OoC: I'd like to start. :) And I just went and saw the movie. o3o I cried, I laughed, I screamed... Best. Movie. Ever.
Phoebe pushed her trolley through Kings Cross station with her parents. They had been told how to get to platform 9 3/4, but they were all still a bit hesitant. "You can come through to," Phoebe said to them. She waited until no one was around before walking towards the door at a normal pace. Her parents followed. Phoebe flinched as she walked through it, and was relieved to see she got through it in one piece. She sighed and walked quickly to the Hogwarts Express, waiting patiently as lots of children got on.
Phoebe checked her watch. She still had ten minutes until the train left. She turned to her parents. "I have everything I need." She said. "I'll be okay," She gave her parents a quick hug each. Her mum wiped a tear from her eye, then laughed weakly.
"Look at my girl, all grown up," She said. Phoebe smiled but rolled her eyes.
"I'll be fine, Mum." She said. "I'll send you an owl. Every week." Her mum raised her eyebrows. "Every day, then," Phoebe sighed, grinning. "Alright, I better get on," She said, and with one last wave at her parents she walked through the door, and into a corridor. Now it's the hard part, Phoebe thought to herself. Where will she sit? She walked slowly down the corridor, looking into each compartment through the windows. They were all full, except one. Sighing happily, Phoebe collapsed into it, putting her bag on the chair beside her and looking out the window.
She saw her parents. They were waving, smiling, and her mum was crying. Oh Mum, Phoebe thought. She was really going to miss them. To take her mind off it she took out her wand and her charms book, along with a feather. Biting her lip, she lay the feather on the fold out table and murmered, "Wingardium Leviosa," The feather quivered and lifted a tiny bit off the table.
