Jacob held out his marble-hard hand to help Tera up.

Seth roled over.

Josh squeezed her hand.

Tera grabbed it and stood up. She blushed.

Alice closed her eyes. It was a pretty day. She wanted to act like nothing had ever happened. The sun was warm, and it wasn't cold for once.  

Jacob blurted out suddenly, "Tera, why were you in the forest the day I met you? I don't think you ever told me .. "

Seth snored.

Josh chuckled at his own thoughts. 

Tera's eyes clouded suddenly. "I..I was running."

Alice looked at him. "What?" 

"Running from what, Love?"

Josh shook the hair out of his face, "Oh nothing."

Alice looked at him. "Please tell me?"

Tera blushed. "I..it was somebody who was out to get me."

Josh smiled, "You'll have to wait until you see the cabin."

Jacob growled, "Who and Why? I swear I'll ring their necks .. " he cut off, imbaras.sed.

Alice looked puzzled.

Tera giggled lightly. "I didn't know them." 

Jacob snorted. "But still, WHY?"

Josh chuckled, "You'll see." He opened the door, and showed Alice the interior. Everything was destroyed except the couch.

Tera thought hard. "I can't remember," she said.

"Oh my god! What happened?" 

"oh..."

Josh frowned, "I got pissed off."

Tera frowned. "Sorry.."

"Why?" 

Josh shuffled his feet and looked down.

"It's okay Tera." Jacob sighed.

Alice stared at him. "I won't be mad...," she promised lightly.

Tera nodded. "I just don't like thinking about it." 

Jacob nodded. "I understand." 

Josh didn't respond.

Alice sighed. "Josh..just tell me.."

Tera smiled. "Thanks." 

Jacob grinned back.

Josh muttered, "I acctually don't know..."

Alice blinked. "Okay," she said stepping in around the mess.
