Charlotte smiled, and twirled her finger around a strand of his black/rainbow hair. "I like it better like this," she said gently, wrapping her arms around Bade. It sent an emotional current up her spine that made her want to hug him tighter. But she didn't. James fell asleep at the other end of the bed.

Charlotte rolled her eyes; a warm feeling spread through her body like the wildfire that Bade had gotten stuck in so long ago. She chuckled out loud when she remembered.

"What?" Bade asked, blinking. He felt a sudden need to smoke again, but he resisted. Charlotte was more important than a need to make his lungs work harder. He cuddled closer to her, thinking, I've got a family. Charlotte and James... I started a family. I never thought I'd end up with a kid.

"Remember when you got stuck in that fire in the forest?" she said, giggling slightly. "I bit you and you got your fat as$ stuck in a thorn bush." She looked up at him with sparkling eyes. I love Bade.. A lot... But.. She thought quietly. I just can't see him as James' father. He doesn't seem like the father type, nor do I really think he'd be cut out for it.

( Aww. xDD How mean. ) Bade blinked. "...I'm fat?" he asked, pushing his black hair out of his face. "And, yeah, you bit me pretty damn hard. I have a scar to prove it," He held his hand out to Charlotte, smiling. If he had known what Charlotte was thinking, he wouldn't have been smiling.
