is clear, then; we've got all night." 

Liam smirked, "And I don't think we will have any visitors, its just you and me." he said.

"i feel kinda bad." Ashlee said, shaking her head, "he will go after Jason and Deomi, hes taking my job." she said with a sigh.

Josh crossed his arms over his chest, met with the urge to reach out and comfort Ashlee. He ignored it. "I'm sure he'll be preoccupied with us," he said, not really helping the situation. "After all, we're the ones who stabbed him." Again, he thought of his pretty black knife, which he'd left behind at the restaraunt.

Sarah bit down gently on her lower lip, glancing up at Liam through her lashes. "I like the sound of that." 

Ashlee laughed softly, "well I at least kept my knife." she said wtih a smile. She pulled out her dagger, its diamond-studded handle gimmering. Suddenly a black smoke surrounded it and kept shifting its shape. With a quick scream, Ashlee dropped it. But what clattered to the floor was not her pretty dagger, but a very lethal-looking sword. The sheath was the same color that the dagger had been, completel with its Diamonds and saphires.

Ashlee reached down and picked up the sword and unsheathed the long, dark silver blade. her eyes were wide wtih shock, the sword was perfect, and it felt like she had been wielding it forever. She looked over at Josh, "so much for a Dagger." she said in a nervous whisper.

Liam took his hand away from Sarah and moved it to her waist, pulling her sligtly closer without saying a word.

Deomi sipped on her newly bought lemonade and wondered how long until she saw Jason again. She looked around her and dropped the sweet, fruity drink she was holding and a scared squeak escaped her lips. Trembling in fear, she let her wings appear, not caring who saw and thrust herself into the air, landing on top of a building and looking down.

An Archangel. he hadent seen her yet, but Deomi knew that he probably sensed her. She ignored the screams and people who were staring up at her. She was staring at the gelden-winged angel. She saw him begin to turn his head in her direction, and that was all the prompting she needed. Turning away from the ledge, she ran as fast as she could, and jumped when she got to the edge of the rooftop, landing crouched on the next building over.

She didn't want to fly, it would give away where she was. She made her wings vansish, and took of running again, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, adrenaline pumping. She was glad for the extra strength and speed beign part vampire had given her, that was one advantage she had over the Archangel, and she was makign full us of it.

"You'll get used to that," Josh said with a half-hearted grin, looking wistfully at Ashlee's sword. "If you will it to, actually, you can make it change back; it's easy." Then he frowned, eyebrows knitting together as he thought. "Hmm. I wonder if you can summon it on command? Like, think of it, and it shows up in your hand or something. Kind of like how we teleport."

So Josh tried it. He closed his eyes and thought, long and hard, about his knife. Only when he felt something appear in his hand did he open his eyes and look down. He was holding his favourite dagger, with it's black blade and silver handle. "Okay. Awesome. It works."

Sarah pulled away from him as they approached his car. She pulled on the pas senger door handle, but it was locked. One eyebrow raised, she glanced at Liam with a smirk. "Mind unlocking the door?" 

Liam only unlocked his door, got in and looked at Sarah though the window with a smile, "whats the magic word?" he teased, putting the key in the ignition and starting the car. He revved the engine once, and it roared powerfully.

"I think I Like it like this, but its harder to hide." Ashlee thought about her dagger, and smiled when the sword became her Dagger again, which she slid into the sheath hidden in her jeans.

Deomi came to a stop when she ran out of buildings. She was at the park. As gracefully as possible, she jumped over the edge of the building into the small alley. She cautiosly walked out of the alley and into the park, "where are you Jaosn" she wondered out loud.

"Close enough." Liam said with a shrug, hitting the unlock button.

Ashlee nodded in agreement, then walked out the door, she looked back at Josh, "you know, you look very....intresting in a tux that has a ripped sleve." she noted with a light laugh.

Deomi was shaking lightly, now that the adrenaline had worn off, the fear had set in, and she couldnt stop the silent tears that had formed in her eyes, she opened her mouth to speak, but couldnt quite find iny words to say.

