Faolan and his 2 friends were waiting outside of school in Faolan's car. Alex looked at Faolan "Why did coach want us at school early?" He asked. Faolan and Tanshi shrugged "To go over so stuff i guess." Tanshi said. Just then the coach pulled up, and the 3 got out of Faolan's car "Hey coach why are we here?" Alex asked. Coach led them into the school and brought them into the locker room "Here's your new jerseys!." He said and handed them gold jersey's with the numbers black Faolan's was 1, Alex's was 10, and Tanshi's was 15 "Sweeet!" They said in unison.

Serena had walked to the school, tempted to change into her wolf form and run the last leg. But she stayed the same, to avoid concerning a few dull humans. "... Well, nothing much changed this year." She muttered to herself as she climbed up the stairs. She made her way to her designated cla-ssroom, plopping onto a chair and putting her bag next to her.

Levi was standing outside the school, his jacket half-zipped and with a white furball popping out of it. "Stop fidgeting, Shichi." Levi mumbled. His dog yipped excitedly. Levi sighed. "Y'know, the school considered not letting you come with me." He said, knowing the dog wouldn't understand. "Coach! Did I make it to the team this year?" Levi called, seeing the football coach. The man grinned and lead Levi to the locker rooms. "Hey, Faolan, Alex, Tanshi." Levi said. Shichi yapped three times to greet the other boys.

Tanshi looked at Levi "Yo." He said, as he put on his highschool football jacket. Faolan and Alex were doing the same, Faolan threw Levi a new jersy and a new football jacket "Welcome to the team." He grinned.

Tanshi walked out of the locker room "Catch y'all later i got to get my books." He said and walked off, As he walked towards the libary he saw 2 new girls (Sara and Grace). He smirked and walked up to them "Welcome to Tri-school." He said

Levi caught the jersey and lifted it up to examine the number. "Number 13. Very funny." He said dryly, stuffing it into his bag. "I think I'll go to cla-ss too." He said. "You coming, Faolan?" Shichi yapped joyfully and pawed at Faolan.

"No need to welcome me, Tanshi." Serena said with a faint smile. "I really miss summer, though." She sighed, resting her head on her hand. "Where's your buddy, Faolan? You two are practically inseparable." 

Tanshi chuckled at Serena "Good to see you Serena, Faolan is in the locker rooms he should be coming out with Levi, there pratically best friends, but there not me and Alex are his friends." Tanshi gave another chuckle.

Faolan nodded "Yeah, lets go." He said and turned towards Alex "Hey ya comin'?" He asked. Alex shook his head "Nah im going to the weight room i have a free period." He said. Faolan nodded and walked out and walked over to Tanshi and thumped in the head.

Serena shrugged. "Whatever you say. Levi's a little unsocial, don't you think? And it's like he glued his dog to him. But I have to say, Shichi's pretty cute." Serena grinned, remembering all the times Levi would insist to bring his little white dog around with him.

Levi shrugged. "Have fun lifting weights." He said to Alex. "Well, he's pretty lucky though. I wish I had my free period now. Let's go, Faolan." Levi started off towards the clas-sroom. Shichi clambered up Levi and hung over his shoulder, yapping at Faolan. 

Tanshi nodded "Yeah, but he is a good football player." Tanshi said and looked over at Faolan "Oh, there's Faolan now." He said and grinned at Serena.

Faolan looked over towards them and smiled "Yo, Serena how was your summer?" He asked walking over to them.

Levi sauntered into the cla-ssroom behind Faolan, picking out a seat close the group. Shichi scuttled out from Levi's jacket and hopped onto the desk, wagging his tail and yapping. 

"Hey, Faolan, Levi." Serena grinned. "And hello, Shichi!" She cooed, patting the little white dog on the head. Shichi yapped even more, his entire body wriggling with happiness. It was obvious the dog enjoyed being the center of attention. "Not much happened, Faolan. I didn't go out of town or anything." Serena shrugged. "You?"

"You'll love this school, sweetie," said the blonde boy driving. He has a pale complexion, with ice-blue eyes that were lined with a bit of black liner. He was full of energy, talking to his best friend whom sat in the p*censored*enger seat as they began their way to school. 

"I'm still a little nervous, Liam. You can't help that," the girl in the p*censored*enger seat spoke this time. She was called Alaina, a fitting name for one with long dark hair and pale eyes. 

As Alaina saw the school in the distance, butterflies flew into her stomach. "Liam…who is going to be here?" 

"The usually, princess. The icky-smelling werewolves, the drab humans," He noticed Alaina shot him a glance at that. "And the gorgeously smart vampires." He smiled big, looking at Alaina, and saw that she was not as enthused. "Oh sweetie, you know you could just as well be a vampire if you would let me get to you." 

Alaina smiled. It was an old joke of theirs. Back when Alaina's parents were mid-divorce, she had begged Liam to turn her. She figured then she wouldn't have to deal with anymore 'human' problems. Liam had declined, however.

"Are there any cute boys willing to date a human?" she asked timidly, a little bit of humor in her voice. 

"Oh absolutely!" Liam replied with such enthusiasm, Alaina was a little shocked. She laughed all the same, though, and found that her butterflies were not near as bad. I can do anything with my best friend by my side, she thought.
