"you were a boy scout?" Ashlee made a face at Josh, "I wouldnt picture you as the boy-scout type."

Deomi thought for a moment, "which also means, I CAN'T DROWN! so I left behind my vodka for NOTHING!" ((D: face XD)) She walked further out, closer to jason, the dipped under the water to her her hair wet. She loved the way that the long, loose waves jsut seemed to get longer when they were wet.

Liam's grip tightened on the steering wheel and he looked back at the road, "how could someon just leave behind someone else like that?" he said, growling quitly, "Is he still alive today?" he asked, not bothering to hide the anger in his voice.

Deomi rolled her eyes again, then splashed him, "thanks a lot." she said, dunking her head underwater and opening her eyes. She expected the salt water to burn her eyes, but everything was clear and vibrant. the moonlight made the water a aqua blue and she couldnt help but smile.

Ashlee raised an eyebrow, "don't trip yourself now." she teased.

"how can you not blame him?" Liam snarled, "he could have at least cecked to see if you were alive. I would never, ever just leave behind someone who was dying like that. He better hope, if he IS alive, that he never comes back around here." Liam said. It was wiered how angry he had gotten so quickly, how defensice of Sarah, how...protective.

Liam sighed and forced himself to relax, "No guarantees that if he shows up I will just let it slide. Thats all I'm saying." he looked back over at her, "besdies, you didn't BUYthe clothes." he said in a halfhearted attempt to tease her.

Ashlee stumbled backward over-dramatically, "what if I did fall?" she asked, stopping in mid 'fall' "would you feel bad?" she started walking again.

__

Deomi looked out further into the water, her hair was flowing in front of her face, and she felt like a mermaid. She swam deeper and suddenly stopped when she saw a large fish swimming lazily in the water.

The shark paid her no mind, and Deomi couldnt resist swimming closer, using her wings to help her keep up. It shied away momentarily at her touch, but soon got used to it. She wrapped ehr hands around its fin and held on as it pulled her easily though the water. She smiled at Jason as she went past, and probably would have been laughing, if not for the whole underwater-thing.

Liam's attention went back to the road. Someone was standing in the middle of it. And there was no way he could stop before he got there. He slammed on the brakes, "what the hell! Move!" he cursed, but still tried his best to avoid the person.

Then his car struck him, but enstead of knocking him down and killing him, he stood completely still. The front of the car crrushed around his dogy, and the back end went up in the air. once the car was at a vertical angle, Liam suddenly saw the persons golden wings. He clenched his teeth to keep from crying out in pain, the force of impact was enough to crush a mortal. The car continued its frontflip, and although it seemed to take forever, it was only a fer moments before the car was upside down on the other side of the angel.

Liam coughed once, cleaing his lungs of engine smoke. His entire body was in pain, and the shattered windshield had caused a large gash in his cheek. He tired to slide out of his seat, but it was hard, seen as how the car had completely flippd over. Once free of the seatbelt, he creashed onto the roof of the car, flipping himself over so he was right side up. He touched the cut on his cheek, looked at the blood, then looked over at Sarah.

"the difference between you and me," Ashlee began, "is I wouldnt feel bad!" she teased, pushing him over onto a mossy patch of soft-looking ground. What she didnt plan on was her foot getting tangled on a tree root, she tripped along with him and landed on top of him, blushing fiercely.

Giving the shark one final pat, she pushed herself toward the surface, as soon as she reached im she breathed in the sweet, warm night air. For the moment, there was nowhere she would rather be. Using her wings like a raft, she floated on her back, looking up at the stary sky. The bright moonlight and stars had given the sky a dark, blue-violet hue, and Deomi had a faint smile playing across her lips just looking up at it thinking. Thinking about life. Thinking about her lost family. Thinking about her friends. Thinking about Jason.

Liam pulled himself out of the car and as soon as the smell of the angel's blood hit him, he couldnt hold back his instincts anymore. He Cried out it pain, with quickly became a mangled yelp as he fell forward onto his paws. Shaking his head violently, he tried to straighten his thoughts.

Whining low in his throat, the big silver wolf took a step back from Sarah. He was still in pain, and finaly looked over at his car, which looked more like a heap of jet black scrapmetal. But for the moment, he didnt care. He shook of the remains of hsi tattered clothing and growled at Sarah, fur bristling.

His ears were pressed against his skull and he shoved Sarah away from the angel, hoping that she could get control of her bloodlust. He knew his wounds had stopped bleeding, in fact, the gash on his face had almost healed. ((I cant let her kill the angel....yet XD)) He growled loudly, staring directly into her eyes.

Aglee giggled softly, "no, not exactly." she said. She loved the feeling of his arms around her, and couldnt help herself. She had to kiss him. Lowering her face slightly, she pressed her lips lightly to his. After a moment, she pulled her face away, "rule number one." she breathed, "never ask for a kiss." she said with a small smile.

