((I think I'll give us a start. People can post more bios in their own time.))
Becky was in the forest, talking to her two Pawniards as usual. The shiny male one was called Ranger, and the normal female one was called Valkyrie. There was a Bisharp as well, named Blade, but he was out gathering food.
"So, how you guys doing?" Becky asked.
"Pawniaard?" Valkyrie hummed.
"Bored too, huh?" Becky as.sumed. "I know how you feel. Strictly speaking, with N befriending Reshiram and Zekrom, he's forbidden humans from being near Pokemon. But am I gonna listen to THAT guy? NO!"

Meanwhile, at a forest not to far from Becky's, Terra was traveling with a handful of pokemon that had come to be her closest companions. A skitty and furret playfully chased each other around as an umbreon napped on the back of a houndoom, who was strong enough to carry him without breaking his sride. Some times small pokemon would emerge from the forest then disappear back into its emerald depths. Terra's graceful paws glided smoothly along the ground. The feel of her tails, though like and fluffy, combined was a familiar weight at her rear. Unrest had grown back in her urban town. Her parents were becoming increasingly cross with her, not just that she was in the forest often, but getting upset over small matters. They were stressed and the whole town was unsure and worried about these strange people who had the DNA of potentially destructive creatures. So, Terra slipped away in the night, knowing that what ever survival skill she lacked, her companions could make up for and she brought a bare minimum of things she thought she would need in a small bag slung around her back. The furret slowed its run and playfully bumped into my side, I let a smile smile creep and my face right before I chased the pokemon. We moved forward, to somewhere and nowhere, wandering wherever a whim would take us.

"--And take THAT!" Robyn winced as his foot connected with the tree, and he toppled over. The tree, meanwhile, was a tree, and could not retaliate. The boy was sure that it was laughing at him, though. With a sigh he got back to his feet and gave the tree a steady glare (which it didn't respond to-- again, it's a tree), then... transformed. His arm rippled like someone had dropped a stone into water, then turned into a Scyther's blade from the elbow down. Grumbling to himself, Robyn cut four notches in the tree, then changed his arm back and moved on.
He'd lost track of where he was, but it wasn't that big of a deal to him. He rested when he needed to, practiced on trees, and left landmarks in case he got turned around. Robyn didn't know where he was going. That fact was obvious. But he didn't care, and was rather happy to see where his feet might take him. It would've been easier if he had a map. But he'd forgotten to get one last time he was in a town, and it was too late to turn back now. Ah well.
He was broken out of his thoughts by an unusual sight. A Ninetales passed him, followed by a gaggle of other Pokemon. By the time Robyn registered it, they'd moved out of sight. That wasn't enough to stop him, though. "Hey! Waaaaait!" Not thinking twice, Robyn gave chase.

Terra was the first to hear the calls, Houndoom second, Furret and Skitty were third lost in their playing, and Umbreon remained asleep. For a second Terra panicked, perhaps we were followed by somebody from my town? But if that was the case surely they wouldn't shout? Terra stopped and turned to the person who had called to her. The stranger did not seem hostile... Terra faced him and sat down, waiting for him to catch up ((By the time she had wondered if he was hostile he ran into sight)) Furret lied down and Skitty hopped onto his back. Houndoom sat down and Umbreon sloppily, but gently, slid off his back, waking up when she hit the ground. Once the stranger was within a few yards Terra could tell something was....off about him, but she couldn't tell what. To be safe she acted innocent. She slightly tilted her head at the newcomer "Kyuu?"

