Lacee frowned this human was different than the guys she was use to... However she followed him without trying to start a conversation again, however when she looked into the room and saw the dog bowl she went from frowning to royal ticked off what did they expect her to do with a dog bowl she was no animal, she may be different but under now circumstance was she a dog. She then looked over at the at the bed and dresser for her ''master'' 

Yukiya nodded, still not comfortable with staying in the same room with a boy. He would have preferred a girl, but he knew he couldn't be picky.

The small boy curled up on the straw laid out on the hard floor. It was quite uncomfortable, however it could be worse. There was days he had to sleep on hard concrete or in a tree so he was used to it. The vampire never had the luxury of sleeping in a bed made by humans, he knew he didn't deserve it.

All he needed was the straw bed, the water dish, and some blood.

Ikuto rolled over to the other side, facing the window. He felt it was rude to face the vampire, that maybe she wouldn't be able to sleep if she felt his eyes on her.

He would have to adjust his sleeping pattern to fit vampires tomorrow. They would stay up all day and night and the following morning they would sleep, so he found it necessary to get as much rest as he could.

The boy let his mind go blank and drift off.

Avery sat up and looked at the boy "so you know you don't have to drink out of the dish right?" he asked looking at the dish "I can get you a cup" he said trying to be kind. However he had never been all that good at things like this being kind that is, but there is a first for everything. "oh and I wanted to ask you when you eat while drank" he said a little bit uncomfortably 

"You mean when I need some blood?" the blonde asked a little awkwardly,"During every meal I feed, which is three times a day."

Yukiya sat upwards in his straw bed,"Sorry."

He knew it must be hard on the humans with giving so much blood to the vampires. Even though he was quite wary of the boy, so much that he wouldn't sleep tonight, he felt some pity for him.

The boy shook his head, he would never feel any sympathy for any male creature. He had been letting his guard down since he appeared so nice, he needed to be more careful. As soon as you put your guard down, they strike.
 

Avery nodded "okay while I can do that, and I was looking at you straw and um that looks a little uncomfortable and I only need one pillow so here" he said tossing three extra pillows at the boy. He then took off his shoes and flopped back on the bed.

Yukiya stared at the pillows that now lay on the straw. He moved further away from them, it was a trick. A trick to test his loyalty to the human, he was sure.

Or he thought, more likely he was trying to get Yukiya to let his guard down once more. Well, the blue-eyed boy refused to be fooled by his trickery.

"I cannot, these pillows belong to my master,"

Yukiya just had to keep a distance from the human, and act as his slave. If he did that then he would be safe.

Avery looked at the boy oddly "not anymore you can have them I promise I did not do anything I just think that sleeping on the floor is stupid do what you want with them but I am not taking them back you can choose to use them it does not matter to me I was just trying to be nice." he said I bit offended that he would not accept them he was only trying to be kind and the boy refused them. 

Yukiya puffed his cheeks stubbornly, but as soon as Avery looked away the boy scooted closer to the pillows. Whenever Avery's gaze landed on him he would hurry and return to his original position.

((Can we time skip to morning?))

Avery stood up turned off the lights and took off his socks and shirt before laying back down and rolling over. He thought he might say something to the vamp but was unsure so just said good night and fell asleep.

((Okay, morning.))

Ikuto awoke to the morning light streaming in on his face. He jumped up, realizing he forgot to shut the blinds and hurriedly closed them, blocking off the sun's rays. The boy was afraid that the sunlight would harm the vampire that lay next to him, breathing soundly.

A knock came at the door, room service.  Ikuto answered the door to a young lady around his age who wheeled in a cart of breakfast foods, along with a giant pitcher of water.

She lifted the pitcher and poured its contents into the dog bowl.

"The cart's for an Ikuto Tsuganomi, the pitcher is used for refills for the pet."

With that the lady left without her cart and closed the door behind her.

Ikuto grabbed the plate and filled it with bacon and eggs, leaving the pancakes, syrup, and sausage on the cart. Took a fork and knife and left the spoon, taking only what he needed.

He pulled a chair from the desk and set the plate of food on a clear table, beginning to cut his eggs.

Yukiya had been awake the whole night, staring a the back of his "master." Before the young boy knew, it was morning. A knock sounded at the door so the tiny vampire quickly rushed to the door and answered it.

Someone had brought them a nicely-arranged breakfast served on a cart. Looking at all of the food made Yukiya's mouth water.

Seeing the look on his face, the visitor snapped him back into reality,"Those are for Avery, your master. Not for a monster, like yourself."

Yukiya wore a pained ex
pression for a second, then remembered his place and returned to his straw bed.

"Here's your breakfast,"the man announced as he poured water into the small dish,"Good day."

The man left. Yukiya began to lap water out of the dish like a dog, thankful for some refreshment. Although vampires didn't need food like humans to survive since they lived off of blood, the boy still loved the taste of the human dishes and felt a pang of jealousy of Avery.

Avery rolled over and opened his eyes at the food. He hopped up out of bed and grabbed a plate full of food leaving some for his vamp. He sat down and started to eat. He then looked at the boy lapping at the water out of the dish, he stopped eating for a moment stood up and grabbed the bowl "nope" he said setting it on the dresser and padding over to the food he dished the boy up some food and handed it to him before sitting down and eating his food again. 

"A-Are you sure it's alright?" the boy asked, staring up at Avery with wide eyes.

Looking down at the plate in front of him he started picking at it, continuously glancing at Avery cautiously. With every bite he took his glancing lessened and his speed increased. The breakfast tasted better than he imagined, he tried to savor it but was unable to slow his pace.

Ikuto walked over to the vampire after finishing his meal, taking her by the shoulders and shaking her slightly. He told himself not to bother with her, but she was sleeping too long and it annoyed him, so he decided to wake her.

Avery nodded not looking up from his food until he was finished, he then looked at the vamp "glad you like it" he said smiling at the vamp before standing up and putting on new clothes and getting ready for the day. 

"No need to get violent," he replied without emotion, as if he wasn't being pinned down by a vampire,"It's time to get up, you've slept long enough. Too much sleep isn't good."

He stared into her eyes blankly, feeling her fingers around his neck, though it didn't seem to frighten him or even startle him. He knew she could easily take his life, but he wasn't afraid. In situations like this, Ikuto felt like he was looking through life with another person's eyes, not feeling as if it was him being pushed down.

"Um....excuse me master,"the blonde finished his food and set down his utensils, staring fixated at the ground,"Will you....feed me?"

Yukiya could feel heat rush up to his face as he blushed deeply, feeling embarrassed at his question. He never asked to feed before and found it quite awkward, he didn't know how to bring about the subject so he decided to just ask.

Ikuto stood and gently touched his neck where light red marks began to appear. He sighed, letting his hand drop to his side as he walked over to his luggage. He picked through his clothing and dressed himself in a standard uniform for spring, a white dress shirt with a tie, and a pair of dark dress pants.

Making his way to the door, he wondered what they would do today. He twisted the knob and pulled open the door, leaving it open as he walked out for Denethe. Since it was the first day and daytime, they would have the day off to do indoor activities until nine, then night classes would begin.

In his hand he carried the nameless book he always carried, thinking of searching for a library or study that would allow him some peace to read in.