"Why not?" Deom asked, "what else could we possibly need?" Blood. The thought crossed her mind, but she pushed it away. Her mind was still slightly fuzzy from the Vodka, but still, she didnt want the thought of murder to ruin her mood.....too late.

{ Wasn't gonna make her kill him. xD That'd ruin all the fun!! }

Sarah snarled at him, eyes blank and emotionless. Her mouth, cheeks, and even her hair had blood smeared all over, and it was dripping off her chin as if she had been drinking golden paint. "Mooveee," she hissed, body dropping into a crouch as she prepared to lunge at Liam. The more she drank, the more she was under control, and she'd just gotten enough of the Angel's blood in her system to gain a little bit of control of her actions. Sarah held back as best she could, willing herself not to attack him. Her finger nails dug into the cement, gouging deep wounds in the rock as if it were play-doh.

Josh's eyes darkened, his smile fading away. Even though his lips tingled, he pushed her off of himself carefully, sitting upright. He stared past her, as if she weren't there, gaze searching the forest for something. Something clicked in the back of his mind, distantly, but he paid it no attention. "Thought I saw something," he lied, glancing back at her. "Sorry."

"We cannot hide from our fears forever," Jason replied calmly, eyes moving back to Deomi. "Eventually everything will catch up to us... and we can always return here again, and visit this little chunk of paradise whenever we need a little alone time."

Liam bared his teeth and shook his head. As a wolf, he was almost as tall as Sarah, and his sharp teeth were definately stong enough to tear her apart, not like he ever would. He continued to stare into her eyes, hoping she would gain control soon. He was feeling almost better from the accident, but was it still caused him pain to move a lot.

Deomi sighed, "well lets not go back just yet." she said, closing her eyes, "not when I feel this good."

__

Ashlee stood up and brushed the dirt off of her clothes, "what happened to our walk?" she asked with a faint smile, offering her hand to help him to his feet. She was actually offended deep down that he didn't kiss her back, but she definately wasnt going to let it show.

Liam perked his ears and looked in the direction Sarah had disappeared to, then turned to look at the Archangel. He slwoly backed away, then turned and began to make his way back to the city.

"When the sun comes up." Deomi said, "We will go home then." she opened her eyes again and looked over at Jason, "is that okay?"

Ashlee brusehd the dirt off of her jeans, "Fine by me." she said with a shrug, turning and walking back to her car. ((UGHHH fail XD))

"Then lets go back to the beach." Deomi said lazily. She pushed herself toward the beach slowly, using her wings. She was sill on her pack, just so she wouldnt have to look away from The sky, or Jason.

Ashlee rolled her eyes and climbed into the backseat of the car, "Night." she said over her shoulder. She curled up in a little ball on the seat and closed her eyes. For the twentieth time that night, she wished she were at home in her nice, warm, bed.

__

Liam was human before his feet touched the floor of his room. He landed in a crouch, then got up and went over to his dresser. He wreched the drawed open angrily, grabbing out some clothes, "If I wreck any more clothes today, so help me god I will hurt someone." he snarled to no one in particular.

Liam was pulling his shirt over his head when he heard sarahs voice and he froze for a moment. The sound of her voice made his gut wrench, the wolf still remembering all to clearly the scene from not too long ago. He inhaled deeply and finished pulling his shirt on before daring to even look toward Sarah, "Easier said than done." he said, voice void of emotion. He wasnt sure what he felt at that moment. Happy she was here? Definately. Nervous being around her? Hell yeah. Mad about the car? So mad there wasnt even words. Scared he would lose control? He didnt even want to think about it.

Deomi sighed, "well theres not much we can do about that except pray that he wasnt after us." she said dryly, all hints of her buzz seeming to fade. As soon as she thought she could, she let her feet touch the bottom and began to walk back toward shore.

Sarah moved her gaze towards him, eyes still flooded with tears. "We could give it a shot," she argued quietly, biting down on her lower lip. "I-it doesn't hurt to try." But, in the back of her mind, she reckognised that sometimes trying does hurt. She wanted to ask him if he was mad at her, but couldn't seem to get the words out.

"Praying," Jason scoffed, a dark look in his eyes. "As if that has ever helped anyone." He waded through the water as soon as he could touch the bottom, collapsing into the sand as soon as he was a little ways away from the water. It stuck to his wet skin and hair. 

Deomi sighed and sat down in the sand beside him, "but praying never hurt anyhting did it?" she asked, "I think its what gotme into heaven after all the bad I've done."

Liam laughed darkly, "how w do you know? Its hurting me right now." he was shaking, "every part of me is trying to hurt you. Making me want to kill you and its hurting me in return." he looked up at her and his hatred and self-loathing was reflected in his eyes, "I don't want to hurt you." he said in a hoars whisper.
