{I'm going to assume Eridan is just a butt.}
Might as well get it over with and go out there. With a deep sigh, the Sea-Dwelling Troll huddled into his cape and placed his hands against his sides, stepping out of the ship with a bored ex[injection]pression across his face. The moment his golden eyes met Earth, an unintentional scowl formed on his lips. What a disgusting place, with its littering humans that did nothing useful all day. Though he was utterly repulsed by the sight of this foul place, he figured he had no other choice but to come and attempt to help defeat Jack. If they failed, oh well - Eridan figured it wouldn't effect him directly anyway.
He moved towards the back of the small group of trolls, but because of his height that surpassed every troll but Gamzee, he painfully stuck out. He shuffled his feet and hunched down in his long purple coat, ducking behind Sollux who was standing directly in front of him. Suddenly, a reluctant confession came from John, immediately followed by Sollux's angry cries. The dual-colored eyed troll strode forward and took John by the collar, growling in the land-dweller's face. Once Eridan realized that John had stated he didn't have a plan, the aquatic troll nearly applauded the blue-and-red eyed troll and right up and smacked John upside the head. What. An. Idiot.
Eridan stepped forward and folded his arms across his chest, an angry scowl tugging at his lips.
ERIDAN: wwell, im not surprised
He began, turning his head slightly to glare directly at the blue-eyed human.
ERIDAN: yet another land-dwweller doin wwhat it does best
He paused, his eyes filling with anger and his frown growing deeper.
ERIDAN: screwin things up
He nearly turned away and stomped away into the ship, where he could hide under a table until they could leave. Instead he stood uncomfortably in the momentary silence, his golden eyes piercing John as he glared directly at the human. Tavros nervously stepped out of the ship and joined them, making a quiet suggestion. When John pleaded for them to stay and told them they should get into god-tier form again, Eridan just snorted. Did John really think the trolls were stupid enough to continue following him after he called them here without a plan?
Dave stood and shifted from foot to foot as he awaited John's reply, noticing that the aquatic troll Eridan had joined their group. As he looked from the sea-dweller to John, he saw the dark-haired boy's nervous blue eyes scan the group. Karkat exploded, as usual, followed by Sollux stomping forward to grab John and push him to the ground, finally ended by Eridan who angrily proclaimed that all humans screwed everything up. Tavros suggested an idea in his usual nervy way, to which John responded pleadingly to.
Dave sighed, shuffling a few steps closer to John. He expressed a loud sigh, though his voice was calm in a very "cool" matter unlike Karkat, Sollux and Eridan's tones.
DAVE: come on egbert
DAVE: i thought you were smarter than this
Dave tilted his head slightly and crossed his arms, watching his friend with disappointment in his covered eyes.
