Madison flexed her hand accidentally, causing it to bleed freely. She cursed some made-up word, and tore off a strip of fabric from her shirt with her left hand. She held onto one end and wrapped it around her right palm, tightly so that it would stem the bleeding.
Once she was certain it was usable again, Madison got up and shook off her wet feet before walking over to the fire. She smelt the fish and her mouth started to water hungrily. She wondered how long it would take before they were cooked. Madison noticed that Lilly wasn't as far away from her as before, so she glared at her, and asked bluntly, "So what's yer name then?" |

Too many people! Amur thought, her face twisting into a grimace. Her eyes darted around as she attempted to find a place to go to, anywhere but here with all these creatures. "So... what are you, then? Since we all seem to be different." Amur asked Caitlyn, still letting her eyes gaze around to see if there was any place to shelter for the night. Her gaze turned to the sky which was quickly grown dark and she shivered.

"let's build a tent", she looked at Madison and lily. "we have a fire but we should also build some type of shelter", she looked at the vegetation surronding them. She had never seen any plants like them. She grabbed one of the huge leaves, "these look pretty big". She grabbed a couple more and started looking for some sticks. She found some and grabbed them happily, "perhaps we could make a shelter out of these". She started lifting up the leaves and balanced them with the sticks. "what do you think these leaves could have come from?", she said. "they look pretty big". She looked at them at sat underneath the tent. I'm going to catch some more fish. She started spearing some more fish, "looks like we're all hungry, just wait for the fish to cook". She sat down and watched the fish cook, she hadn't realized she was so hungry.

Madison laughed and tested the name on her tongue, "Lilly, silly... Silly Lilly! Ye'r silly, Lilly!" Her accent made it sound more like 'Lilleh'. Madison giggled for a few moments more, and then calmed herself down She looked back at the fish, and turned the stick they were skewered onto. The less cooked side of the fish made a delightful sizzling noise as it came into contact with the flame.
She turned to look at the leaves Sonali had found. "My guess is tha' they're from the trees," she answered, and pointed up at the giant trees surrounding them. Sure enough, this species of tree appeared to grow very large leaves on the lower branches, and slightly smaller ones in the top.
Madison got up from her seated position by the fire to try and catch some fish with Sonali. I mean, if she could do it, so could Madison, right? Madison picked up a branch from the dirt and snapped it, making a sharp point on the end. She pulled apart two sides of the tip to make it two--pronged, and tested the feel of it in her hand.
Once she was satisfied, she decided to give it a try. She spotted a fat salmon and waded into the water. She brought the spear down, but the salmon was too quick. She tried again, with a different fish. And again. And again. But every time she tried, the fish got away. Deciding to try a different method Madison stood still until a fish swam leisurely by her. Instead of slamming the spear down with her arm, this time she threw it at the fish, that was a few meters away. It missed again.
Madi grunted, and became increasingly more annoyed that she couldn't catch a single fish. The next fish she saw, she dived in after it, trying to grab it with her hands. She felt it's slippery back, but it wriggled free before she could get a proper grip. She let out a loud cry of defeat and anger before whipping her head around to glare at Sonali.
"'Ow come you can catch fish bu' I can't?" she said grudgingly, and folded her arms across her chest like a sulking child, "I mean, yeh catch one every time! An' I can't even catch one!"

Ebony cursed and stuffed her hands into her pockets. Great! Ugh, I guess I'll just have to amuse myself until I find someone that knows. She though irritably, then flicked her third eyelids over her eyes and immediately cheered up at the thought of the new creature beside her. "What are you? I'm an aramuk, if you must know before answering." She clamped her jaws together there to stop the flow of questions.

"here try my sword", she handed the sword to Madison. "it might be easier to use this". She looked at the trees above them, "hmm, I hadn't realized those were there". She went back over to the fire and added more fish on the stick. "they should be done in a little while". She looked at the pond and stuck her hand in the water. She waded into the water and looked at all the fish. She walked back out of the water and watched to see if Madison was having any luck catching fish, it would be a lot easier to catch fish with the sword. She smiled and waved her hand in the water. "are you having any luck?", she sat down next to Madison and looked at her. She liked gazing at the stars, maybe she could sit down by the pond and look at them when it was dark enough.

She did this and she did that, you could say:
While doing this, she did that.
Just a suggestion. Sorry.))

My ipad's kind of old so I'm sorry for any incorrect grammar and "she did this" type of thing. Normally I don't make these kind of mistakes.)

Madison took the sword from Sonali, mumbling a half-hearted 'Thank you,' and poised in the water, waiting for any fish to come into her sights. She waited about half a minute before a trout-like fish came swimming past. She pushed the sword down into the water where the fish was, but caught nothing but the bottom of the stream. She tried again, with a bigger fish, and grazed it with the flat of the blade, but she was still unsuccessful.
She frowned and plunged the sword down on another fish with frustration. Fortunately for the fish, but annoyingly for her, it slid away just in time. Madison screamed through her closed lips, making a sort of muffled groaning sound. When Sonali asked her if she was having any luck, Madison held up the clean sword to show her, and replied, "Wha' d'you think? They're way too bloody fast!" |

Lilly watched Madison and Sonali with a small amount of interest, "I think you are better off using some sort of net." she said pointing at the stream, "And then wading through the water to herd them into it."
