Pinkamena looked back at Tales and smiled. Suddenly, she heard weeping, it came from a little four year old girl, looking for its mother. Pinkamena dropped the body and hurried over to the tiny one.
"Don't cry little girl,everything going to be alright." Pinkamena cooed at the four year old, petting her head softly. Pinkamena never showed kindness to people most of the time,but she has a very big soft spot for kids. Every time she sees a child weeping, she looks back to her childhood, remembering that weeping child used to be her. She just couldn't bare seeing a child weep, she just hurts her badly.
"Tales we have to take this girl with us. I don't know why I said it,but its for the best. And we gotta hurry, before people stare." Pinkamena said, propping the girl on her back.

Tales sighed. "Ok... She will probably recognise us..." He said, walking over to the four year old. "It's ok, we'll look after you little one. Cry as much as you want, or cry as little as you want, and we won't mind." Tales said softly. He hung onto Pinkamenas shoulder and whispered in her ear, "I can't reach the little girl cause I'm tiny. If I could I'd probably stroke her head, and try to sooth her." Tales dropped off Pinkamenas shoulder and looked at the crying girl, and sighed. "It's like how I cried when Sonic killed me... He turned into a blood thirsty monster..." He mumbled, remembering his past. Tales tried his hardest not to cry and didn't, he was lucky about that. "Please, little one. Don't worry, we'll look after you and give you what you want. Pinkamena here is amazing at making cupcakes!" He said soothingly, smiling slightly. Tales sighed again, a tear slowly running down his face.

Pinkamena, silently sighed, looking back at Tales and the little girl, who has stop crying. Pinkamena smiled and felt her hair 'Poof'. "Oops."Pinkamena said, looking upwards at her hair. Soon enough, Pinkamena's smile grew wider when she heard the little girl giggle.She giggled back,but this was rare for her to giggle. Reaching the house, Pinkamena walked in the door towards the couch and set the little girl down. The little girl looked at Pinkamena and smiled,suddenly reaching for a hug.Pinkamena was surprised by the little girl's movements, but hugged back. It had been a very long time(I mean a VERY long time) since her last hug. |

Tale followed Pinkamena back and smiled, watching the two hug. He thought of his past, he'd never hugged before. What was it like? How did it feel? Tales sat on the couch and sat next to the little girl. He wasn't to keen so he just sta and watched Pinkamena an the little girl.

"Would you two like a cupcake?" Pinkamena said, making the little girl nod quickly. Pinkamena quickly got up and went in the kitchen.

"It's fine. My names Tales. You might recognise me." Tales replied, smiling. "Don't worry, we're here to look after you." He quickly added, wondering of she'd hug him. Tales looked at Pinkamena and smiled at her.

Tales looked at Pinkamena shocked, although he hugged Eli back. The feeling was nice, but weird. He smiled and calmed down.
