Actually let me start again. It seems that upon closer inspection the hills are not alive nor are they in anyway musical. They may be mystical hills but that doesn't mean that they are musical too. But enough about these hills. It's the rest of your terrain that you need to familiarize yourself with, although the hills may hold importance. One must not forget the hills! Anyway I'm babbling again.....Your current environment is a harsh one. It seems like you have been caught up in some sort of tornado and transported to the realm of Oz.....Nope still the wrong place.
You are not in Oz and you did not get here by a tornado. It seems that you cannot remember how you got here. You seem to have forgotten a lot by the look of you. I would give you a mirror but I don't think that is possible.
Now back to the matter at hand. You are in a foreign land and that's about all you know. Well that some personal details of course, like your name and age. But as far as anyone knows, you have no history and possibly no future if you are not up to measure. On that note I would like some details about yourself if you would not mind. Now that I have that information about you I will tell you about your terrain. Like I was going too at the start. There are small clearings dotted around a large forest. To the West of the forest are the hills, they look like small mountains but even smaller. Then to the East of the forest are the mountains. Now don't be fooled by them. They are not giant hills and they will be hard to climb, you will need a dragon. To the South of the forest is the great lake. It supplies all of the land with fresh water and fish. Did I mention there was a whole ton of streams running through the forest and over the hills? To the North of the forest you will find the dragon caves. You will need to befriend one or maybe two if you're greedy.
By the way before you go I need to tell you something. Someone you will meet will be able to send you home and give you back your memories. But first they need to deem you worthy. If you follow these rules you may just do that:

::I have been alive this many years:: I lost count after 2000, but my human form looks around 20 or so.
::I assume that I look like this:: Well, in this reflective pool, I look quite masculine, although I am not entirely sure if I am actually male. I could be female for all know since I have no defining features. I guess for now I will consider myself a him, though that could change. In this form, which seems to be animalistic is large and lean. I have a mane that flickers like flame, but doesn't emit heat. My body is brown, but my cloven hooves seem to be pitch black. My tail is made of the same strange fire as my mane. Protruding from my forehead, forward and between my ears, there is a majestic black horn.
As far as I can remember, my human form also doesn't seem to have much of a gender. I am flat chested, but there isn't anything that proves I am male, so that's interesting. My long, pony-tailed hair is coal black and my skin is as pale as moonlight. On my forehead is a strange, faded black marking in the shape of a star. I do have ears in my human form, which is quite strange and they look out of place on my perfectly normal body.
::These are all of the cool powers I have:: I can shapeshift from my true form to a facade human form. I also seem to be able to control fire in my human form and shoot flames from my body and horn in my true form. My eyes change depending on the mood I'm in.
::I think I may act like this:: I'm not entirely sure how I act. It's been so long since I have interacted with another being that it's hard for me to even speak to myself. Of course, I can still talk to others, that much is evident by all the talking to animals I do while in human form. But in that form I can't understand them, so I have no idea what they were saying. Ah well. I guess I love my solitude, but I do yearn for a friend. I haven't had one in 1000 years or so.
::I noticed this about my terrain:: The Sound of Music can be heard from a strange emerald green church on the hill that looks like it belongs in The Wizard of Oz.

After looking at my face in a small pool of water I can see that I have light green eyes and white hair, it is dirty though. Although I already knew my hair was white because it's long enough for me to see. My hair is long enough to touch my elbows and it is curly. If I look down at myself I can see that I am wearing a pair of blue jeans, a black backless shirt and a deep red jacket. My feet seem to be bare and covered in dirt, much like the rest of me. I also have red ribbons tied around my neck and wrists. The red jacket feels uncomfortable against what seem to be my wings. I know I should keep them hidden though. Something might go wrong if I don't.

I have short and uneven red hair. I know this because of the picture I found in my coat pocket. I have the ears and tail of a fox and my eyes are a deep crimson colour. My ears and tail are deep orange in colouration and have light cream tips. On my hands I wear a pair of black gloves, matching my black coat, jeans and shoes. My shirt is however a deep shade of red, almost like blood. Upon my head I'm wearing a black fedora, hiding my ears. My coat is long enough to hide my tail. I also have a pair of sun glasses perched on top of my hat it seems.
My pockets seem to be filled with small gems and crystals. The people in the picture I hold seem to be fading. However they are they must have been important to me. I seem to be fighting to get one of them back.

I have messy medium length red hair that ends at the base of my neck. My eyes are a deep green in the light and in the dark they seem to be much lighter. Upon further inspection of my eyes in the dark it seems that they glow. I appear to be slightly tall but I do not know what I am comparing myself too. I will have to see if I am tall compared to other people. Around my neck I have a tag of some sort, although it is not an animal tag. My tongue is like a normal tongue. Pinkish.

Kff, you think I keep count? Judging by the state of my knees and the structure of my face, I assume I'm somewhere between my late twenties and early thirties.

Well, I'm lean, my hair's black.... No. Actually, it's just a really dark shade of blue.... it's tangled and ends somewhere around my mid back. I found a puddle a while back and my eyes seem to be pale teal, the reflection was a bit murky though. My ears are pointed at the tips and I have two V shaped nicks missing from my left one. I'm wearing a pair of black cargo pants, a dark teal shirt with a black waistcoat over the top and a worn pair of fingerless gloves. I've also got a long coat made of black velvet, it's slightly tattered at the edges but it's warm. I've got a dark teal scarf too, and a mask. Hey, shut up! I get cold easily, okay?! The mask appears to be eleven made, Drincoran elves are great at making other animal faces to put over ape ones, almost a perfect up-sized replica of the real beast, fur and all. It's a black feline with the build of a house cat, except for the ears, they've got tufts of fur at the tips like a caracals.

I can shift into a lean black cat with the same tufted ears of my mask and long tufts of guard hairs around my chest, cheeks, shoulders and the base of my tail. And I have some darn powerful telepathy skills.

I can't stand to be bored and I'm probably impatient too. Seriously. I'm about to strangle something. I imagine that I can be pretty selfish and irritable at times. What's the point of doing something for someone if I don't get anything in return? Also stubborn. I'm definitely a stubborn one. Ugh, just the thought of following orders like a mindless dog ruffles my hackles!
