"Somebody is feeling rather bossy today,"  Jason teased with a snort. "But alright, if you say so.."

{ I found a robin with a broken wing on my way home today, so I brought it home and put it in my old hamster cage. ;-; I named her Nova. We're bringing her to a shelter thing tomorrow.

And then my sister found an injured woodpecker, who she named Twitchy, and he's having a ceizure or something and I feel so bad. D: }

"Good, now I'm going to go take my shower if you don't mind. Then we are leaving." she started to walk away, and when she got to the hallway she truned and smiled sa$$sily, "And unlike you, I leave the door unlocked intentionally." she teased with a wink before turning back and hading for the bathroom.

Jason rolled his eyes, opening the cupboard that was next to the stove. Behind a stack of plates there was a stash of cookies, chips, and chocolate. He unwrapped a Hershey's Cookies N' Cream bar and nibbled at it while he waited for her to finished showering.

Ashlee pulled into the parking lot of a gas station and exhaled loudly, "well. We're alive if that counts for much!" she said, shaking her head. She still didn't like the car much, but she hadn't gotten in an accident, and actually was suprised with her driving.

Deomi finished compbing through her hair with her hands as the last of the fog faded from the mirror. She wiped away the last smudges of her makeup and was glad they were going shopping. She would pick up some makeup and some other basic necessities while she was there, like something for her hair. SHe definately needed good shampoo. Her raven-black hair fell back in place and she gave herself a once over in the mirror. There was still a think line of Eyesliner that she hadn't washed off on purpose, but other than that, her face was devoid of makeup, not like she wore much anyway.

Her faded, ripped up jeans were low slung, just like she liked, and her tank-top showed just a little of her belly, which is why she usually wore a teeshirt over it and usually her sweater, but she had left the teeshirt in the dryer earlier, so she decided it wasnt necessary. With a sigh, she realised she looked almost completely human, a perfect human, but still mostly like one. Then she closed her eyes for a second, wishing she still was, but when she opened her eyes, her black wings had appeared behind her back. She wiped a silent tear from her cheek, then turned and finally walked out into the hallway, trying to shake some of the moisture from her hair.

Jason wanted to ob
ject, but instead he set his wrapper on the kitchen table and got up, intending to follow her. "Lead the way, then," he mused as he ran a hand through his ruffled black and white hair. He always wished he could remove the barcode tattoo on his left wrist or wash the dye out of his naturally brown hair. But death made everything permanent. He was just thankful he hadn't died while he still had that horrid haircut he'd received in third grade.

"I think that's a good plan," Josh grinned. He was craving a hot shower and a warm bed, but said nothing and looked around them. "Hm. Do you see anywhere to eat?" 

Deomi smiled and grabbed his subconciouisly and dragged him out the door after her. The moment she stepped outside, her black wings vanished in a shimer of silver. She looked at his hair, "I wonder what would happen if we tryed bleaching your hair." she wondered out loud, "I think you'd make an intresting blonde." Her mind wandered slightly, "do you think we could cut my hair?" she asked, "I mean, it hasnt grown at all since I died, so what would happen if I cut it?"

"Mmmmm." Ashlee said, "Gas station food! I'd kill for a doughnut about now." she said wiht a smirk, sauntering toward the gas station. A teenage boy stared at her from his car and she winker flirtaciously at him, then let her horns and wings show for a minute and did her best to look demonic. She couldnt help but laugh as he jumped and went back to filling up his car with gas.

Deomi sighed, "well, i suppose i could get a haircut every day forever!" she said with a laugh, "and people can tell you to get one for the rest of forever." she teased, ruffling his hair lightly.

Ashlee smirked, "aww what a good boy, obeying that law and whatnot." she skipped through the doors that made a light ding when they opened. She wandered around the store and grabbed a bag of chips, two chocolate coverd doughnuts, two red bulls, and some of the Spark+ drinks((Its like a monster, but alcoholic XD my uncle Dave the Butterfly Man loves them) which she stealthily hid inside her purse. She paid for the rest of their stuff and sauntered back out, "we should really get you a shirt." she said to Josh as she p*censored*ed, "I don't need any mortal girls staring too long, they might go blind." she said, getting in the pas.senger side, "of course, they are more likely to get a black eye, but thats not the point."

Deomi froze in her tracks, "oh. My. God." If you had a breard, i would never speak to you again." she said, starting to walk again.

Ashlee rolled ehr eyes, "someones full of themselves." she muttered, "What would you say if I started walking around with no shirt on everywhere?"

"The feeling is mutual," Jason teased, grinning. "Where are you taking me, anyways?"

"I'd enjoy that quite a bit," Josh replied, glancing sideways at her as he pulled onto the road. "Though, the other boys around here wouldn't make out very well. And I'm sure that's probably against the law."  

Ashlee nodded, "its public indecency. But I'm pretty sure as long as the cop is a guy, I could get away with it." she said, grabbing one of the Spark+ from ehr purse and popping it open. She took a swig, "Ah. Now thats what I'm tlaking about!' She glanced at Josh, "I'd offer you some, but your driving." she said before taking another drink.

"we are going to the mall. I'm hoping to charm them out of some clothes. Then we are going to the grocery store to get some food. Them I'm thinking I'm going to make you a real dinner." Deomi said, tossing her hair over her shoulder.