Shay had been walking in the forest, taking in her surroundings. Many pokemon watched her as she passed; after all, a suicune wasn't just a rare sighting to a human. Some followed and she had briefly conversed with a houndour who had followed her the longest, however that was really all. It wasn't that the pokemon were frightened, more.... in awe. Though it was really only the newer pokemon who were hatching every day that felt this way, for many of the inhabitants of this forest already knew of the suicune that regularly passed by. Usually Shay had a bigger group behind her or beside her, but today was just not that kind of day for her. Which was pretty alright by her.
Far off, Shay could hear a human's voice. It called out for someone else. Halting, she sniffed the air and realized that it wouldn't be best if she presented herself to this human. Though, a spark of curiousity got the best of her as she quickly sped towards where the action was going on. For a moment, Shay peered through the bushes as a tingle of excitement and perhaps recklessness spread through her body. She didn't dare make a sound as she watched. Her wits finally came through after a few brief seconds of this and she turned to run off. This conversation or whatever was going on wasn't worth the risk of some human spotting her.. Even though she herself was partly human, she couldn't particularly morph back into a human and be all, 'Hey, I can become a pokemon whenever I want! What's up?' ~~~ Michael sighed as he walked along the sidewalk leading towards the outer part of town, the part with the forest. He had just been over to his friend's house and now he had time to do whatever he pleased. His parents wouldn't mind, they knew he was out and about all the time and that he knew how to take care of himself pretty well. Soon the sidewalk and the houses became grass and a dirt path, and then afterwards it was trees and greenery and pokemon. Most of the pokemon shied away from Michael, though he didn't blame them. After all, he had knowledge of what it was like in their footsteps. In the next second, the boy was no longer there, rather a small vulpix in his place. He padded on, and soon the pokemon were more apparent to him. A few grouped around and followed him for a little, but a vulpix was nothing really special. Soliditude was sometimes a happy thing for Michael, especially in his pokemon form. He could be at ease and at peace, walking along in a forest of pokemon. It was rather beautiful and calming. He soon picked up a nearby shout and the presence of his evolved form, a ninetales. He padded over and emerged through some bushes, one paw raised, examining the pokemon and the human before him. He then let his paw down and walked over to sit next to but slightly behind the ninetales. This should be an interesting conversation, and he himself might even become a follower for some time.

Robyn dropped to his knees once he was sure the Ninetales wouldn't run off, then held out a hand. "Wow," he murmured. "I haven't seen this many different Pokemon all in one group before-- not unless they had a Trainer." He whistled, impressed. Something felt off, though. He examined the Ninetales carefully as he tried to place it. And the Vulpix that had just shown up gave him the same feeling.

The vulpix that sat near Terra baffled her. Did she know it? The scent was not familiar...Perhaps it belonged to one of the trainers from her town? Wait...did Duke- oh wait no, he had a Growlith...
She got the same strange instinctive feeling from the vulpix as she did from the boy. Kind of like the game where you guess what cup the ball is under. The feeling that a little something is just beneath what you see.
Taking a risk and hoping for a development, Terra took a risk and looked the boy in the eye, blinked, for a moment showing her blue eyes that had no business on the graceful face of a ninetails. And a short bl ink later they were ruby red once more.
"Kyuuu?" To a pokemon this would mean as much as a question mark would mean to a person

Becky looked around. She heard voices.
"Wanna check that out?" she asked.
"PAWNIAAAAA!" Valkyrie cried, nodding eagerly.
"Alright then." Becky said, heading off towards the voices. as she went, she began changing into a Bisharp. This time, though, she decided to morph FULLY into a Bisharp, instead of stopping when the morph was half complete. By the time she was a full Bisharp.
"Pawwniaaard!" suddenly, a shiny male Pawniard, whom Becky had nicknamed Ranger, emerged from the bushes, followed by a Bisharp named Blade. You could tell Becky from blade by the fact that in Bisharp form, Becky retained her height of 5'8'', while Blade was 5'3'' in height.

Robyn froze. Just a trick of the light, he told himself. Like hell it was, he snapped internally a scant few seconds later. The feeling had mounted, and he felt himself shaking a little. No, don't, you're gonna scare them off-- He winced as he engaged in an internal struggle, then with a sigh let it loose. The transformation flowed over him in the bl ink of an eye and left a Scyther in his place. Now I've done it. Robyn cringed as he expected them to flee from him. But the little nagging feeling... For some reason, he knew that wouldn't be the case. What if they were like him?
He shrugged it off. There was no way there could be others like him. He was just an abnormality. People who turned into Pokemon just didn't exist-- asides from himself, anyways. And really, what were the chances of him stumbling across another? But that odd feeling that he was looking at something... unreal, like an illusion, still persisted. And those blue eyes might've been more than a trick of the light. Either way, he was about to find out.

