Silvie was well aware of Mia trying to make herself superior to one like herself. Frankly, it made her laugh. "Hey. You guys wanna here something funny?" she was trying to hold back her laughter. Levi and Catie were first to look up, followed by the others. Silvie stood up and spoke... full of enthusiasm. "Know that Mia girl? yeah the GryffindorK. She put a note on my back, you see. Trying to make herself seem stronger, or get her five minutes of fame..." she pulled off her robe, turning it around to for everyone to see bits of soot clinging to the fabric.
Catie rose her hand, "Oh god. what happened? You didnt kill her, did you?" The room went silent...silvie would do that.
Silvie smiled deviously. "NO! Of course not...not yet anyways." she smiled, her head cocking to the side with a wicked charm. "well. She put a note on my back..." she repeated herself. "I am not sure what it said. But I left the note there for a bit, until I got out of sight from her and her worthless bunch of followers." she continued. Ignoring the gawking faces of the others.
"TO GIVE HER SATISFACTION? What in the world Miss Leigh" Jared asked, his hand clutching his heart, and his mouth gawked in a fake dramatic effect.
Catie, Levi and several others each held their own bewildered ex
pression. "Well.... how'd the soot get there?" they said in harmony.
Silvie was silent for a moment, "Well, as soon as I got out of sight, it burst into flames..." she sneered, a dark beam crossing her face. "This was a bit before I turned down the hallway towards the dungeons. IF ONLY you saw the faces of students, both older and younger, when that note EXPLODED! The noise echoing about the halls. THEIR FACES! Oh my lord! Several first years screamed, and the prefects JUMPED! Students flinching backwards and bumping into each other" Silvie crossed her arms, "But. I didnt acknowledge this. Didnt even look back." she took her seat on a large lounger, her legs crossed.
Levi burst into laughter, "YES SILV!" he said loudly...those around him nodding heads in approval and laughing without control. "So. How we getting this Mia girl back, Silvie?" Catie questioned, already withdrawing her wand.
Silvie didn't stir. "We dont my dear friends."
Levi nodded in approval. His exact thought. "WHY?" Jared questioned, an eyebrow raised. Levi was the one that spoke, "BECAUSE, my dear friends, we have nothing to prove. We are superior. And this we know. No need to stoop down to the Gryffindor's sorry excuse for 'pranking' if you dare call it that." he stated, his eyes closed in relaxation as he sprawled on the carpet.
Silvie nodded. "exactly."
--------------
First years entered the common room by now. A small blonde haired boy looked at Silvie. "You're not burned?" he asked, his face a chalky white; his eyes wide as he pointed to the slytherin girl. Several around him cocked their heads, their faces also pale.
At this question; Levi and the group burst into laughter once more.
