Roxie leaped onto her chair and responded to Emily as she turned on her phone. " 'Ey Emily, how's ma girl?" She found Shadow trying to contact her. "Ey... Yello? Oi, Shad! Can I call you that? Sorry. How ya doin'? Something on your mind?" She looked over at her bowl of lettuce. "Hang a sec guys." She tore off a piece of lettuce and looked back at the Emily on her screen. "Back."

Roxie pawed the screen. "Oh you lug, get that murder out of my face." She got closer to the screen and munched her lettuce. "Since when do parties need to have a meaning? Its just for fun! Plus one optional. But no special relationships allowed please. You hear that Shadow? I want this party to be an opportunity to meet new freinds. Just... Not too much socializing (Forgot how to spell that) with the guys, okay?" She smirked, then bent over for a grape.

Roxie scoffed and popped the grape in half, frowning at the chicken. "More like half-hearted trash out of the gutter. Yeah, I said Shadow. She'll be coming too." She leaned closer to her phone. "Isn't that right Shadow?"

Eastern walked out of Shadow's house and padded across the street to his, jumping in through his catdoor and running into the computer room, requesting to join the chat also. When he was accepted, he meowed at the screen. "Hey, guys." He said, starting to clean his paw. "Whens the party? My human will be out all this weekend, so i'll be available then."

Roxie smiled at Eastern. "Glad ya asked, bud. Everybody, it'll be on Saturday, at 10 pm to 2 am. I don't have any parties from now until then, so you guys can come over and ask me things whenever you want." She stuck her nose at Emily, still gnawing on her lettuce. "Fudge and George are coming, too. Mostly cause... Fudge lives here, and George is plain awesome." She heard the front door unlocking. "Sorry, gotta go sha'.  Just come through the backyard and scratch the patio window if ya need anything else." She disconnected the group from eachother and powered off her laptop, peacefully dragging her lettuce to the couch to pretend to sleep.

Shadow opened her own web chat and invited Eastern and Emily. When their faces came up she said to Emily,"How've you been?"

George bounced along McKenzie Drive (Yes, its a real street) with his tail pointing towards the sky. Upon passing Roxie and Fudge's house, he bounded to the window and ratted on it. Fudge's head popped up, then he pressed the opening button to come outside. George padded down into the bushes, holding his head up so Fudge could find him. Fudge nudged George in the side like a playful tackle. "Hey, I heard we're invited to Roxie's party on Saturday. She thinks your awesome!" George frowned at his best freind, shaking his bald head. "I told you Fudge, I don't like her. You know that. As much of a compliment that is, because no one doesn't think I'm awesome, I like someone else." Fudge sat down on the sidewalk. George turned around and stared him in the eye. "What? Are you going to make that joke again? The one about how I should put some fur on?" Fudge shook his head with a smug smile. "Nope." George went on his way. "Okay, 'cause I got to call Shadow and say hello. I haven't spoken to her in a while, okay? Round up the buds before the party just to get on Roxie's scruff?" Fudge nodded and went along with him.

(Well, what else would he be? I think bald really suits George.)

Fudge snorted when they were at the driveway near Shadow's house. Great, her human was home. Fudge never really cared, but he didn't want to live his bff alone with her, because Shadow scared him. On the other hand, George was somewhat relieved she was home. It made his life that much easier. He went to the back window and scratched it twice, then patiently waited for an answer. "Hey, Fudges. Are you okay?" Fudge was shaking from the mere presence of the place. It wasn't going to be fun for him. "Uh... Yeah, I'm fine..."

George moved forward towards Shadow, smiling back at her. "To talk, thats all. You have any idea how long its been?" Fudge yipped and leaped into a bush.

Fudge growled from the bush. "Hey!" George stuck his tongue out at the bush, then looked back at Shadow, if he could. "Naw, he's just a scaredy dog. Believe me, he won't change. Period. I, for one, am not afraid. The only thing that scares me is spiders. And oceans. And sharks. And canaries. And unicorns. And..." He went on, then shook his head. "Bah, nevermind."
