"Dont be." Liam said confidently, looking away form the road for a split second to look at her. His skin had goose bumps where she touched it. His focus went back to the road, "I'm not that fragile, besides, I heal faster than a human." He shrugged, taking another sharp coner, and nearly lost control of the car when the force pushed Sarah into him, "you might want to put a seat belt on if you're not already wearing one." he said, getting the car steered straight. He noticed that their were less cars around, and less buildings. He was reaching the outskirts of town. He pushed the car for more speed, and even the sired behind them was getting fainter.

Deomi's ex
pression turned bitter and she pushed herself away from him, "I don't jsut forget. I don't know what kind of girls you've met in the past, but I'm not like them, I couldnt forget you if I tried." she said, jaw clenched tightly.

Ashlee leaned back in the seat, "hmmm." She thought, "how about we drive until we find some place to crash, say, a barn or something like that."

Sarah nodded, strapping herself in with wide eyes. "You can't heal yourself if your dead," she mumbled, knowing full well that he could hear her. "Where are we going?" she asked, glancing around them. "Surely we aren't going to leave the city? How long will we be gone?"

Jason smiled faintly at her for only a moment. Deomi's spirit and attitude is what had drawn him towards her in the first place, along with her alluring black wings and pretty face. "Deomi, you're not like anyone I've ever met, or ever will meet. In this life or the next." His throat burned, making it hard to speak. "I just don't want you to... linger, if something does happen to me. I like to be forgotten. I like to disappear."

"A barn?" Josh inquired, one eyebrow raised. "How romantic, Ashlee. Really, you have quite the taste." With a chuckle, he realized he was still half-dressed in his formal attire. Driving with his knees, he carefully removed his shirt and tossed it out the window. "Much better,"

"Just long enough to lose the cops, then we will head back, I promise." Liam replied. Losing the cops shouldnt be too hard, he was already putting distance between them. The adrenaline was pumping through his veins, but he felt at ease, confident in his driving.

((He should crash XD, like, hit the Archangel, his car would do an awesome flip thing, and he would be injured, but not killed. It would be EPIC XD))

Deomi shook her head, "I like more permanent things." she looked around nervously, "we are wasting time, lets go somewhere. Anywhere but here."

Ashlee looked at Josh out of the corner of her eye, "well, its that or we take someones house. And killing any innocents will draw too much attention to our situation." she pointed out.

Sarah nodded. "Alright." she said, pressing her cheek against the window of the car. "Let's hope you loose the cops soon, then." She enjoyed the speed, being with Liam, but the thing she didn't enjoy was being out in open space; where nobody was, where nobody can hear the screams of innocent people dying. Like Liam, for example, if he were to get even the slightest papercut right now. She wanted to be surrounded by buildings and pollution again.

Jason nodded, only grabbing Deomi's wrist for fear that any other contact may bring up his thirst again. He wrapped his wings around himself, not her, knowing full well that she'd come with him anyways. When he opened his eyes, he was standing on a sandy beach, sky dyed a drak indigo. Why was it night time? He couldn't remember what he had been thinking of.

"Oh, hush," Josh muttered, rolling his eyes. "I was only poking fun. We'll stop as soon as we find somewhere to stay, I promise." He glanced sideways at her for a moment. "You look tired; you should take a nap or something."

Liam laughed and drifted around onother corner, "I can't see them anymore, but they will follow me around this turn>" he thought out loud. The road was surriousned by trees, but there was a small hunter's trail....the challenger could fit, he smoothly turend in and followed the trail into the woods, looking in the rearview mirror, he ould no longer see the road. He stopped and put the car in park.

"Whoo." Liam said with a smark, "now that was a rush." he let go of the steering wheel when he heard the police sirens go by the trail without slowing down.

Deomi looked around, wondering where she was. The warm night air was a huge contrast to the cool autumn air of the city. The waves lapped gently against the shore and Doemi couldnt help but smile, "how pretty." she said quietly, looking up at the star splattered sky.

Ashlee snorted, "as if I could actually sleep!" she scoffed, "today was entirely too stressful." she shook her head, "when will life just be simple again? Sitting on sandy beaches with a cold drink in my hand." she mimes leaning back in a beach chair and holding a drink.

Sarah glanced around them, ignoring Liam. "Where are we?" she whispered, opening the car door. She stepped out of the car, hand still on the open door, mouth pressed into a thin line. God, she hated forests. Or anything that resembled them, anyways.

