Payton laughed and walked away to homeroom. Her skirt bounced as she walked. Her friends looked at her. "I know, I know. Skirts against the rules. But it's so cute!" She laughed, walking to class.

Kacie headed off to homeroom, a bit disappointed she missed band this morning, but whatever. She'd be okay without playing her saxophone one day. She arrived a bit late, but by now, the teacher didn't even glance at her anymore when she walked in. Kacie was late every day.
We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip.

(gah I meant math sorry lol match...) Adelaide watched the teacher leave the class to talk to some random student about whatever. Apparently they had showed up like... too late. She held a notebook in her lap, where she was writing music lyrics. She thought about it when she was playing guitar in the band room.
