Charlotte started to shiver. This was too much. She muttered to her Grandmother, "Can I talk with Bade fora moment?" The old woman nodded, and Charlotte dragged Bade away from her Grandmother. She gasped, "Bade! Oh, BadE! I don't know what to do! Please, please, please try to convince her to take you too! Oh, please!" She shoved her face against him, and hugged him tighter. "I don't want to lose you." Her voice cracked, and the tears spilled over.

Charlotte didn't move. She knew that if she let go now, she would probably either never see Bade again, or her Grandmother. She mumbled, "Bade, would you be mad if I left.." she sniffled, "Y'know, without you.." She hated that idea.
