( I JUST LOL'D SO HARD. XDD
Hehe I should probably stop spamming and post something, but I don't have anything to say.)

A small blue form floated idly on the surface of the lake. Then again, it wasn't much of a lake than it was a very large pond. Blue eyes stared up at the cloudless sky as its red button nose twitched slightly. Had it really been three years already? A sigh broke the steady silence around the water, and the Pokemon turned over and dove slightly before rising to the surface again. Upon closer inspection, it could be identified as a Dewott. It paddled softly towards the water bank and deftly pushed itself out onto solid ground. The Dewott shook its whole entire body to be rid of the heavy liquid that clung to its blue fur.

And suddenly the Dewott began to glow a strange light, its form changing conspicuously. Ears and tail shrank until they disappeared, and its whole body growing taller and taller. The blue fur was gone, replaced by blue and white fabric--clothes. The blue Dewott face shaped cheeks and a chin, and the red nose became more prominent light-toned. Damp blue hair clung to his head.  In the place of a Dewott, a boy stood casually.

"Well," he seemingly spoke to himself, stretching. "That was a rather refreshing bath, don't you think, Adler?" He looked towards the trees to his left, and the red head he always saw jumped slightly, but this time did not retreat behind the trunk. He sighed and rolled his eyes at the Charmander. "Come on, how long are you going to keep hiding from me anyway? I already know you're there."

The Charmander did not answer, but rather pressed its lips to a thin line, small little fangs poking out from underneath them. Seton shrugged and walked into the forest idly. There was something odd about the place. He continued getting strange feelings in his stomach, a familiar feeling that he had encountered in the past. He did not care to linger on the thought.

Instead, he allowed his own feet to move on their accord, hands shoved into his pants pockets.  The Charmander behind him, as he expected, trailed slightly behind, hurriedly moving from one tree to another. Suddenly, Seton stopped when he spotted something near the bushes. Brows shot up in curiosity at the light blue form of a Pokemon concealing itself in the greenery. The Pokemon held a lot of properties of a Suicune. But it was hard to say. 'This is surreal. I knew something was weird about this forest.'

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw his little red follower jump from one tree, to another. It did not seem as if Adler noticed the Suicune. Its blue eyes did not leave Seton, after all. The blue-haired boy allowed himself to be amused when the Charmander jumped slightly more to the left and slightly crashed into the bush that the Suicune hid into. But that didn't stop Seton from  being worried. That could be asking for trouble.

Shay whipped around and felt the body of a charmander topple onto her.  The shifters she had been watching would certainly notice, unless they were deaf and/or blind.  She let out an irritated roar and attempted to fling off the charmander, then sped off, away from everyone.  This was an interesting event.  Looking back as she skidded to a halt, she felt another presence.  Shay turned her head slowly to see a boy with blue hair standing a few feet before her.  Somehow, she happened to be like a deer in the headlights.  In her mind, she could practically hear a pin drop.  "Sui?" Shay breathed softly.

"Char!" Adler flew back and rolled onto the ground roughly, skidding to a halt by Seton. The blue-haired boy's eyes widened and he crouched down by the dazed Pokemon. The moment he reached out, however, the Charmander's eyes snapped open again and squeaked slightly at him. Seton slightly yelped when it latched onto his leg in its fright, and he went stumbling slightly backward.

"H-hey!" he said, Then he minded the river behind him in alarm. It was said that if a Charmander's flame on its tale was extinguished, it would never wake up again. But it clung to his leg tightly and he would not be able to pry it off without hurting it. Then a brilliant idea struck his mind and he immediately put it into action without a second thought. Seton instantly shifted into a full Dewott, and as hoped, the Charmander lost grip from the sudden transformation, since Seton's legs had shrunk out of its arms. Seton landed upright into the water, splashing slightly, while the Charmander near the bank flopped clumsily onto its belly.

The Dewott jumped up and out of the river and onto the ground again, patting himself of the virtual dust and wagging his lower half of his torso to dry himself. Putting his blue stubby arms on his hips, he faced Adler still on the ground. "That was a close call. You're just full of surprises, you know that?"

As if just realizing the presence of the other Pokemon, Seton slowly turned to the Suicune. He watched its ex
pression closely, trying to note any sort of difference that could indicate its thoughts of fleeing. Still in his Pokemon form, he sheepishly grinned, scratching the back of his head. Then, as if nothing had changed out of the ordinary, he raised a blue hand in greeting and smiled, "Hi there."

With all her time spent with pokemon, Shay could communicate with them quite easily.  "Hi," she responded, not moving an inch.  "So you're... a shifter?  Wow, there's so many in this area."  Her eyes wandered over to the charmander.  The shifter's pokemon friend seemed to be sort of oblivious and headfirst.  He could've gotten his flame washed out!  Shay looked back at the boy - or, rather, dewott - and asked, "What's your name, shifter?"

Seton felt delighted that the Suicune spoke. He was only thankful that along with his Pokemon DNA, he had gained the ability to understand other Pokemon. But the Suicune had touched on a rather strange subject than he expected. Slowly, he replied. "...Shifter? Is that what they call it in these parts?" He blinked. "And there are more like me here?"

As he stared at the Suicune, he could not help but notice the odd sensation that he felt in his mind. It was as if there was a ringing alarm that was trying to tell him something, but he could not put his finger on it. He shook his head and introduced himself. "I'm Seton." He thumbed behind him, where the Charmander hid from the other Pokemon. "This here's Adler. The guy's a bit shy. He never really approached me until now.

