Ross looked over his shoulder when he heard a loud crash as some girl dropped all of her things. He set down his paint brush and walked over to her with her things, "Here you go." he said as he handed her the last of her belongings. |

'Thanks' her voice shook with scaredness and she satdown. Eventhough she was a junoir she was in a senior artclass.

Ross chuckled a bit as the girl stuttered and shook a bit. Sure he was a senior but he never really thought of himself as scary, "No problem." he said offering her another friendly smile before going back to his seat.

Nyx sat down and started to paint the Greek godess she was named after. She painted her with swirling big black shadows around her.

Ross was painting a guitar and to be quite honest, it was terrible. He looked at his work and cringed crumpling up the paper and tossing it skillfully into the trash can before starting on another painting. This one was just lines and swirls of all different colors because Ross figured that would would be pretty hard to make look all that bad.

Ross looked at this painting and nodded, it was better than the last one at least. He dipped the paintbrush into the water and then into the black paint before scribbling something into the corner of the paper that if it were ledgible would have been his name but with the combination of the thick brush and Ross's terrible hand righting the words looked more like chicken scratch.

Ross turned to the girl who had earlier dropped her things, "Sure. I'm obviously not an artist but it's not that bad is it?" He askked handing the paper over to the girl. He realised he didn't know her name and offered out his in hopes of her opening up a little bit, "I'm Ross by the way if you couldn't tell by the uh...black blob in the corner of the paper." he said.

"Nice to meet you." Ross said with a smile, 'Maybe she could be my first real friend.' he thought to himself then thought it was kind of sad that he didn't yet have a friend. Ross looked at Nyx's painting, "Woah. This is amazing." He said, "This could be in like a museum well in like a hundred years but you know maybe an art museaum or something." He handed her back her painting.

Ross chuckled, "Uh sure why not." He said. He remembered back in kindergarten and maybe first grade when little kids on the first day of school would go up to any random kid and ask to be friends with them without even knowing their name yet. Things were so much simpler back then and to be honest, it was way funner back then too.

"That's totally fine." Ross said with another chuckle. He looked up at the clock on the wall and sighed seeing that there was still a good amount of time untill the bell would ring to he looked back to Nyx, "So any other things I should know?" Her asked.

"Hmm lets see. I have three older brothers and an older sister, I LOVE pancakes, I can play a couple of instraments, and I can sing and dance. I think that's about it." he said he absentmindedly tapped his fingers to the beat of a song on his leg.
