Josh rambled on about his past. Damn. "Born in Windsor, Ontario. Grew up in a junk yard alone, got caught stealing fifty three times from the time I was 3, until I was 13. When I turned 14, I hid away in a warehouse, where the owner found me. I killed him. I ran away to one of the larger American cities. I comitted a total of 5 murders there. finally, they caught me on my 16th birthday, and I faked insanity to avoid the death sentence .. " he continued, "Been depressed since I was 5. Fell in love at age 13, but it never worked out. She's still out there somewhere .. " He began to snore again.

Alice's eyes softened a little when she heard this. She soon felt tiredness creep over her as she closed her eyes and was out for the rest of the night. All of her dreams where good.

Charlotte blinked. She was in.. a hospital bed? What ? She looked around. Bade was asleep on a chair in the room. But before she could wake him up, she fell back asleep. Damn meds. ~ Josh yawned, and sat up in bed. He had kicked his blanket off the edge of the bed during the night. He looked at Alice. She was still asleep. He walked into the bathroom silently, and got in the shower.

When Alice heard water turn on she blinked her eyes open. She squinted into the sudden light that filled her eyes. She shook her head and sat up. She fixed the end of her shirt and ran her hands through her hair. Her head was a little sore today. She noticed Josh was out of bed.

The hot water was soothing. He washed his hair, shaved, brushed and rinsed his teeth and then turned off the water. Josh grabbed a towel, wrapped it around his waist and walked out of the bathroom, shaking the hair out of his face. "Oh, you're awake," he muttered.
