Bade didn't answer, and since there was no one else in the cabin, no one else did. Almost a full minute after Charlotte knocked on the door, Russell rushed up, gasping. "Hey, Charlotte," He opened the door and was followed inside by both Mell and one of the doctors on the camp grounds. "Where is he?" Mell asked. "Well, I just got out of the shower." Bade said from inside the bathroom. He peeked through the crack in the doorway. "Wow, Russell, you actually got a doctor? I thought you were just going to get your girlfriend." His voice rasped as he spoke, and as he was speaking, he was changing. Russell rolled his eyes. "Shut your face, Bade." "I will not be silenced." Bade stepped out of the bathroom, walking like he was drunk or something. "'Sup, doc?" He waved slightly, sitting down on his bed. "You're here to see this?" He held up his hand. "Yes," the doctor walked over and took his hand, looking over it carefully. "What happened?" she asked, looking up at Bade. "...I got bitten, obviously." "Don't give me attitude." "By a badger, sorry." The doctor rolled her eyes, then started looking through her bag.

Charlotte frowned, and walked into the cabin. "Bade," she squeaked nervously, "Are you okay?" She stood by his side, and frowned at him. Her eyes were clouded with worry.

Bade smiled weakly. "Yeah, I'm fine." Of course I'm fine. I have to be fine, or something will happen. "It's just that bite...I think." "It's the bite." the doctor confirmed. "And it's definitely infected. Can't you take care of yourself, kid?" She frowned at him, and Bade glared at her. "Yes," Bade hissed. "I can take care of myself. I'm absolutely and perfectly fine." "Russell told me you couldn't breathe correctly." Bade glared up at Russell, who actually went and hid behind Mell. "Yeah, I wasn't breathing right." he mumbled, looking back down at the doctor. "And he had a fever, and he was sweating, and...well, actually, that's it." Russell tossed his russet hair away from his face.
