Allen listened as Urrn spoke, slightly curious. At the offer to visit the tea shop, he smiled and nodded. "I'd like to visit to taste your teas, then," he told him. "Would after school today be alright?" he asked. He actually enjoyed tea, especially after a long day of dealing with people who had no self-control. Oh well. C'est la vie, non?

((Yeah, that's right. I put French in with my asian.

Inside Urrn was a whirlwind of girlish delight, and it was all he could do not to giggle and twirl his non-existent hair around his finger. Instead he shrugged, though his smile grew. "That would be perfect. I'll be working a little bit, but that just means that I can fix the tea fresh for you. Your other option would be Dotia, and she..." He looked over at his friend, internally wincing as she made a funny face at him then got distracted as a butterfly flitted over to land on her nose. He did a facepalm, face heating up. "She's a little off."

At this Dotia turned, planting a big kiss on her best friends cheek. "But you looooove me." This time the flinch wasn't internal, and afterwards Urrn got to work trying to rob the girl germs off of his cheek. "Yeck. C'mon, Dotia. People might see. Even worse, they might think I'm straight." He said the last word as if it were a curse, and Dotia giggled. "Oh, noone in their right mind would ever mistake you for a straight person, oh Twiggy Queer Who is Really My Sister But Got a Sex Change at Birth."

Allen chuckled softly at the interaction of the two friends, moving his arms so that one was crossed over his chest, the other's elbow resting upon it so the dark-haired male could rest his head against it, an amused look upon his face, while a warm light seemed to be in his eyes. "You two get along like you're siblings," he said. Not that he'd now, seeing as he was an only child and lived on his own. "And as for the tea-making, that sounds great." He smiled in a friendly manner. 

ooc:// I know. I love them, too. Maybe because that's Me and Nameless Homosexual Best Friend. Only this friend (who's name is also Aaron/Urrn DARN IT secret's out) is deathly scared of female parts. It's how we keep him out of our cabin at Band Camp.

And... no such luck. Dotia is thoroughly entranced by Aaron and Allen. She loves playing matchmaker for her Gay Best Friend.

If he wasn't still keeping his cool Urrn would definitely have giggled. All this bubbly-ness was making him want to act all weird. Which was, you know... weird. He nodded, shrugging again. What was with the shrugging? It was like he was going to shrug his shoulders off. Stupid shoulders keep on shrugging... Luckily Dotia stepped in, making up for Aaron's inability to speak in complete sentences. "That's because secretly we are" She grinned, and Urrn took this opportunity to do something other than nod. "It's true. Don't let the fact that I'm half black fool you. But yeah. Our, uhm, ah... We..." "We have a yearly ritual to complete with Ms. O'Donnel. You can follow if you like, but it would be terribly boring."

"I'm curious to see what this yearly ritual is...so I believe I shall take you up on your offer to follow you," Allen replied, his dark gaze flickering over to Dotia for a moment before returning to Urrn. He seemed to be holding something back, but exactly what it was, the dark-haired teen couldn't be sure. But he was going to take this opportunity to see if he could find out.

Urrn's blush deepened, and he struggled to maintain his dignity. He motioned for Dotia to lead the way, keeping silent as they navigated the maze-like halls of the school. Finally they reached their destination, the choir room. As soon as they were in a pale woman with fiery red hair lept towards the two, hugging them both into her arms. "Oh! You made it! Not that I ever doubted that you would show up. After all, this is our last chance to do this together. You brought a friend? Good. This year we deserve an audience. You two have grown so much I can't believe that three years ago to the day you were both so shy about singing and now look at you! Natural performers."

They chuckled, eyes watering a little as they hugged Ms. O'Donnel back. Without having to think about it they went to the piano, and it was Urrn who remembered that the 'audience' needed somewhere to sit. He motioned to a chair, smiling through the tears that stung his eyes and throat. "Please, sit. We will perform for you." Then the three turned to each other, conferring in whispers over what to sing. Ms. O'Donnel sighed, her voice gentle. "It's our last year together. I say Conte Partiro." This was agreed on, and with imperceptible nods she gave her singers the beat. The piano started up, and the two launched themselves into the song.

