Charlotte wrenched her arm out of Bade's grasp, eyes flaring dangerously. She hated nothing more than being treated like a tool. She spat angrily, "YOU SOUND LIKE STEPHEN WHEN YOU SAY THAT!" She whirled around, and stalked angrily towards a different cabin; one that looked abandoned. But she stopped walking, and froze. She turned around very slowly, eyes on the ground. "I didn't mean that..." she whispered, chewing on her lip. "I'm sorry..." Her arm hurt where he had grabbed her; there was a bruise forming.

Charlotte stared after him in shock. "You're not a bad boyfriend," she mumbled almost only to herself. "And you don't have to propose or anything. I don't want that. I don't care if you like James or not, and if you want to take responsibility for him or not..." Tears spilled down her cheeks. "I don't want you to force yourself into anything. I don't want that. I want..." She blinked, watching as he disappeared with a pained ex
pression. "I want somebody to love me for who I am; and not what I look like or do." She struggled for breath. "I want somebody to love me unconditionally, no matter what. I want people in my life I can trust. I want something I've never had; I want..." She took a step backwards, wiping the tears from her eyes. "I want a family." She turned around, and disappeared into the forest.

Mell was playing with a little tabby kitten she had found in the staff lounge. Bade sighed, then kicked at the door with all his might. It broke off its hinges, and Bade walked inside. He picked up James and walked outside, leaving Russell with his jaw dropped, staring at the fallen door. "Let's find your mommy, James, hmm?" Bade cooed at his child, lightly bouncing him up and down in his arms. It was just instinct. He wasn't sure where'd she be, but...

She turned and smiled at him, shoving the plate in front of him. "Go ahead." She placed her head back in her hands with a heavy sigh, and continued staring at the table unhappily as Jacob ate the funny-looking food beside her.
