Kira took another step forward and looked the dog called Parker over. "Ah, what is your name, Leaderdog?" she asked, looking back at Diamonds. She turned to Parker and began licking his back. "I'm sure you already know this, but licking the wound helps to stop blood from flowing from it. Which is something we need to do quickly..." she added quietly. Kira gently nudged Parker. "How far do you think you can you walk?" She slowly lifted her head, her nostrils flaring. There were scavengers nearby. |

Diamonds looked down at Parker & watcher the Kira clean his wounds. "My name is Diamonds" she answered rather quickly, tending to smaller wounds on his side. When the she wolf lifted her head Diamonds knew something was wrong by the ex
pression on her face. "What's wrong?" asked Diamonds, sniffing the air. Everything smelt the same to her: wild, moist & fridgid.

Kira looked at Diamonds, her ex
pression serious. "Something smelled the struggle," she answered. "I can't tell what... maybe nothing more than ravens. But there's always the chance that it's something bigger."

Neo arrived with a large Blacktail deer, and saw this stranger and placed the carca.ss infront of the pack. "Who are you?" he said cautiously to the wolf. Neo's leg shuddered and gave out, Neo crashed to the snowy landscape. he cried out in pain for a few seconds, pain rushed through his front right leg.

Kira rushed to the new dog's side and nudged his right foreleg with her nose. "My name is Kira. There's no time to explain. ...This isn't good," she murmured, panic making her body stiffen. "Did you leave a blood trail?" she asked the injured dog.

Danger leaped out of another snow mound, he face inches from Kira's "HEY!" she said enthusiasically "IM DANGER" she wagged her tail like crazy and took a step back, smiling ear to ear. Parker sighed, the licking on his wounds felt good, they didnt hurt quite as much he looked at his hyper-active sister and smiled slightly

Neo whined in agony, "No, my other wounds were too caked with blood to leak anymore" Neo panted, keeping back another agonized whine as his forelimb became hot with pain and infection. "Im Neo by the way" Neo could feel blood rushing through his arm as it throbbed, sending waves of immense heat upwards. "My arm, It burns" he whinced painfully

Kira smiled at Danger, then leaned forward and touched her nose to the hyper young female's. "You have a strong spirit, little one. We'll need that." She turned back to Neo and met his red eyes. "Lie down, Neo," she said softly. "Try not to think about the pain. She leaned her head down and licked his arm, then looked at Diamonds, worry filling her eyes. Neo lied down, as soon as his head rested upon the ground he fell into a comatose-like slumber, Nightmares lurked within his mind. That same burning sensation migrated to his brain, his mind was heating up, the snow only making the sensation a bit less. His paw still throbbed immensley. He thrashed about, slamming his wounded paw against the the ground triggering his body to jerk to a stop. Pain traveled up his spine to his head. His mind was now ablaze, burning with such an intensity the burning felt like someone had doused his brain in gasoline and held a burning match to it.

Danger smiled more, still "YES!" she said happily "I am NEEDED, hear that, Parker??" she got in her brother's face and grinned, laughing Parker looked away for a moment "Yeah, yeah" he grinned and tackled her as the 2 sled dogs rolled around in the snow and played

Diamonds looked to her team mates still standing & determined that only 3 of them were still able. Danger seemed fine, just a few bruises, Neo was unscathed & she was exhausted, but could still fight. 'Only three of us, Neo, Danger & myself' she answered, looking back to the wolf. 'What's out there?' she asked nervously.
