Jason, hearing stronger, heard the invitation. He walked into the house, a chattering vampire trailing after him. She seemed to be singing along to something that blared from her iPod. He nodded at them, as a greeting, and smiled.

"I'm sure we all have some questions," he said, carefully avoiding Deomi's eyes. He was bad at cheering people up. Especially girls. "First off: How do you two know each other?"

Sarah followed him in, standing next to Liam in silence. She turned the volume down on her iPod just enough so she could hear the conversation. She avoided brushing against him or meeting his eyes. A gentle smile was frozen on her lips. 

Liam crossed his arms and looked at the ground, "As you can probably guess, me and Deomi aren't the only shifters in this city. Not all of us are wolves, but we are still dangerous. Most of us decided it was safer to travel together. So we formed gangs of sorts. We were more dangerous then human gangs, but not enirely violent. Me and Deomi were part of the same gang."

"We were partners," Doemi cut in, "Since it was risky to travel alone because of the other gangs, clans as we prefered to call ourselves, we all traveled in smaller groups everywhere we went. There were seven members in our group, Liam, Shelby, Jerome, Kevin, Layce, Adam and myself. Since we were wolves, we were leaders, just a rule of our gangs."

Liam looked up from the ground, "about two years ago, there was a gang war. It was unexpected, and we lost most of our gang. They were our family. Deomi's human family happened to get killed too, out of spite. They attacked us while we were at Deomi's anual family barbeque."

"Shelby, Jerome, and I doed that day." Deomi whispered quietly.

"I lost my best friend, and the rest of my group." Liam finished, "we have all dispanded since then. Living wherever we so choose."

Sarah murmured, "Wow.. I'm so sorry... That must really bite.. no pun intended." 

Jason blinked sadly, rubbing his throat with one hand absentmindedly. "That guy that tried to burn us all earlier," he said. "Josh..." He frowned gently, as if thinking. "He killed me for the money in my pockets. Slit my throat on the corner of Chestnut Street and Valen Avenue." He stared at Deomi for a minute, thinking to himself.

"So, when you were alive, you two were.... close?" He worded it carefully.

Why is it the same as my previous post? D: } 

Deomi felt her face grow warm as she blushed. While she was alive, her and Liam HAD been a thing, never anything official, but they had been kind of together. She avoided answering the last question, and was grateful when Liam said something.

"So the Josh guy killed you, but who killed him?" Liam asked.

Liam nodded, "so that's why he's a Demon then. So what are we going to do about him? we cant just let him roam free, what if he kills someone else?"

((should i bring in a Demon girl? XD))

Deomi nodded in agreement, "but I would feel right killing him," she said, "it must be the angel in me, but I think we should try and help him change."

{ Why would you do that? To get Jason all flustered? XDD }

Jason just barely held back a loud laugh. Josh, change? "When pigs fly," he said stubbornly. "This is the guy who just tried to burn us to death in a library we're talking about. I think he's quiet happy being evil."

Deomi shot his a dirty glare, "people change." she snarled, "it happens. Do you think i was always a perfect little angel in my life? Hell no. I Changed, he might too." she said, full of determination.

Jason only frowned, glaring at her with hostile eyes. The next question burst from his lips before he could hold it in. "Then why are your wings black?" His cheeks burned red hot as his eyes dropped to his feet. "Er- Uh-"

Deomi was struck for a moment with shock. Then her eyes grew cold and hostile, "want to know why my wings are black? Do you really? I wasnt a bad person, but I have killed before. I've KILLED PEOPLE! They offered me a place in heaven as long as I promise to be a good little angel, but thats not me. I didn't belong there. i deserved to burn in hell. But hell didnt want me, and I didnt want heaven, so they threw me outof heavens gate. I fell to earth and the closer I got to the human race, the darker my wings got. They have been turned black by sin. Happy? Is that the answer you were looking for?" she hadn't realised it, but tears were streaming from her eyes.

Ashlee was perched on the edge of a building in a gargoyle-like pose, watching the humans go about their day. Her wings were folded against her back and her hand was at her waist, instinctively hovering over her dagger, In case someone came from behind her.

Josh smiled, a cold emotion on his cold face. "What are you looking at?" he purred, eyes fixed on the dagger he was twirling in one hand. Its blade was stained with Deomi's blood. He stood behind Ashlee calmly, relaxed, as if he didn't expect her to act violently.

Jason's lip curled back in a snarl. His voice was quick and harsh like a whip. "At least you had a choice." His wings unfurled, one white and one black. He ran a hand over the ebony feathers of his left wing. "This wasn't even my doing." Snapping them back against his sides, he turned on his heal and started to storm away. His black and white hair hung in his face.

Sarah, silent up until now, mumbled, "Somebody has his panties tied up in a bunch." 

Ashlee spun around and pushed Josh up against the side of a small shack on the roof, "Didn't you're mother ever tell you not to sneak up on people?" she snarled, pressing the blade of her dagger against his throat, hard enoug to cause pain, but not quite hard enough to break the skin.

A feral snarl escaped Deomi's throat as she took off after Jason. When she cought up she pushed him as herd as she could, "A Choice?! You think I had a choice? I didnt deserve heaven, I wasnt going to take what I didnt deserve. I'm sorry I have some moral in me." she bared her Vampire fangs, "And if I REALLY had achoice. do you think I'd want to get murdered? Do you really think I would have left a great guy like Liam by choice?"

Liam ran a hand through his hair, "oh great," he said, "Now Jason's got her mad. Good luck calming her down."
