(yep, and you know I'm actually not in high school yet so I guess its time for lunch XD. I just wurve high school because its the only kind with exchange students. My elementary school makes it sound like the white house) Adelaide sat across from Will. "You know, earlier today I was writing the lyrics to a song, and this boy named Vega comes up to me. They were suspiciously kind. But with americans you never know what their doing, especially this one."

((Man, you guys went far!! xD)) Kacie walked into the cafeteria, keeping an eye out for the new exchange students. She kinda made a silent pact to herself that she'd watch their backs. People wonder why Kacie was so carefree and emotionless, and it was because when she got here, everyone treated her like crap. As much as she played it off like she didn't care, she didn't really want to see the same thing happen to the new kids now.
She sat at her usual table- alone. Every once in a while the type of girl that made Kacie scowl because she was too happy would offer to sit next to her, or a guy who wanted to flirt or know the answers to the Trig homework, and she usually refused unless the girl wasn't that happy or the guy was cute. But today wasn't one of those days, and she was okay with that.
We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip.

A few africans walked by Adelaide, snickering and making stupid comments with horribly fake british accents. "Oh moy gawd, oI lost moi nickahs!" Adelaide buried her head in her arms to hide her face. "I hate chaffers."

Kacie didn't miss that. "Hey!" She yelled at the group that were making fun of Adelaide, standing. "Just 'cause you guys'll never amount to anything in life doesn't mean you have to bring others down to your level. Leave her alone; she hasn't done jack sh.it to you." The group mumbled incoherently before scuffling away, heads down.
"They really give us a horrible reputation here, don't they?" Her eyes turned to Adelaide. "Sorry about that. I know how that gets, ya'know? It isn't fun." She shrugged and started to walk back to her table.
We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip.

Adelaide laughed. "I think thats enough cursing for today, Will." Adelaide took a picture of her family from her backpack. She looked at it for a while, then passed it to Will. "This is my family back in London."

Kacie sighed, shaking her head at the girl screaming curses. Oh, how different she was from her. People needed to learn to not let things bother them. Like how she was ignoring the cafeteria lady's demands to get her feet off the table. She kept them there anyway, crossing her ankles and tilting her chair back, hands behind her head.
Most of her peers were idiots. She hoped maybe one of these new kids weren't so terrible.

Adelaide laughed. "I was the 'stupid' one. Everyone said I was horrible at everything. The only thing they say I'm good at is singing, which I will never admit to. I just tell people I'm terrible. I turn into jelly infront of crowds, especially when I'm supposed to do something. I was assigned to sing at the prom this year- Four months before it happens! I can't do it."