How about you? Do you have a name, too?" Seton asked the Suicune. There was still that nagging feeling in his brain when he looked at the Pokemon--he deemed that she must be female, since the way she spoke sounded quite feminine. Now that he thought about it, the strange gut feeling was stronger in this place than it had been anywhere else. It was starting to  make him restless, and so he fiddled with the shell on his pants-like fur.

Knowing about the presence of two new shifters, curiosity gnawed at Terra. Knowing she likely had to stay and figure out what to do, she called her companions "Skitty, Furret, why don't you go greet the new comers?" "Nee!" "Taa!" and with that they gleefully darted off towards the strangers. They carefully moved without a sound and when they were close to the shifters but out of sight they popped out of the bushes and shouted, hoping to startle them "NEKO!" "TACHI!" They shouted as they popped out of the bushes at the water shifters, large grins on the mischievous pokemon's faces.

((I went to eat lunch and wash the dishes. :P Now I have to make this quick because my mom's telling me to give me Herdier a bath.xDD))

Ah. So that must have been what Seton kept feeling--a suspicion of the Suicune being just like him. So did he have the ability to sense others like him? If so, then Shay was most definitely telling the truth that there were more around. He watched with great interest as Shay reverted to her human form. Seton looked up at her in slight surprise at how young she was. The girl probably did not look any older than he had been when he discovered he was a shifter. Shifter. That had a ring to it.

Still a Dewott, Seton bowed in that formal way that he was raised to learn, a habit that he could no longer shake off. He spoke with a pleasant tone, "Likewise, miss Shay. My tongue in this form is quite fluent in human language as well, so not to worry. And I enjoy being in my form, too." He gestured to himself humorously. "If you have not noticed."

He turned his head when a racket occurred from the bushes. A Skitty and a Furret jumped out towards them with Cheshire grins. Seton twitched his nose in interest while Adler jumped and scrambled behind him. He sensed nothing odd about the two poke, so he figured they were just Pokemon. "Hi there. I wonder where you two came from. Do you belong to someone?"

Smiling, Shay responded to Seton for the skitty and furret.  "They belong to one of the shifters over there," she said, pointing to where she came from.  "It's the ninetales shifter.  Hm.  I think they've been sent to summon us."  She put her finger to her chin in a thinky sort of way, then waved to Seton as a gesture to come along.  "Let's go!  I want to be closer to them.  It'll be fun!"  Being apart from humans - and finding more of her kind, shifters - had made Shay eager for any companionship.  She ran forward and halted before going into the group of shifters, waiting for Seton.

a bath? LOL, anyway, I meant for those two to scare you by jumping out of the bushes, guess they aren't as stealthy as they thought XD)) Terra turned to meet the shifters that she could sense approaching *this should be interesting* she thought to herself as she walked towards them.

Vynessa and the others decided that it was best to remain distant for the time being. The crowd was becoming a bit... strange. Vynessa could now see why the houndoom had been so resilient.

((Yep, my Herdier. Her name is Paris. During lunch today I casually mentioned to my parents that our dog looks like a Pokemon. I showed them a picture and they both agreed.xD))

"Well, not a bad idea at all," Seton nodded and followed after Shay. Hesitantly, Adler followed as well. Soon enough Seton spotted another approaching them. He assumed that she was the Ninetails shifter that Shay had mentioned earlier. Warmly smiling, he transformed back to normal and bowed just as he had to Shay. "Good day. I'm Seton Quartz, a...shifter just like you. It's such a pleasure to finally meet someone like me. I didn't think there were others."

The blue-haired boy took note of the others around. 'Amazing,' he glanced around in awe. 'Are all of them shifters, too? I didn't think that Shay meant this many.' He frowned slightly when a few of them left quietly. 'Was it something I said?'

Dismissing the thought, he smiled to the other male that greeted him back. He straightened and slipped his hands into his pants pockets casually. Thinking out loud, he spoke so everyone heard. "I just can't help but wonder why so many of us had showed up in the exact same location. Such a coincidence."

'Somehow I highly doubt that it was,' a small, darker part of his mind mused.

((Eh, I'm not sure whether you guys were in your Pokemon form, human form, or half-Pokemon form. ^^'))

((UGH My brother accidentally closed Firefox before I got to post my reply. D: He was doing something on my computer and he closed the whole window. Now I have to type it all over again. -_-))

"I'd be more than happy to tag along if that's alright," Seton offered. He made himself more comfortable by reverting back to his Dewott form, and he walked up to Terra and her companions. He looked behind him and towards Alder, who stood a few ways away from Shay. He was twiddling with his claws as he sneaked peeks at the other Pokemon around him. He must have not been around so many numbers before. 'Poor guy.'

"Hey, Alder," he called out to the fire-type. Alder looked at him irritably for some reason, to which Seton raised a brow in question. Shaking his head, he continued, "Do you want to come with or are you going to stay here?" Hastily the Charmander ran up to Seton and clung to his arm desperately, not wanting to be left alone with unfamiliar faces. Alder's action had surprised Seton somewhat. "Hey. Alder..."

Then he made the biggest discovery in the world.

His eyes widened with the realization. The pointed look that the Charmander gave him only confirmed his suspicions. "Whoa! You're a girl Charmander. So sorry! You never really talked or even came close to me, so I didn't know!" He paused. "Can I still call you Alder anyway?"

He received an angry smack over the head in reply. He never thought he--she had the guts to do that.

((Twist. Because I could. And I was bored. D: Probably changing Alder's name to Talia instead.))