Terra's companions looked at the person who just shifted with interest. The only one that they had seen like that was Terra. Her gamble payed off, he was like her. Terra raised her self onto her haunches as her tails retreated towards her body like snakes. The creamy mane on her head lengthened and darkened into a brunette shade of brown. And from the fur black clothing emerged where there was none before. The transformation was only a couple seconds though. Terra faced the Scyther that stood before her and gave him a warm smile, releasing a small giggle that could only be born from the throat of a Ninetails. "My name is Terra" Her companions sounded off in a greeting "Taa!" "Nee!" "RUU!" "*yawn* buuu..."
Terra cast an expectant glance to the vulpix and returned her attention to the Scyther

Michael's eyes widened as he watched the human boy transform into a scyther right before his eyes. Then the ninetales became a girl. These people... were like him! This was great! He never knew that others would have the same condition as himself before, but this was newfound knowledge that could be used to his advantage. Well, maybe not an advantage... However it made him happy. Deciding to reveal himself as well, he caught a glance from the ninetales-girl - Terra, as she said her name was - and stood up. Michael's fur became skin and clothes and short brown hair soon appeared atop his head until there was no longer a vulpix, rather a human boy.
He scratched the back of his head and grinned, resting back on his legs. "The name's Michael," he greeted. "Nice to meet you guys." For a moment, his brown eyes shimmered with happiness.

So the vulpix was a shapeshifter as well. Terra felt a second introduction unnecessary as he had been sitting right next to her. From their mannerisms and speech, Terra decided she liked these two. In a breathless communication she glanced at her friends who had been sitting behind her the whole time. They understood the message that did not need words. Umbreon had fully woken up and Furret and Skitty were becoming a little fidgety. Houndoom just seemed a bit apprehensive. Though she didn't say anything, Terra snickered. She realized that the boy looked older then she was, but he was a vulpix and she was a ninetails. The concept doesn't apply as much with pokemon that evolve with stones, but she found it amusing nonetheless.

Robyn stared, then his face lit up with happiness. He wasn't the only one! In a manner of seconds he was back to human and basically doing a dorky little dance. "I'm Robyn! It's nice to meet you!" He eagerly took Terra's hand and shook it, then did the same with Michael.
"I'm sorry I'm a little overexcited, but-- wow!" As he talked, he gestured wildly with a huge grin on his face. "I never, ever thought I'd find-- Especially not here!" He paused with his hands in the air, then let them drop back down to his sides. "..Uh, where is here?"

Terra smiled at Robyn's enthusiasm. "I'm not sure where here is exactly, I know passed a mountain and through another forest from my hometown Carona, We've been traveling for about a week." Then, without warning, Houndoom jumped out in front of Terra, Facing Robyn and the vulpix boy, snarling intent to attack lit up in his eyes.
(( He is basically trying to judge the other people's personality and such, as soon as he gets a reaction from either of them he will back down and does not plan on attacking anybody. [but your characters don't know that :3] ))

"About a week... So you're a long way from home then, huh-- Agh!"
Robyn jumped back as Houndoom leaped forward, then composed himself. He got down on one knee and reached a hand out carefully, keeping note of the Pokemon's body language while making eye contact. "Easy, easy... I'm friendly, nothing to worry about." Even though I can turn into something that has blades for arms, he added to himself.

Seemingly satisfied with Robyn's response, Houndoom instantly relaxed. He looked over his shoulder lazily. The other three pokemon visibly relaxed muscles that they didn't know they had tensed. Terra liked them and Houndoom approved, happy, Umbreon sat a little closer to the new comers, and skitty snatched up a stick, and started running, Furret soon in tow, though they never strayed out of sight. As Houndoom stood up, about to walk to a more comfortable spot Terra mumbled under her breath "and you call me spiteful..." Houndoom grinned, a rare sight. Terra looked back at Robyn "You were saying? ^_^"

Robyn smiled and sat down. "You sure have some good friends, huh? "Anyways. As I was saying. You're a long way from home, aren't you?" He chuckles. "So'm I. When I found out about... this--" he gestured to himself, although it didn't quite give the effect he was going for due to being currently human, "--I figured it was time to pack up and go. My parents are Pokemon breeders, so I grew up around Pokemon. Even then, I don't think they would've understood it. Or not freak out over it." Robyn shrugged. "I left them a note saying I was going to visit a friend that had moved away a few months before, then just started drifting about. "Lost track of where I was or how long I'd been gone." Robyn sighed, then smiled. "But it's great getting to see all the different people, you know? And all the different Pokemon, too. There's a lot I wouldn'tve gotten to see if I stayed back home. It's what I like most about being able to roam: all the different things." His ex pression turned troubled. "...But stuff's changed. I don't know what's been going on, but if someone sees me when I'm a Scyther, they run away. Won't even get near me! And I thought, you know, maybe it's because of the whole sword-blade-arms thing, but I see Trainers releasing their Pokemon all the time now."
He paused to scratch the back of his head. "Sorry for rambling. When something comes to mind, I can't shut up. Haha..." Robyn grinned sheepishly. "Anyways, enough of my and my thoughts. What's your story?"

