Erin huffed slightly, raising an eyebrow at him. "'No problem'? Rather, I couldn't move." She replied, smirking.
She moved to the side slightly as he hauled himself onto the dock, dripping wet. She didn't notice when he pulled his shirt back on- at least, she tried not to notice. Instead she stared determinedly ahead, watching the waves with a serene ex
pression.
That is, until she felt herself being sprayed with salt water. Erin raised her hands, as if to ward them off, grinning and laughing. "Hey, keep in mind that I'm still dry." She protested. Then she peeked at him from behind her hands, still smiling.
"Good dog." She said teasingly, placing her hand on his head as the wind blew his hair around. "Unfortunately I don't have any treats for you."

Josh smirked, winking at her. "A finger or toe will do." He chuckled lightly, staring past the waves. His gaze rested on the horizon, where he always stared, and he let his mind slip into those wonderful fantasies he kept dreaming up on the spot for some reason. He wondered faintly what Prince Charming was doing; making out with that other girl, or just sitting at home drinking, or crying because his girlfriend ditched him to hang out with a werewolf. A wry smile formed on Josh's lips, and he successfully bit back a laugh. He glanced at Erin from the corner of his eye. She was small and pale, nearly chalk white. on the other hand, he was tall, muscular and deeply tanned. And majorly Spanish. His eyes flickered to the moon for only a moment. The only time it was beautiful to him, was when it was full. And even then, he didn't have much time to marvell it.

Erin withdrew her hands, smirking at him. "No way, I need these. I'll get you a hard candy or something." She turned her gaze to the pale, glowing moon once more, and yawned quietly. Damn, I'm getting tired. She thought, resting her chin on her knees. Her eyelids flickered close for a moment before she silently forced them back open.
She eyed Josh but didn't say anything, content to stay silent. She felt thankful that he had seemed to accept her company; that very morning, he had been telling her to stay away from him.
I wonder what made him change his mind. She thought, her head tilting as she began to doze off again.
You can't fall asleep outside in the middle of the night, Erin. She reminded herself faintly. With Josh right beside her, though, it was hard to feel like she would be in danger.
Within moments, she was sleeping, although the only thing that gave any indication of that- without looking at her- was her slowed breathing.

(( Gotta go to bed. o3o )) Josh, seeing a chance, pulled her carefully into his arms without waking her. "There," he mumbled. "Now you aren't cold." His eyes focused back on the horizon, smirking a little to himself. He muttered into Erin's ear, even though she was sleeping and probably couldn't hear him, "When I'm gone and to you I seem far, look to the sky. Because we all see the same stars." He moved a strand of hair out of her face, smiling gently. Then Josh leaned against a post, hair ruffled (not that he really care), and started to hum quietly to himself. It was a low, spanish lullaby his mother had taught him before she pas sed on. No tlong after, he drifted to sleep, Erin still in his arms.

Salt. Charlotte's nose picked up the scent before she felt the chilly air blowing off the gentle waves. Her eyes reflected the tide, making it a mysterious baby blue. She glanced up at Derek, one side of her mouth curving up in a smile. Her heart was pounding like a drum. The rythme flowed through her, making her body feel like she'd placed her hand on a live wire. Suddenly the cold midnight air had no effect on her at all as she held on tightly to Derek's hand. He's all she would ever need. She felt indescribable as her feet sunk into the pale, wash-out sand.

Derek smiled at her, sitting in the sand. Since he had her hand, He towed her down with him. He smiled at he beach, he had only beed here twice, but it had naver been this... magical.

Charlotte smiled, heart beating fast, and sat beside him. Her hand was hot and clammy, but she didn't want to let go of his hand. Her eyes met his for a moment before she leaned her head against his shoulder. She closed her eyes, and tried not to fall asleep. She succeeded. (( o3o ))

Charlotte nodded, and laid down with him. Her head rested on his shoulder, and one hand was set on his chest, just above his heart. "Night..." she mumbled, eyes closing again. Drowiness won it's battle, and she was whisked away into the land of dreams.
