((Just smoke and Shadow. Rain and Pebble aren't old enough yet.)) Smokekit and Shadowkit stopped scuffling and ran under the highrock, tails held high in the air. They sat in the clearing and waited for the rest of the Clan to join underneath Leafstar. Shadowkit began to clean her fur while Smokekit's fur stuck up all over the place. Shadowkit looked at him, amusement clear on her face. "Stupid furball." She cuffed him affectionately behind his ear. "Clean yourself." She said. Smokekit obliged and smoothed his ruffled fur.

(Rainkit and Pebblekit are from two different Clans. And neither of them is old enough to be apprenticed yet. It's Rainkit and Oceankit (StreamClan) and Pebblekit and Sandkit (RockClan) and Smokekit and Shadowkit(RockClan) Stoneclaw smiled proudly. "It is your time." she purred. "I wish I could watch, but I can't move Pebblekit and Sandkit. They're too young. So have fun, and good luck. I hope you get good mentors." she smiled. Smokekit stepped in front of Shadowkit, being the bossy furball he was. They scrambled up the highrock to sit next to Leafstar. Shadowkit quivered with excitement. I wonder who's going to be my mentor. She thought. She looked up at Leafstar. Ohhh, i sooo hope it's her. She thought, but she gazed around at the clearing of cats, her tail still held proudly in the air. she loved every one of her clanmates. Smokekit was busy wondering if his pelt looked ruffled.

Leafstar gazed at the two kits, "From this moment, until he has earned his warrior name, this apprentice shall be known as Shadowpaw. I will be mentor to this apprentice." she mewed, her cold grey eyes softening as she watched the small kit.

((Shadowkit's female. XD Smokekit is the male XD)) Shadowpaw quivered with excitement. Leafstar is going to mentor me, She thought. Her clanmates were nodding in approval at the choice. Smokekit looked down at his paws. Aw. No fair, the good stuff always happens to Shadowpaw. Then he decided to be happy for his sister. He gave her a quick nod and looked back at Leafstar.

Smokepaw and Shadowpaw stood up to touch noses with their new mentors. Shadowpaw was quivering with excitement from head to toe while Smokepaw remained calm and collected.

Shadowpaw touched her nose against Leafstar's. Then she stepped back. Smokekit was done with his ending part of the ceremony. Shadowpaw looked up and waited for the clan cats to call their new names in welcome to the clan.
