"Hmmm," Thomas hummed gently. "I'm Thomas. It's nice to meet you," he said with a brilliant smile. Putting his hand up he waved over the waitress and spoke to her quickly. "Two hot coffees please," he murmured gently.

Blushing, the brunette hurried away with a slight swagger to her walk, bottom shaking ever so slightly. "Shameful," Thomas sniffed disdainfully at the sight, and turned his attention back to Deomi.

"You don't mind me ordering for you, right?" he asked gently.

"Mmm, I am, in a way," Anaxa agreed, giving the panda a strange look. "Fleas are disgusting," she finally said after a few moments, lifting one paw up to scratch her ear gently. "But I'm usually free of them. So if you don't mind, I'd rather not catch any new ones."

She tried to say it gently, but gentle was Anaxa's style and it came out more like a snobby rich girl acting stuck-up. I need to work on my tone of voice, Anaxa thought gloomily.

"And why not?" he asked. "Did you scare them off?" he asked in a teasing voice, tapping the table with one long forefinger thoughtfully. "Or perhaps your beauty simply stunned them to a point in which they felt like they had no chance with you," he murmured in a soft tone.

"Fine," Rosa sniffed, taking offense. "Then I won't take any chances." She got to her paws, shaking out her pelt. "Maybe I'll see you around after I get rid of my fleas." Turning around, she started back down the tree with a hurt glance at Anaxa.

Josh walked up to Sarah, arching his eyebrows at her. "Hello beautiful," he purred seductively. "That's your name, right?" He wrapped one arm around her shoulders, which she shrugged off. He only laughed.

Sarah frowned, walking quickly to the first attractive male she saw, who happened to be Liam. She leaned over and hissed into his ear, "Pretend to be my boyfriend for two minutes, please? There's some creep following me." She smiled and leaned back, taking hold of his hand carefully.

That's weird. His hand is warm. Nothing has felt warm to me since I was human...

Josh sauntered over to Liam and Sarah with a frown.

Jason turned around, blinking as he saw Deomi turning her eyes back onto Thomas. Had she been looking at him? No. He strode up to the human waitress, asking for a table politely. When she pointed to one across the courtyard from the other two, he nodded and sat down, smiling when she placed a coffee in front of him.

"It's not flattery when it's true," he purred gently, feeling a sort of pa-ssion well up in him that he hadn't felt ever since he had turned to the dark side. Dark side, he thought with a laugh. How...cliche.

Glancing over at the waitress, who was arriving at the table, he grasped the two hot mugs and nodded at her graciously. "Now shoo," he said with a smile.

"Here you go, Deomi," he said, placing the two scalding cups on the table. One in front of her and one in front of him, both steaming gently and sending out a faint mocha scent.

Liam glanced at Sarah with a somewhat shocked ex
pression, then over at Josh. He did his best to act casual. He raised one eyebrow skptically at Josh, as if daring him to hit on Sarah. He let go of her hand and slid one arm possesively around her waist, as it seemed like something he would more likely do if she were his girlfriend. He sucessfully hid his confusion, lying was never something he needed help doing.((fail XD poor Liam is so confused))

Groaning in frustration at her mistake Anaxa streaked down the tree after the red panda and skidded to a stop as she nearly ran full tilt into the winged boy, letting out a high-pitched shriek of surprise.

"What the hell are you doing in my way!" she yelled angrily, though it wouldn't make difference. A screaming mongoose would be scooped up as quickly as she could bat an eye and be slammed into the animal control center.

"Welcome. Hmm...do you know that boy over there? He's been watching us intently for a few minutes," he asked quietly, leaning in so the boy wouldn't hear. He could feel the demonic rage that he usually kept hidden rise at the sight of one like him, even if he was only half demonic. The other half enraged all the same.

Devils and Angels, fight to the death, he thought, remembering it from some far away place he had once visited. Oh yes, above the mantal of the main room of my house, no...my parent's house.

"No, and I'm glad I don't, Say, do you believe in the mythical beings of the otherworld? Such as angels and demons?" He said this languidly, lifting an eyebrow at her as he leaned back into his chair, mug in hand.

Sipping it delicately he watched her movements carefully, wondering if he would understand what he meant.

"Really? What a coincedence, so do I," he purred in a soft voice, blue eyes watching her intently. "Such a small world, no?"

He leaned back and took another swallow of coffee.