Both their voices, soft and high, trembled a little at first, but found strength in the familiar routine. This was tradition. Soon their voices were floating together, melding and floating as if it were all a dream. Only the geeks in the school knew of Dotia and Urrn's secret talent, their beautifully melodic voices. Mostly because only the geeks payed any attention to the choir or Glee Club performances. Noone else bothered to give them any notice. And so they were happily under the radar of the school's in crowd, rejoycing peacefully in this gift.

I'm actually tearing up, too. And I don't even understand most of what they're saying.))

Allen sat down in the chair that was motioned to, leaning forward to cross his arms over his legs in order to support himself. He sat, silent and entranced, as they sang, the soft, sad melody making him close his eyes to listen, pictures playing on the backs of his eyelids. He smiled, though it was a little sadly, and let the melody begin to paint its own pictures, rather than drawing up ones from his past, such as the day he left home to live on his own. It had been such a heartbreaking moment... Even though he wasn't that far away, his mother had been in tears, and his father, the man he looked up to and thought was unable to cry, had also been in tears.

He lifted his hands to his face, then opened his eyes in slight surprise to find out he'd actually shed a few tears. He quickly wiped them away, hoping the others in the room hadn't been able to see. He supposed that just remembering how his father had been crying as he told him he was proud of him had brought back the tears that he, himself, had shed.

He shook off the sad feelings he had before concentrating on the song once more, resisting the urge to hum along as he figured out the melody of the song, sure that he'd end up messing up the beautfil singing.

ooc:// That's what my language does to people. It's even more sad when you understand the lyrics. And I had to perform that song for a concert. It was terrifying and amazing all at once.

The song closed, with their voices trailing off gently. Both of the singers took deep breaths, smiling to their teacher. It was a miracle she'd been able to play, as her bright gold-green eyes filled with tears. She flew around the piano, taking them into her arms as the tears flowed down her cheeks. After giving a final squeeze she released them, and they turned in unison to Allen. They gave flourished bows, smiling despite themselves. It was, after all, the performance that they would treasure for life.

Urrn watched the tall, somber figure, cocking his head to the side. Puffy red eyes. So he'd shed a few tears himself. Wiping the tears from his own eyes he brightened his smile, face lighting up a little. "Thank you, thank you. You've been a splendid audience." His arms swept the expanse of the room, as he bowed continuously and blew kisses to his 'audience'. He mouthed thank you's and oh, you're very kind...s, chuckling all the while.

Allen couldn't help but chuckle at the way Urrn acted. He moved his hands to clap, smiling. "That was...Well, I don't think beautiful quite covers it," he said as he stood up and walked over. "You two are amazing." His smile grew wider, his eyes still sparkling a bit from the tears he'd shed earlier.

Aaron blushed, his gaze dropping. "Thank you." Behind him Dotia giggled, eyes lighting up with mischief. It made her happy to see Urrn like this. Sure, he commented on a lot of guys being very attractive, even made eyes at a few of them. But to her knowledge he'd been fauning over Allen since they started high school. It was silly and cute and totally perfect that now he was talking to him. Like, actually talking. This was about as big a deal as big deals got in their book. She sighed, eyes squinching up a little as she watched.

The bell rang overhead, reminding everyone in the room that there was, in fact, cl*censored*. Urrn yeeped, then looked frantically to Dotia, then back to Allen. "Well, we gotta go to cl*censored*, but see you at lunch? We always go to Dotty's parents restaurant. They feed us and a visitor each for free during the school year." He gripped onto this moment, trying to look casual and inviting at the same time, which was very hard when he just wanted to hug the yummy samurai look-alike and never let go.

And omg. Allen and Aaron should have gym together. What should the gym uniform be? ;D))

3: Awesome idea. Normally it would be everyone in shorts (guys get gym shorts, girls get the option of sophies (those uber short shorts)) but of course, Aaron being Aaron he would wear the girl's shorts. Because 1) he's got a nice bum and 2) he's so gay, he poos rainbows.