" Ah Carona, a group of people able to come together for all the wrong reasons. For the most part the people avoided each other. Not much friendliness towards you neighbors. Though they were kind of judgmental and scrutinizing. If your kid had good grades it was reason to brag. If you had a lot of money it bought respect. Not all the people were all that bad, but those that were nice generally fell to the bottom of the pecking order or gotten taken advantage of. Having a pokemon wasn't necessary, though because a strong pokemon was a status perk many people did. I was always a dreamy little kid, still kind of am, my head is usually in some cloud somewhere. I thought of how I might feel to be a trainers pokemon, and decided that I wouldn't like it, and if I were to have a companion it would be because they are my friend, free to leave whenever they please, but staying with me because they want to. When I was going to leave these for came with me for various reasons, though the constant was friendship. Skitty and Furret wanted to explore and go somewhere, though they didn't have the gall to before. Umbreon was hoping to see new places and earn tales to tell. I don't think Houndoom really cares where he is, he probably thought that someone needed to keep an eye on us. I kind of think he was right too XD Anyway, back to Carona. Something was going on and it was causing unrest among the adults. They were very careful about keeping children out of the matter so they could focus on school or something. Most of the kids didn't care, but I have no idea how they could have ignored the stress and panic among the adults. What I found a little annoying is it wasn't the sort of panic of "what might happen to my children? Is everything going to be okay? How are my friends faring?" It was more of the panic of a rich man about to loose his fortune. By the time rumors of shape shifters reached my ears I had already known of my own ability. It probably had something to do with pokemon. At this point I didn't particularly care, and I just wanted to get away from these self centered people. So I slipped away in the night and asked the forest pokemon who wanted to come with and most of my closest friends came with, those who didn't had to strong of reasons to stay, though this was my closest circle anyway." As if to prove a point Skitty leapt onto Terra's head, smoothing out the fur she ruffled in the action, then settling down, looking at Robyn through her squinted eyes.

Robyn listened to Terra's story, sitting cross-legged with one arm across his lap and the other supporting his head. "So word's been spreading of us, huh? Maybe it'd be fun to contribute to those rumors." A grin spread across his face, but he quickly shook his head as if to shake the thought off like water. "Nevermind that. Any place in mind to be heading to? I could always tag along." He shrugged. "It gets lonely, sometimes." Doofus, he thought to himself. I must sound like a creep. He pulled up his shirt enough to hide his face in a bit of a childish gesture.

Michael stood calmly through everything - or, rather, stared at a random point ahead of him as he was deep in thought. So, a scyther and a ninetales... I wonder what it's like to evolve into a ninetales. Can pokemon shifters like us evolve? I'd need a fire stone, and to be a vulpix. But, still, what if I was a human? Would I automatically just shift into a vulpix then become a ninetales? Or maybe the next time I shifted I'd be a ninetales. Or I'd transform right then and be a ninetales forever! Oh, wait, back to everything else. She laughed, the girl, uh... what was her name? It started with a 'T' ... Ah, well, I'd hear it again later. I guess I forgot again. Anyways, she laughed, was it because of me being a vulpix? WAIT, I have an idea! It looks like I'm older than her, but she's the evolved form of me, technically 'older' but not really. So it's sort of funny, I guess. And that houndoom and the scyther kid's reaction went by so fast - I didn't even have time to react. Wait, what am I doing? I'm missing stuff. The two of them are talking.
He shook his head and caught the part of Robyn's story and the last remnants of Terra's. Oh well. Wait, shouldn't he be explaining himself, too? Or not... Uh.. Ok, wait, Robyn was speaking. Michael soon realized these kids were out here on their own. He was still with his parents - for part of the time, at least. "Uh..." he said dumbly. "Nevermind," he muttered softly after a pause.
