Bade followed, placing a hand on the back of James's head by instinct. He walked out the door and closed it behind him, blinking at the world outside for a second before shrugging and looking at Charlotte. "Where do you think he could be?"

"Oh, good, she's got him cornered." Bade said when he saw Mell. Russell had this sort of traumatized look on, and you could even see him shaking from the door leading into the cafeteria. He almost immediately noticed Bade. "Oh, thank god!" He half-gasped and got up, scurrying over to where Bade was standing and hiding behind him. "She lied! She said she wasn't going to molest me anymore but she did!" "Yeah, that's great." Bade rolled his eyes.

"A couple of hours?" Russell repeated, blinking at Charlotte. "Um, sure," He held his arms out for James. Behind him, Mell mumbled, "Guarenteed protection. Bade'll kill me for sure if I try to get to Russell while he's taking care of his kid."