"I wonder where we are," Jason murmured softly, staring longingly at the water. He wanted nothing more to wash away his worries, but knew that would hardly be appropriate at the moment. "It's so warm here." He bent down, sifting his fingers through the sand. It had a silky feel to it.

"Ah, but our beach will be there when we come back from our little 'trip'." Josh said, dark eyes on the road, not Ashlee. "So just relax, and at least to try and get a little sleep. We're nowhere near a barn yet, mon amour."

"not a clue." Liam replied, getting out of the car and leaning against it, looking over the top at Sarah, "but the cops are gone." he said with a shrug. He turned his head and looked at teh calm, quiet forest. He hated how eerie they sometimes seemedwhen there were no birds making noise.

With a contented sigh, Deomi sat down in the sand and set hur purse in her lap, "now's as good of a time as any." she said, pulling out her bottle of Vodka. She looked at the clear liquid for a moment before unscrewing the cap and taking a swig. She almost coughed at teh bitter taste, but it made her feel warm almost instantly.

With a sigh, Ashlee rested her head on the headrest and closed her eyes, "I dont think I can sleep. I have too much energy." she said. She realised she was complaining like a little kid, but didn't really care.

Liam gave ehr a confused look, "alright," he said, getting back in the car, "lets go then." he started the car quickly.((FAIL XD))

Deomi stared at Jason with a slightly offended look, "you are going in the water without me?" she pounted, taking another small drink from the bottle, "at least my vodka cares." she teased, holding the bottle close.

Ashlee looked atthe barn and wrinkled her nose, "man I wish we didnt have to leave the city, I would love to stay in my nice warm bad about now." she pounted.

Liam put the car in reverse and drove out of the woods, "so why the hurry to leave?" he asked once he was back on the road and heading back toward the city.

Deomi too kanother swig of the vodka, "vodka waits for no one!" she said in a heavy russian accent. But she stood up and took off her tee shirt, to reveal a skin-tight tank top underneath, "there, took my shirt off. happy?" she teased.

"Id rather sleep in the hay." Ashlee groaned.

Liam shrugged, "whatever I guess." he said with a sigh. He turned on the radio, but kept it low. The song Feel That Fire by Dierks Bently played through the speakers, and Liam began to quietly sing along "She needs to feel that fire. The one that lets her know for sure, shes everything I want and more. Real desire, yeah she knows I'd walk alone out on a wire, to make her feel that fire."

Deomi raised an eyebrow, "I'll come in the water, once you come out here and have a drink with me." she said, corssing her arms over her chest.

"well if i sleep there, where will you sleep?" Ashlee asked.((FAIL XDXDXD))

"Lighten up a little." Liam said quietly, "I know you're thinking about the past, but thats just what it is, past. Its over and done with, no snese looking back on it now." he said with a shrug.

Deomi pouted some more, "but I mix great with alcohol." she said, then smiled, "but what we need is some music." she said with a small laugh.

Ashlee shrugged, "the pas.senger seat reclines more." she pointed out, "or you could always sleep here by me, if you want." she suggested.

Sarah decided, instantly, that she wanted to tell Liam about it. If it was 'just the past' to him, that meant he wouldn't care, right? "Do you want to know?" she whispered, looking sideways at him, keeping tabs on his expressions. "Do you want to know why I can't go near that place without flipping out anymore, Liam?"

"If I had my iPod on me, that wouldn't be a problem," Jason grinned. "Now, get your little butt in here before you get too drunk; it'll be no fun swimming if I have to keep you from drowning."

Josh smiled. "That sounds perfect," he said, pushing a strand of blonde hair out of his face. "But it's not dark yet. We can stay here, or we can go and explore the area on foot a little bit, if you want."

Liam looked over at her, not bothering to watch the road, it was basically empty, "yes, actually, I would love to know why you made us leave the peace and quiet behind." he said back.

Deomi rolled her eyes and sighed, she bit her lip and quickly slid her jeans off, so they wouldnt get wet, she put them by her shirt, then wtih a nervous glace at Jason, she pulled off her tank-top too. Her bra and panties were like a swimsuit right? She vaugly remembered eing mortal and having to be careful about what she ate, so that she wouldnt have a muffin-top. She recalled hours in the gym keeping her body tone, and was grateful for it, because it would have been near impossible for her to get rid of it as an angel, since her looks were hard to change.

Not giving herself much time to think about it, she walked into the water until it was up to her waist, "happy?" she asked with a smirk.

Ashlee smiled, "thats a great idea! I havent been out of the city in a while." ((FAIL XD))
