Kana closed her eyes, her hands throbbing. "What was that spell?" she asked herself quietly. It was something completely strange, her hands had never glowed green before. Shaking her head to clear the thoughts she looked over at Veser. "Where are you headed now?" she asked curiously. The humans would want to enprison the creatures if they found them. Kana was thinking of finding a place near the hills where they could all live, but maybe everyone had something else in mind. The wind blew through her hair and she closed her eyes, the air was fresh and clean, unlike the musty air of the prison.

He grinned softly at the sun and opened his eyes to watch everyone. They were all so happy, but all so miserable. It was odd to see. Kana shook her head and lookd at him suddenly, curiously. "Where are you headed now?" He wasnt sure how to answer and she tilted her head back, closing her eyes. A soft wind came and ran through her air and he thanked his stars for his freedom. Tilting his head back, he sighed. Then: "I'm not sure."

Kana opened her eyes as she heard his reply. With a sigh she started to think about everyone else. "What are we going to do?" she thought to herself. Looking at Veser she jumped down from the boulder and walked towards where the others were resting. Kana didn't want to ever get seperated from them, she had even made some new friends. "We need to find a safe place for all of us to stay.... that is, if you guys want." she told them softly, feeling like she was about to fall asleep.

Kana looked tired. Veser couldn't understand why, but she looked utterly weary and he felt bad about it. "Look..." he spoke, his voice terse. He didn't like this. This speaking thing. "I've nowhere we can go." Kana looked dissapointed and tired and he groaned inwardly. "But..." her eyes lit up and so did the fairy girls and he sighed. "There's a place in the mountains...it's not big, but...I think it..."

Kana's eyes lit up and sparkled as she waited for him to finish his sentence. The mountains would be a perfect place for them to stay! She turned to the little elf who was grinning happily. Veser had no idea how much joy this news brought to her. She frowned suddenly when her legs started to hurt and she quickly sat down, feeling like she couldn't get back up. "Is this an after affect of the spell?" she thought to herself, hiding it and looking up at Veser hesitantly.

His eyes snapped shut, suddenly, and he groaned in pain. Then they opened and the wave was gone and he gave her a smile. "It's just down the road. A bit of a walk, but...it should be okay to...Kana?" The girl's eyes stared at him hesitantly and his hardened in response. She'd sat down so suddenly he thought she'd fallen, but now she looked hurt. He leaned toward her, hopping off his boulder and placing each hand on either side of her shoulders, gently squeezing. "Kana?" his voice was worried. "Kana, are you okay?" What am I doing?!

Sakura stopped flying around in the open air, coming up beside Kana and Veser frowning. "Is everything ok? You seem troubled my dears." She landed softly, making little sound on the ground beneath her. She looked at Kana, her brow furrowing with worry at the exhaustions written clearly on both of their faces. ((Fail)

[[Not fail, plot pusher]] He let go of Kana and looked at the fairy girl, his brows furrowed in at first confusion and then anger. "You..." his voice was terse and he groaned. "I am not your..." he broke out in a sweat and slammed his eyes shut, the pain in his head enough to bring down mountains. "'Dear,' anything, got it? Just...you and...and Kana...you need to leave me alone. I'm not mad but...just for...a little, okay? Just leave me..." he grit his teeth and looked away. "Alone." And then, like the sulky, angry, hormonal teenager he still was, Veser stalked off to a tree and sat under it, groaning. Idiot.

Kana felt speechless and she watched as Veser stomped off. She felt like crying. Kana sat there, her eyes fixed on her hands with worry. After a while she was able to get back up. She started walking off in a direction for some unknown reason, Veser had wanted to be alone. There was a gurgling stream right in front of her and she gasped at how it sparkled in the sun. It reminded her of the time she had drowned and she let out a small frown. Kana sat down next to it and put her feet into the cold rushing water, humming softly to herself.

"What is wrong with me?!" Veser groaned, grasping his hair, pulling at his threadbare jacket. Usually he was calm. Collected. But something about her, something she had said... Dear. She'd... And that had hurt. It had hurt him to hear that. His mother... "Not now." He growled and thrust his fist at a tree, cracking the skin against wood and wincing angrily. Frowning, he stood back, shoving his hands into his pockets. He sighed. "I've got to fix this."

Sakura sat on the ground hugging her knees. She knew she had upset Veser but she didnt know why, and the way he had yelled at her. I shouldnt care, I know I shouldnt. I just struck a nerve or something. Or maybe the stress got to him. Sakura's thoughts raced around her head as a tear formed at the corner of her eye. "I shouldnt care, but it hurts." She whimpered outloud, obviously upset now. (fail)

Kana sighed, her mood suddenly in a saddened state. She got up and walked over to Sakura. "Are you alright?" she asked, wanting to know if Veser's words had bothered her. Her heart tightened and she sighed before she got an idea. "Oh." she said before she waked over to the little elf. "Hey.. do you remember...." she began whispering into the elf's ear. He nodded and sat down in the gra.ss, smiling Kana started humming a song softly to herself. It was a song that she had listened to the day she was captured, though it brought sad memories, it was still her favorite song.

He ran a hand through his hair and stuck out his bottom lip, biting it promptly. He'd never blown up like that before, and it was bothering him to the extreme. Letting his lip go, he walked over to Sakura and gave her a leveled gaze. "Sorry..." his voice was dry and he looked the girl in her eyes. She looked hurt. So hurt. Idiot. You don't even know her and you- "I didn't mean to offend. I'm terribly sorry...can you forgive me?" he turned his head for a moment, glimpsing Kana sitting in the gr*censored* and tilting her head back. He turned to Sakura and smiled. "Please?"

"I dont know, you gotta cookie?" Sakura smiled deviously standing up to full height. She spun on one foot, looking up at the clouds. Each of her movements were so graceful even without her trying, but she never payed attention and no matter what anybody else would tell her she wouldnt believe it. "So we were going somewhere? We might want to move quick, feel those vibrations in the ground? Well thats most likely the gaurds looking for those like us who chose to stop." She noted, putting her palm to the ground below her feet feeling the pulsations of mulitiple feet hitting the ground at high speed.

Veser was forced to reconnect his jaw as he watched Sakura twirl around effortlessly, and his eyes were riveted on her graceful form. As she stopped and described the danger he watched, closely, as she lay her pams to the floor, the vibrations echoing through her small form. He was mesmerized by her movements and barely noticed her words, but the meaning sunk in quickly. His head shot up. "Let's go."

Kana looked up "So we're going then?" she asked, he mood suddely lifted. She got up and skipped in a little circle. "Yay" she thought to herself. Looking ahead she saw that some of the others had dissapeared. "Wait, that's not-" she couldn't finish her sentence, she felt dizzy and her head started to hurt. Looking around at Veser and Sakura she watched as trees started to fall, one by one. She blinked, the trees were upright again. "Huh?" she asked, totally and utterly confused. Taking a step forward, Kana almost fell, her feet not yet used to the dizziness. Taking a deep breath she tried again and fell. Getting back up she winced at the pain in her leg. "Common" she urged as she managed to walk over to a boulder and sit down. Quickly she took a look at her hands, they were glowing purple. "Now, what does that mean?" she asked herself. The green was very painful but now purple? Ugh.
