( I know. ) Charlotte, not thinking for another second, wrapped her arms around Derek's neck and pressed herself against him. Heat flooded through her like an avalanche. She kissed him back pas sionately, closing her eyes as a flash of pleasure danced down her spine. She was shorter than Derek, so she had to stand on the tips of her toes.

Her breathing was heavy, and she couldn't help but crack a small, hopeful smile. "I don't hate you," she panted. "Obviously."

( I'll make Jace wake up then. o3o; ) Jace lifted his head slightly, a pounding headache blocking any thoughts he might have had. HE blinked hazily at Erin, a small smirk forming on his face. "Still sleeping?" he pondered quietly, pushing his chair backwards so he could stand up. At first, he staggered, but he caught himself of the table and managed to remain upright. "Standing up; not a good idea," he mumbled to himself as his head ache was increased a gnotch in strength. He peered into the kitchen, shaking his head. "This is the last time I drink," he said, stumbling through the door. He leaned over the sink, turned on the cold water and splashed some on in his face in an attempt to wake himself up. Everything around him seemed to be spinning. _____________ Charlotte smiled. "Nothing, actually. Just thinking." her voice was modest.
