"Here are the pairings." Jack said as he pulled out a folded paper form his coat pocket. "The hybrids and humans are to step up once called.  Jeza shall be paired with Cloud. Jacoby to Fox. Chelsea to Ash and Ashoka to Reverend." Fox flicked her tail and stepped up to the table, her ears slanted backwards, her crimson eyes shifting from one smiling face to the next as they watched her.

Jeza gazed around, looking for the owl hybrid. She gave up and shuffled to stand next to the hybrid they called Fox though she was really a wolf hybrid. She waiting for Cloud, her hands clasped infront of her and her gaze downward.

Cloud pushed his way forward rather roughly, wings opening slightly as he made his way to the front. One of the humans ran into him, pushing to the front at the same time. He turned to glare slightly at him.

Ashoka glared back. Neither one said a word, but it was an immediate mutual dislike for each other.

Fox bared her teeth at the two, growling lowly. "No fighting." Jack said after she had stopped. (Fail)

Jeza almost flinched as Fox growled but held her ground, only blinking in surprise. She didn't want to make Fox mad, if that was how she reacted. (Fail again.)

Scourge almost sighed with relief, thank good she managed to wriggle out of getting matched up. She curled her jaws in a smirk

Reverend turned and looked at Ashoka and cloud glaring at each other. He chuckled, "calm down, cloud, i wanna keep my buddy in one peace, m'kay?" he asked, a comic ntoe in his tone

Jacoby glanced at Fox, watching clamly as she growled at the two other kids. (mega fail there XD )

"I'm not going to," Cloud stated. "I know better than that. I'm offended you thought I'd fight." While it was true he was a tank and was supposed to be aggressive, he wasn't. He fixed his blue gaze on Jeza. "We're matched," he said, voice a little quieter.

Ashoka frowned slightly. What was that kid's problem? He sighed and shook his head, standing a little closer to Reverend. "Don't let him touch me."

Reverend chuckled once, "Aww, it's alright, Cloud's a good guy, he wouldn't try to hurt you." He said simply. He glanced around, "So did you manage to get a bit of a good look at this place?" he decided he'd ask about the school

Fox stood next to Jacoby as the rest of the hybrids filed out of the room to do thier various activities: hunting, fighting practice, lounging about the halls. Life went on as usual now. Fox decided to show Jacoby around more. She turned to him. "How about you see the dorms, mess hall, and the grounds behind the  school?" She asked, smiling wide enough to show her fangs.

(( O.O *flails* WHY MUST YOU BE SO LUCKY!? (three days grace is liek.. mah 4th or 5th favorite band ^^) lolz, i be jelous XD ))

Jacoby blinked, and nodded, a little startled by her fangs, but he had to remember, they were half animals... "Yeah, sure. Which one first?" he asked curiously. He wondered for a moment if this was the wolf who'd popped the tire on the van.

Ashoka glanced over at Cloud, who seemed to be looking a little shy. "Why is he a mixture of aggression and shyness?" he asked. "What would make him like that?"

Cloud heard the question. No one except him and the scientists knew why he was two extremes in one mind. At least, that's what he'd told them, so he wasn't sure if Reverend would be able to reply. Turning to Jeza, he said, "Well, um, have you had a chance to wander around?"
