Jacob started to laugh. Josh glared at him. "What's so funny?" he hissed. Jacob continued to laugh, "He likes spaghetti, and when I call him little buddy. He's also a werewolf, and I'm a vampire. Isn't life odd?" Josh stared at him, but chuckled lightly, "Sure is."

Seth wandered ahead, picking the brightest flowers among the garden. Occasionally he would rush back to them, showing them an exceptionally beautiful flower, but besides that, Josh just stood there. Watching their son.
