She looked back at him with her hair still in her face. Her lip had a cut on it "Oh! Hello Maruae."she said to him as her voice shook a little. "Im fine."she told him as she looked to the floor. She took a deep breath and sighed it out. "H-how are you today?"

Zaccario scratched the back of his head "oh heh i didn't know ya heard me heh so what's ya' name?" he asked the kid in the red shirt as he smiled. Maruae looked at the cut on her lip "..you got in a fight yesterday didn't you?" he asked as he guessed at what the cut lip was from since he had patched one up when Zaccario had gotten in a fight.

She looked up surprised.
"I guess I suck at fighting and hiding things."she said with some hate in her voice.
"And actually the fight was this morning..."she played with the pencil in her hands and brushed her hair back revealing a bruse and more cuts
"Is Book really such a weird name?"

Maruae looked at the cuts she didn't look as bad as Zaccario did when he was done with the fight but it still looked bad "no i think it's cool and i only knew that you got in a fight cause when Zaccario was a kid some guys beat him up for wanting to cook, cause from the town we came from cooking was only for women but he loved food in everyway and yeah i found him p@ssed out near my pop's store and that's how we met heh. So you dont suck at hiding things it's just my way of knowing." he said as he smiled at her.

She saw his smile and smiled back.
She brushed her hair again to hide her face.
"I wish I had someone as nice as you. I mean back where Im from I had plenty of siblings but none of them knew how to make a person smile."

Book was happy now despite being recently beat up. Now all she needed was for her scars and bruise to go away.
"Thanks Maruae. I needed this. Just to talk with a friend. We are friends I suppose, right?"

Book got ready for work after school was over. She carefully placed two bandages over her bruise and put medicen on the cuts. She headed out the door and walked to the book store. She considered going to the resturant but decided she didnt need the embar@ssment.

Alistaire stretched out his arms wit a grin, sligning his backpack over his shoulders as he headed out to the restaurant, humming a little tune as he did so. He enjoyed working there, loving the chance to escape from the chaotic hellhole he called a home. ________________ The twins were heading to go find jobs! ((FAILURE. ;;)) ________________ Hieroj headed towards the bookstore that was lcoated nearby, smiling. He wanted to see if he could find a good book that would catch his interest. He really did like to read, he just couldn't find the right book for him. ((OOH. OOH. Book, as always, wasnt working but in the manga section reading. The custumers walked past the odd worker only staring slightly. Book didnt care what they thought. She might as well had been in the manga

Hieroj walked into the bookstore a few moments later, wearing a nicer shirt that, again, he personalized with a black heart over the spot where his actual heart was. This one was colored white and fit him much better than his red one, showing that he was the complete opposite of fat. He was actually very well built and...well...kinda hot. ((TOO BAD RIKA CAN'T DRAW HOT GUYS. ;;))

Zaccario danced around Maruae as they started to the resturant "i cant wait to see the orders tonight" he said as he jumped up and did a flip. Maruae rolled his eyes as they walked into the resturant, they put their bags where they normally kept them and started off to work. Zaccario got 3 orders off the back and quickly raced to the kitchen with the order.Maruae also began to seat people and take their orders to give to the cooks in the kitchen, though he knew Zaccario would be the one to snatch it and cook it up before any of the others had a chance.

Book's belly started to growl.
She couldnt wait until she went on lunch break.
She didnt have much money so would have to find a cheapo place to eat. She looked up from a book and looked at her watch then at a small pocket mirror. She look at the marks on her face and sighed.

At the resturant, Zaccario continued to cook until he was tapped on the shoulder. He sighed, "breaktime finally" he handed the man the dish and walked out the back he pulled out his cigarette pack and lit one and began to smoke as he leaned up against the front of the building.

Book was thinking about where to eat when she saw Zaccario smoking. She tilted her head down trying not to be noticed by him. She didnt want him to be little her for her scars.

Zaccario closed his eyes and smiled as his temper finally went down from not having a smoke in a while "ey! Zac! you got 10 minutes!" one of the cooks called from the kitchen. Zaccario answered by waving his hand in the air as if telling him to go away. He looked up at the black starry sky and sighed "man i love this job" he said to himself with the cigerette in his mouth. ((a lot of detail about nothing XD))
