Josh frowned. "Clearly I do, because the cold air won't go away." He took a couple steps into the snow, and when some dripped into his shoes, he swore and leaped back onto the steps, which were salted. ___ Charlotte smiled. "I never paid attention to anything. Except that .. that .." she trailed off, struggling for a strong enough word, "Monster."
