Silvie obliged and allowed herself to be dragged out. Her eyes were to the ground but she heard the voice of the least likely person she would like to see. Her head whipped up, her eyes in a ferocious glare. "You." she snapped in a menacing hiss. Her wand withdrawn in a matter of moments and her pace advancing so her wand was at his neck. Her stance strong and dangerous.
Draco grimaced at Silv's words and aggressive tactics. Same old Silv. He glanced at Melanie and glared, "I know she is." he whispered under his breath. "Listen Silv. I-"
"Shut your mouth, Malfoy." Silvie growled, digging the ashwood into the flesh of his neck.
Draco gulped but closed his eyes, opening them in a few extra moments then needed. "Let me speak." he stated in an expressionless tone.
Silvie narrowed her eyes and allowed her grip on the wand to slip as she pulled it back into her sleeve. "Talk." she growled.
"Listen, Silv. I know that I am a jerk. I know that I can get on your nerves. I know I can be-"
"Insensitive, overbearing, decieving, inconsiderate, lazy, impolite, aggressive, overego..." her list continued for several moments. Her voice was icy, and hard like she wanted Draco to fear her voice.
Draco trembled once at her words but nodded his head. "Thank you for the clarification, Miss Leigh." he grumbled..."But yes. I can be all those things and more." he watched Silvie's eyes soften and knew she was listening. "Truth is, you are one of, no THE, most extrordinary witch I have ever met. I could talk about your physical looks... skin so flawless and hair that falls perfectly on your shoulders..."
Silvie rolled her eyes, yeah, you use the same excuse to make me calm down; oh you're so beautiful blah blah blah. Silvie thought in a harsh glare.
"BUT!"
...but? What is this?
"...You have the most admirable traits, your heart and mind are different, and impossible to trace; I love how I never can expect your actions. You're smart and strong. You know who you are, and no matter who tries, they can never change you. You're independant and a figure one would see in a dream..." he paused, "But when you loose your temper you are a figure in one of the most frightening nightmares." he stiffled a humorless laugh. "But if I saw you in a dream, I wouldn't want to wake up." he said in a lower tone.
This made Silvie momentarily forget her anger, but it came back as she returned another harsh glare.
"Melanie is right. You are better then me. I dont know... its just... I know how brilliant you are, and I am protective...knowing you could choose someone else, anytime you want, to be beside instead of...me." he swallowed, staring into her emerald green eyes. He watched the pupils widen, and felt his lips curl into a smile. Not a fake smile. A real smile.
"Oh.my.god." Silvie mused alloud, her voice still having a trace of venom. "...you were jealous...?" she whispered. Draco didnt anwser her, but she knew. She knew it was true.
Draco finally spoke. "That locket you have around your neck. The one I gave you in our third year. You wear it everyday, and that's how I know you are still my girl." he smiled and cocked his head. "And I know these are just two words...but I'm so sorry, Silv." his voice was sincere throughout the entire conversation.
Silvie shook her head and felt a smile widen across her face as she ran into Draco's unexpecting arms and kissed his cheek. "Apology accepted. But now you got to prove your words are true." she stated, releasing him and turning abruptly, disappearing back into the bathroom.