Liam laughed softly, and peeled out of the parking lot faster than he probably should have, "and the perfect rest of the day with me." he said, glancing at her quickly.

Deomi sniffed lightly, holding Jason as tightly as possible wihtout causing any harm, "theres an Archangel here! What if he wants to take me back to heaven? Or Worse! Send us to hell!" She looked up at him with terrified blue eyes, "I can't go back to heaven, I don't belong there." she said. And she definately didnt want to go to hell.

"I don't have anything against that." she said with a smile. Then she looked out at the street, toward the stoplight, which was currently red, but turning green soon ,"alright pick a car." she said, looking at the line of traffic.

"You're welcome." Liam replied without much thought. Wtih his free hand, he absentmindedly stroked her hair. He hardly noticed he was speeding until he heard the magic sounds. A police siren. He lightly pushed sarah away and turned to look out the back window. Cursing under his breath, he accelerated more, "I can't get bested in this car. Its got no plates, its stolen, and on top of that, I don't have a license." he said, weaving expertly through traffic.

"where would we go?" Deomi asked quietly, "we don't have any money. How are we going to get anywhere?" she didn't question that she wanted to go away wtih Jason, that sounded better than heaven, and if it were under other circumstances, she prouple would have been jittery with exitement.

Ashlee shrugged, "works for me as long as you're driving." she said, "first off, I'm from before cars were invented, and I don't really like them, and second, I'd never be caught driving something that..." she searched for a word, "middle-adged-mom." She said, flipping her hair over her shoulder, "but lets jsut get this over wtih, that light is going to change soon."

Sarah blinked, uttering a small curse. "Liam..." she muttered, glancing at him with a frightened ex
pression. "Liam, be careful." If they were to crash, she wouldn't be injured in the slightest; it was Liam she was scared of getting hurt. He had a heartbeat, he breathed, he was alive... he was still almost human. More than her, anyways. He could break bones, bruise, bleed and suffer... And she didn't like that one bit.

"Middle-aged-mom will help us blend in," Josh growled, pulling on the handle; whoever had left the car outside had left it unlocked. With a grin, he motioned for her to get in after pressing the 'unlock' button. "We can't exactly leave town in a bright red jaguar or anything, you know." After hijacking the car, he revved the engine experimentally. "Hmm. It'll do."

LIam kept glancing in the rear view mirror, his car quickly accelerating, "safetly isnt my main concern right now." he said, pulling the e-brake and doing a complete 180. He headed back tward the cop and ginned at the stunned officer as he flew by. He weaved masterfully through oncoming traffic, and as soon as he couldm he turned sharp, heading for the outskirts of town.

"its not me I'm worried about." Deom replied, blue eyes still watery, "I don't want to lose you." not when I feel this spark between us. She thought. She had been in love with Liam as a martal, but that had been nothing compared to this. It felt like a childhood crush.

Ashlee grimanced, but got in anyway, "I'm so glad i will never age again." she said, shaking her head and shutting the door, "okay, lets get ourselves out of here."

((I say the Archangel stops them, and Jason and Deomi come to the rescue and save their sorry butts XD))

{ I think that the Archangel should find Jason/Deomi, and Liam and Sarah come and help. xD Cause then Jason and Liam would get all pissed at each other over the 'I can protect her and you cant' thing. 8DDD /hasnolife}

"I don't want you to get hurt though," Sarah said quietly, touching one hand on his arm gently. His skin burned under her icy palm. She swallowed, chest feeling heavy. "I-I'm kind of scared," she admitted with a frown.

"There will always be other men, Deomi," he said softly, unable to look at her anymore. "You'd be surprised at how easily I can be forgotten." He let her hand drop, his arms hanging at his sides. "Any boy crazy enough to fall for you is fine by me." He blinked, thinking numbly to himself, I must be downright insane, then.

Josh floored it, surprised when the car actually gained a reasonable amount of speed. He swerved through traffic expertly, as if he'd been doing it his entire life. "Where is our destination?" he asked her with his famous smirk. "I don't want to drive too far, or stop too soon."
