Charlotte's stomach did a little flip flop. "The ocean sounds nice," she said quietly. "Let's go." She grinned, eyes sparkling. James watched a bird fly overhead with wide, startled eyes.

"Careful of all those obstructions in your path!" I've just barely remembered how to use that word. Guess being around Charlotte makes me smarter, Bade thought, grinning.
