Aiden ran a hand through his hair casually, pinching out the cigarette with his two fingers and finally meeting her eye to eye. "I'm Aiden." He said, watching a few others as they ventured out, eyeing him curiously. A few gawked at him, but were quickly stopped by whispering friends, once hopefuls too. He didn't trust anyone- typical of a fallen angel. It explained his Lone Wolf attitude, because he went out of his way to separate himself from everyone else.
The wind picked up again, snow starting to fall in small drifts from the sky. He raised his eyes up to the source, the gray sky stretched out above them. Swiftly, he bent over to pick up his black pea coat that was slung over the top of his school bags, dark against the falling white flakes.
Raising an eyebrow at her bare arms, Aiden wordlessly draped the jacket over her shoulders, wrapping his scarf around his neck. "Cold?" He said, watching her cheeks starting to turn rosy from the icy climate of the outside.

Aria smiled, amused at the fact that he thought she was cold. She understood why he would think that. She could feel her cheeks turning red, but that was for a different reason... Yet she made no move to take the jacket off. "Actually," she said, "I don't get cold." Then she frowned. "I wish I did though." She knew that to anyone else that she would seem crazy, but she didn't really care. She sat down by him, still a good distance away though. She didn't know what had driven her to come over to him and be so bold... and that confused her. She was aalways shy and quiet, never really putting herself out there or communicating much. And yet here she was, talking to a complete stranger about one thing she kept hidden from everyone. She thought that maybe she was finally starting to trust people again.
"So, I assume you're not going to tell me what you are?" she looked over at him and smiled.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because its unfamiliar territory.

Aiden shrugged. "Fallen angel." He said simply, watching the people inside the cafeteria get up from the tables and mill back up to class, the large room emptying soon. "Class is starting." He said, striding off with his headphones in his ears.
Aiden was a little late to class, but that was alright. The teacher barely noticed him as he sat down, already full speed ahead in his lesson. People started standing up one by one, their over summer book reports in their hands. Resting his hand in his palm, he turned the music up louder.

Aria sighed as the bell rang for class. She started walking towards the door inside when the weirdest thing happened. She shivered. Although it was not from the cold, it was still satisfying. She walked inside and headed toward hernext class. Aiden was a fallen angel. She had never met one of those before. She walked into he class unnoticed by the teacher. She made her way to an open desk and found that everyone was working on an assignment. She started to work on it but soon stopped. She layed her head down on the desk and started to drift off. The teacher saw her though and walked over. "Miss Aria!" She yelled. "Do you think you are actually going to sleep in my class? Class is for learni..." Aria interupted her, "I really don't care." Aria smirked and picked up her things. She was walking towards the door when the teacher yelled, "Go to the office!" Aria dropped her stuff on the ground and papers flew everywhere. "I'm on my way." She said.

Aiden watched Aria leave through the door, her things gathered up in her arms as if she had prepared for this. Shaking his head, Aiden glanced at the time again. It was almost the end of the day, just 10 minutes away. Perfect.
Switching to a different song, he sat back in his seat, closing his eyes. Soon, everything around him faded as he disappeared into the music, until he was pulled back into reality by the bell. Sharp and piercing, it cut through the air and caused everyone at once to get up and run out the door. Quickly, he made his escape out the large double doors leading towards the lobby also, not wanting to get caught up in the crowds until he remembered his Coat. Snow still floated through the air, it's crystals landing on the ground only to be trampled by excited highschoolers. Sighing, he leaned against the trunk of the tree, the same tree they had met at, and waited for her to come out. |

Aria walked out of the office. She had gotten 3 detentions for the little display in her class, but she thought it was wort h it. She saw a pile of her stuff on a chair and leaned down to pick it up. Aiden's coat slipped off her shoulders but she caught it before it hit the floor. Aria draped it over her arm and picked up the rest of her stuff. She wondered how she could get the coat back to him... She could always wait until tomorrow, but then she had an idea. He had seemed to like being outside so she wondered if he was where they had met. She shrugged and started towards walking in the general direction of the outside area. She walked out and sure enough he was right by the tree. Aria walked up to him. "Sorry," she said, "I forgot to give you your jacket back. But at least I found you." Then she looked around and realized he had been waiting for her." Sorry." she said again quietly. She held out the jacket to him.

Aiden accepted the jacket, putting it in his school bag. "So, what happened?" He asked, starting to walk.
