(Ach, where to start. *pulls on hair* My mom took me shopping for a concert and I hate trying on clothes and walking around stores.) Fox pricked ehr ears at the sound of Jack's voice in the Noth Lounge. She jumped to her feet and hurried, almost shifting, down the long hall to the North Lounge. When she arrived, Jack was again standing on on of the tables. He waved his hand in the air and the chatter of the present hybrids and humans ceased. "Now, we will pair the new arrivals with hybrids to show them around the School and help them feel welcome. As soon as they are paired, the hybrid is to share their history with their human. Understand?" Fox dreaded this, for most of her family had died when she was just and infant.

Cloud stared at Jack. His history? That consisted of growing up here and... well, that was it. He let out a soft sigh; the most he could do was hope he wasn't paired, and if he was, well... he felt sorry for his human. They'd have to break him to get him to talk louder than just above a whisper. Ashoka fidgeted a little. He was looking forward to this almost as much as he was dreading it. He didn't know what to expect, after all, and he couldn't be sure the hybrid would be nice to him...
